Anxiety in ESL Teaching to Adult Students

This work deals with anxiety being involved in ESL teaching to adult students. Its causes and negative consequences are discussed. Its aim is to reveal whether anxiety is a real issue in ESL that should be acknowledged and if it is, what can be done in order to prevent it or at least identify it and be able to work with it. The theoretical part deals with the delimitation of the term anxiety and puts anxiety in the psychological and pedagogical context. The development of research in this area is described and the relevant findings are presented. Practical part consists of mixed research dealing with the extent to which anxiety impacts foreign language learning in the first part. The second part based on interviews with anxious learners brings into light the specific causes of foreign language classroom anxiety which allows the conclusions in the form of practical recommendations to be drawn for English teachers. The aim of the thesis is to create investment recommendations for the real estate investor. The thesis consists of theoretical and practical part. Secondary data from Czech and foreign sources are collected in the theoretical part. In the practical part, the research and analysis of real estate market is done for the real estate currently available for sale in Brno. At the same time, economic profitability is calculated wherever possible. Subsequently, the options are verbally evaluated.

Evaluation of selected Event

The thesis deals with the evaluation of the Summer Baroque Festival. The aim is to compare 2 of the 8 festival places, namely Plasy and Tachov, which were selected on the basis of a similar schedule and are compared from the point of view of the structure of the participants, marketing communication, motives for participation, the most interesting part of the festival and the reason for selecting the sites. It also determines the impact of the festival on these places, which is measured in terms of satisfaction and financial aspects. In the context of the issue, the literature was first studied, which dealt with basic concepts such as namely tourism, cultural tourism, events, and event marketing. In the end, the theory dealt with marketing communication. Research within the practical part is divided into two phases: written questioning of festival visitors and online survey of the general public. Based on the results suggestions and recommendations for the organizers are done to make effective use of promotional resources in the coming years and to make the festival attractive to other segments with regard to the current one.

Methods: To obtain the data were used qualitative research methods. It is a method of case study. Results: The team has a highly specialized organizational structure with high centralization and clearly defines the competencies of the emmployees. Applying of personality traits of headteacher in area of leadership

Final thesis describes to what extent the current school practice puts attention to personality qualities of headteacher in area of leadership. The topic is based on the experience, knowledge and abilities that use the present headmasters of elementary schools in practice. The aim of the work and selected combined investigation using methods of "shadowing" of structured and unstructured interviews and a questionnaire survey was to describe the extent to which personal qualities headteacher of elementary schools appear in contemporary educational practice in area of leadership. In the theoretical part, the author focused on gathering information from a wide resource that can provide a wider range of these areas (psychology, leadership, self-management, self-esteem, etc.). These were mainly the vocational literature on leadership, human personality and competencies. An important contribution was a personal meeting and interview with Mr. Prof. PhDr. Z. Helusem, DrSc. ABSTRACT This bachelor thesis examines the differences in dietary habits and preferences of high school students who stay in boarding schools during the school year compared to high school students who live at home with their parents. The students attending different types of high schools in the region of Olomouc are the target group of this research. Based on the results, which were obtained by a questionnaire survey in which 248 respondents were involved, it was found that the nutritional habits and preferences of both groups of adolescents differ in certain aspects. Simultaneously, however, it was found that there are not significant differences between the diets of these two observed groups of high school students which was assumed in the initial hypothesis. Adolescents' Perception of TV Show Product Placement

The aim of this thesis is to describe the attitude of Czech adolescent toward product placement (PP), a form of marketing communication in TV series. Having said that, the thesis describes the term "product placement", its definition, history, development as well as its various formats. Apart from that, product placement's efficiency, legislative regulation and its meaning in marketing communication are taken into consideration. Besides, the thesis also defines the interactions between adolescents and commercials, and it refers to adolescents as a specific target group within marketing environment. The empiric model of product placement, based on adolescents' answers, describes the attitude of 507 respondents towards this marketing technique. The examination shows how Czech adolescents perceive TV series' product placement and whether they notice this technique in the chosen media format, and if the commercial message has an impact on the target group. Based on the analysis of all answers, a recommendation of product placement for Czech market will be set. Thesis "Affiliate Marketing: introduction and current trends," aims to inform about the possibilities of using this marketing tool and demonstrates its high efficiency. It is divided into three main parts: theoretical (basic information about affiliate marketing), practical (Affiliate marketing practice) and exhaustive (known affiliate programs and aggregators). There is the emphasis at the beginning on explaining what makes the concept of commission sales on the Internet so unique and why its use is becoming increasingly popular. The most important part is focused on the practical use of affiliate marketing nowadays. It discusses its potential use in many ways (in terms of the operators, partners and other options). Those interested in affiliate marketing should be after reading this thesis better in orienting and selecting the most appropriate manner of its use. Přístup Bushovy administrativy k otázce iránského jaderného programu: od teorie k praxi

Iranian nuclear program has presented a problem for many years. Even though the regime in Tehran has not formally announced its quest to develop nuclear weapons and has actually denied such accusations, the international community concluded from the actions of the regime that the development of nuclear weapons is the ultimate goal of Tehran. The United States reacted to the course of events and tried to limit the program or stop it altogether. The Bush Administration was not an exception in this regard. Even though the attitude towards Iran changed during 2001 - 2009, the nuclear program progressed further and still presents a great danger. Not only politicians but also academics, experts and analytics were trying to answer the question how to curb the program most effectively. This thesis analyzes and compares concepts of scholars with the actual policy practiced by the Bush Administration and finds out that both approaches vary quite significantly. While the majority of scholars recommended the administration to limit the economic sanctions and refrain from aggressive rhetoric concerning the possibility of military action, the American government tightened the sanctions and sustained the option of intervention.
