Children's Group. Benefit for both, Parents and Child in the age of two up to three years

This thesis with title "Children's Group - Benefit for both, Parents & Child in the age of two up to three years" deals with nowadays actual social topic, which is placement of children of early age to outside-family institutions. The thesis is divided into two parts. The main task of the first, theoretic part, is to gather and work with all information, which might be used for the topic of work and which might be found in all available literature. The attention is focused onto family with a small child, on current form of such a family and factors, which influence education of the child and its involvement into the society. This part deals also in a detailed way with all family members. With a child, with its needs and possibilities of meeting those needs. It deals also with roles of mother and father, who together and responsibly approach to the education of the child and who, at a same time, try to combine family and career life in the most appropriate way. One of the sections of theoretic part of the thesis brings also an overview of a current situation in society in this field of interest. Indian Family in Selected Novels by Anita Desai

The purpose of this diploma thesis is to analyze the parent-child relationship in selected novels by Anita Desai. The novels chosen for the analysis are Cry, the Peacock; Clear Light of Day; Fire on the Mountain; Fasting, Feasting. The aim of the theoretical part is, firstly, to introduce Anita Desai and her style of writing, secondly, to lay the theoretical basis for further analysis of the attachment between children and their parents. In this part the author presents the Attachment theory, behavioural patterns and parenting styles (authoritarian, authoritative, permissive, uninvolved). The theoretical part is concluded by a portrait of Indian society and typical Indian family structure - the environment in which Desai's protagonists live. The practical part consists of thorough analysis of the selected novels. The analysis shows Desai's tendency to portray such parenting styles that instil insecurity in children. The results prove that these approaches to raising a child affect the personality development negatively. It was interesting to find out that gender bias influences not only the life-path and self-concept of the protagonists but also the quality of their relationship with their parents.

The diploma thesis deals with the issue of digital technologies in relation to toddler children, analysis of differences in education and approach of their parents. The theoretical part defines terms such as digital literacy, digital technology, parent, toddler and others, which is closely related to the topic, mentions their brief characteristics and evokes connections between them. It introduces the reader to the developmental specifics of the toddler's child and presents different styles of attitudes of parents and educators to the current nature of digital media and the subsequent impact on the chosen age group. Based on the comparison of used literature and deeper exploration of the topic, the thesis confirms the chosen hypothesis, which is the starting point for the practical task. The practical part is focused on application-didactic work, where we find a list of suitable recommendations, available programs and applications, which are a guide for parents and educators who are not fully oriented in the risks and consequences of using current digital technologies, especially the target group of children in the pre-stage. entering pre-school education.
The program To Respect And To Be Respected in a critical reflection

In the theoretical part of the thesis there are presented different models of education with the focus on the position of a child as subject / object of education (authoritative education, democratic, liberal) and the importance of authority in education. In the next part of the text there are the concepts, arguments and individual educational strategies of the program Respect and be respected explained in detaile. The research part of the thesis is focused on mapping the experience of parents and teachers (N = 10) who have passed a training course. The key research question is: How can graduates use R + R recommendations in every day practice (family or school), and how can they prove real educational effects? Differences in educational styles of parents with and without pedagogical education

(in English) The design of the research pedagogical project deals with the way of raising children in families where the mother has university degree in education and in families where the parents do not have an education degree or teaching practice. The work focuses on discoverin differences in the upbringing of children in the sample families. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part includes definitons of key terms, characteristics of parental upbringing and educational styles. Firtstly, the work is focused on the issues of education from the point of view of the family, followed by characteristics of the teacher, his personality, typology of teaching styles, pedagogical skills and professional competence. The role of older siblings and their influence on development of younger siblings

When analyzing the development of children and adolescents, the most attention is usually paid to parents. Other older members of a family, however, have an important role, too. The crucial, yet often neglected person (at least in Czech literature), impacting the development of an individual, is his or her older sibling. The subject of the theoretical part of this thesis is to clarify the specifics of a sibling relationship as well as to describe the role and the sphere of influence of the older sibling considering all the factors that come into the relationship between two siblings. The empirical part consists of the description of the research project and the results of the research, whose aim is to discover the specifics of a sibling relationship with a particular focus on the upbringing styles of the older sibling; to find differences between the upbringing methods of parents and the upbringing methods of older siblings; and to find out to what extent the gender and the age difference between siblings determines their mutual relationship. Various approaches to education in adolescence

The bachelor thesis deals with the difference attitude to the parenting of teen-age students. The aim of the thesis is to find out differences in attitude to parental education of teen-age students during theirs growing up. The theoretical part defines basic terms like family and education. This part includes historical development of the parenting, dividing families by functionality and types of problem-burdened families. It focuses on the parenting styles of education. It also deals with emancipation from the family and current view of education. The empirical part is to find out the surveyed students' attitudes to the education. Family and ways of prevention of socially deviant behavior among youth

The thesis is divided into two parts. Theoretical part consists of four chapters, empirical investigation, the practical part.Chapter one focuses on the notion of family and its importance. Except for clarification of the concept are described the basic characteristics of the family now, basic functions of the family and educational styles. Conclusion of the firts chapter looks at the family as a potential risk factor of development and socio-pathological behavior in children and adolescents. The second chapter explains the basic concepts of social deviance and social pathology and describes the main causes of social pathologies. The third chapter describes the various social pathologies, which pose the greatest risk for the age group of children and adolescents. There are described in more detail: dependence on psychoactive substances, aggression and violence, vandalism, bullying, cyber crime and delinquency and pathological gambling. The fourth chapter is devoted to prevention, especially for a preventive action in the family. Practical part is an empirical investigation, in which the case study of ten children and adolescents who have committed some form of pathological behavior.
