Special educational methods at the 2nd elementary school in the subject Czech language

Primary school teacher's perspective on inclusive education

This diploma thesis focuses on inclusive education and its close aspects, especially the perspective of elementary school teachers. The thesis itself is divided into several chapters. These explain the theoretical framework of inclusion in special pedagogy and associated topics, for example, a shift in a perception of a person with disabilities in individual periods, basic possible approaches to children's education, ie terms of exclusion, segregation, integration, and lastly, inclusion itself. They explain their definitions or principles. School legislation in the Czech Republic is also part of the thesis. The thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical part and practical part. The theoretical part focuses on the topics mentioned above and deals with the concepts related to education and special education in general, such as school as social institutions and individual social and professional roles in it, the concept of socialization or international trends in special pedagogy. Application of the principles in inclusive education in distance education at primary school

This diploma thesis deals with principles of inclusive education, which were defined by Czech and foreign authors and the possibility of their application in the distance education. The theoretical part maps inclusive education in the Czech Republic and abroad, deals with history of inclusive education and also for measuring the inclusiveness of schools. It also deals with important legislative documents in the field of inclusive education and also with participants in this education. An essential part of the theoretical work is the comparison and definiton of the principles of inclusive education according to Czech and foreign authors. The theoretical part also focuses on the characteristics of inclusive education at the time of distance education, including the analysis of reports and methodologicat recommendations of the Czech School Inspectorate or Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports. This diploma thesis elaborates on the matters of individualisation and differentiation of education in elementary schooling. The theoretical part is focusing on technical and theoretical problem solution. The aim of the practical part is to look at the variety of possibilities between individualisation and differentiation of education of the instructor's own 4th grade class, while looking at a particular example of two students in that class. The practical part finds solutions from this active research that is interpreted as a case study, and describes the process of individualisation and differentiation from the point of view of working with teaching devices.
Specificity of education for children from a children's home

1 ABSTRACT The diploma thesis, "Specifics of education of children from a children's home" has a theoretical and empirical character and it is focused on the education of primary school pupils who are placed in a children's home. The first, theoretical part, gathers expert knowledge related to the social and legal protection of children and selected cases where the rights of the child are not respected. It describes institutions operating in institutional and protective education, which are under control of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic. It captures the negative effects of institutional education on the child. In the context of inclusive education, it characterizes a pupil from an orphanage as an endangered child with special educational needs. The purpose of the theoretical part was to describe, on the basis of professional literature, the most common obstacles that a pupil from a children's home encounters (or may face) during education and what are their causes.
