Management of a selected professional basketball club in the Czech Republic

Title: Management of a selected professional basketball club in the Czech Republic Objectives: The main objective of the bachelor thesis is to analyze internally a selected professional basketball club and to reveal the key points that have an impact on the club's management. Then, to elaborate on this to make recommendations for the club to effectively improve its leadership. Methods: The research included an analysis of the internal environment according to the McKinsey 7S framework. Secondary and primary data were used to compile the analysis. Primary data were obtained from semi-structured interviews. Based on this information, recommendations were made on what the club should improve for its future operations. Results: Based on the analysis conducted, it was found that the club has a well-set structure and shared values. From the interviews conducted, it was found that all employees in the club are familiar with the same values in the club and that everyone knows what position they hold and who they report to. The lack of technology used in communication and very low development of employees' job skills were identified as a problem. The club does not provide any form of self-development for its employees. System of Management Development in the Company

This bachelor thesis is focusing on problematic of the management development system in the selected company. The topic is chosen on the basics of actuality of the issue, as it deals with the development of human resources, which are still an important factor of every company, as the increased level of management has an effect on employee satisfaction and their lower fluctuation in the company. In the theoretical part of the bachelor thesis, it defines specific type of business - franchising, deals with analysis of the company from different angles and as well dissects approaches to the management teams and therefore strengthening them. In the practical part it analyzes todays situation of the company in their franchises and compares the gained knowledge with the company’s goals. Based on the determined result it recommends possible suggestions, that could be implemented in the development of management teams.

Jiří Trunda ABSTRAKT The changeover of kindergarten culture after taking the office by a new director This bachelor project deals with problems of the alteration in the school culture after assuming the office of Director. The theoretical part is based on scientific literature, which explains a culture of the school, its diagnostics, the evaluation and consequent changes. The research part tries to investigate the actual situation of the school culture in the specific institution. It attempts to identify problematic factors of school culture using analysis of data and find out how to initiate a convenient process leading to alteration of school culture. The question was if it is necessary to involve employees in the process or leave this difficult task on a director. The answer to the question "How to change a school culture" is certainly very difficult, because of different conditions in each school, different people working in the school and last but not least different values and attitudes, which they share. The goal of the project was to verify specific cases (in the specific conditions) by using general methods...
