The probation and mediation service, alternative punishments in the Tábor region.

The submitted bachelor degree essay deals with activities of the Probation and Mediation Service and alternative sentences in the region of Tábor. The main purpose and question at the same time was to find out the most frequent types of alternative sentences served at liberty and places where convicts could serve their sentence. The theoretical section describes the activities of the Probation and Mediation Service and terms related to this Service. It also comprises types of punishments, mostly the alternative ones, listed in the Criminal Code no. 40/2009 Coll. as amended. This section also contains a summary of Act no. 257/2000 Coll. on the Probation and Mediation Service. The practical section comprises two parts. The first part deals with the quantitative research; the questionnaire technique was applied whereas questionnaires were submitted to members of the Czech Police and to employees of the Probation and Mediation Service. 31 respondents participated in this research. In the second part a qualitative research by means of the non-standardized semi-controlled dialogue technique was performed. Four respondents who employ convicts serving a sentence at liberty participated in this research.

Employees job satisfaction analysis on company's branches

The goal of this thesis was to define the basic terms of the problems of job satisfaction and to make the job satisfaction analysis in the chosen company, which name will be not published , because of the inside information protection. The necessary data for the analysis were obtained via questionnaire, in which took part 122 employees from 13 different branches. Respondents were divided into three groups according to the performed work position and the intensity of the contact with clients. Results of research were processed for each individual group. It allows to catch better the differences in the group satisfaction. On a basis of results were pointed out the most problematic areas and suggested concrete steps, which could lead to job satisfaction increase in researched branches.

Job changing in the Czech media and its causations

The fundamental theme of this Master's Degree Thesis is Media Staff Fluctuation in the Czech Republic. The qualitative research, specifically that of individual semi-structured interviews with the journalists, was dominantly used for the processing. The interviews were aimed at the identification of the phenomena which have been complicating their professional performance and making it unpleasant. The respondents were asked directly as well as indirectly about the motivations which had led them to changing their occupation or have had such potential. Organization elements of media institutions are also taken into account, mainly the career code and the way of shift planning. The thesis deals with side-effects of media work such as excessive timeload, stress, haste, competition manifestations, the pressure from the side of advertisers etc. It pays attention to the impacts on freedom of expression and the veracity of published communiqués which may be caused by the unsuitably created conditions. It also includes a look at purely personal level, among others at family and partnership life, or as the case may be, at a possibility of satisfactorily spent leisure time. Conflict as a social process in an organization

The thesis is focused on conflicts in the organization. It is divided into two parts - theoretical and empirical. The first one is based on definitions of fundamental terms:organization, social process, conflict. The purpose of this part is to show the conflict from different points of view and in different connections. The theoretical part is followed by the empirical part summarizing the processed results of research aimed at personal experiences and attitudes to conflict situations. The research has brought a lot of valuable information about the experiences with conflict situations. Most participants declared that they have been confronted with interpersonal conflicts in their organizations. The research disproved the theory that the majority of respondents consider the conflict as a negative phenomenon. Attitude of Citizens about Social Policy of Families – February 2017

Respondents evaluated overall approach of the Czech government to social situation of families with children in the Czech Republic. Next citizens commented on specific measures related to social policy of families.

Analýza motivace a spokojenosti v podniku Europrint

The thesis focuses on summarising the basic theoretical knowledge in the field of motivation and job satisfaction. It further analyses motivation and satisfaction in the selected company, aiming to determine the level of employee motivation and satisfaction. It identifies factors of dissatisfaction and suggests possible solutions to problem areas on the basis of the data. The analysis was carried out on the production staff of Europrint stock company. Survey metodology to research this area was by way of questionnaire survey. The respondents answered questions about routine matters, labour conditions and wage, working conditions and environment, management and relationships in the workplace.

Dining etiquette

The aim is to find out how the subject of Dining etiquette is taught at selected secondary schools and universities and what is its knowledge among students of these schools. Hypotheses set out in this work are: H1: Teaching table etiquette at Czech secondary schools is not big enough and sufficient. H2: Knowledge of students is not sufficient. The work consists of a theoretical part, which focuses on defining basic terms such as dining or label and on the very topic of table etiquette. In the practical part will analyze the selected schools and compiled a distibuován questionnaire among selected respondents.

Corporate identity and image of non-profit organization

The essence of this Master thesis is the analysis of corporate identity and image in the selected part of non-profit organization. Furthermore, this analysis will provide valuable information about how it tries to be perceived and how it is perceived in reality. The theoretical part explains terms related to the topic, mainly focuses on corporate identity and its three components, as well as on essence and importance of the corporate image. Then briefly describes the issue of non-profit organization. The methodical part defines the objectives, methods and respondents of the thesis. The practical part is based on theoretical knowledge of the first part. First is presented selected non-profit organization and its part, which is the subject of research. The subsequent own research is divided into two parts, the analysis of identity by using the qualitative research in the form of individual interviews and the analysis of image by using the quantitative research in the form of questionnaire survey. The thesis is concluded by suggestion and recommendations for the non-profit organization.

Czech public awareness about the gluten-free diet – June 2016

Citizens express whether they or someone in their neighborhood has a gluten intolerance and also whether respondents or someone close to them follows the gluten-free diet.

Evaluation of the Environment - May 2016

Respondents were asked about how satisfied or dissatisfied they are with the state of environment in the Czech Republic and in their place of residence. We also examined whether people are interested about information about the state of the environment and whether they have sufficient informaton on the state of the environment.
