Professional training of pre-service teachers of biology in the field of scientific skills

In many cases, understanding the nature and validity of information presented on the basis of scientific knowledge is essential for application in contemporary society. Similarly, in line with the rapidly developing fields of science, technology and engineering, it is necessary to have enough competent people prepared to work in these areas. Consequently, scientific skills appear to be an essential component of scientific literacy, the development of which is the focus of pupil education in many countries. Teachers' attitudes towards the importance of scientific skills play a crucial role in pupils' education, as perceptions of their importance are the starting point for conveying their relevance to pupils and subsequently for their development. It is also important that teachers feel competent enough to teach these skills. A prerequisite for this is that they receive good and sufficient preparation in teacher education. Benefit of additional education of SEN pupils

The Bachelor Work engages in students with special education needs (SEN). The aim of this work is to find out how these students are got ready for their future job, what advantages can be brought by having more vocational certificates and why the future education is required to students with SEN. This work is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is focused on students with SEN, possibilities of their education and a system of support. It also includes a brief profile of mental retardation, special education needs and ADHD. In the practical part there are several case studies made by quality research investigation. The case studies were based on a long-time observation and interviews with students, teachers and a special-education teacher. Analyses of the case studies and answers for research questions are placed in the conclusion of this work.
Transition programmes as an assisance for physically handicaped persons in transition from school to jobs

Title: Transition programmes as an assistance for physically handicaped person in transit from school to jobs Abstract: This diploma work engage problems of transition programme for people with physical handicape. It defines area of physical handicape, shows evolution of care for people with physical handicape and shows today's situation of comprehensive educational care and advisory system for person with physical handicape. It shows possibilities of social and labor integration with attentions to specific risks in life of person with physical handicape, especially unemployment. Fundamental part of this work describes transition programme, its principles and intentions and introduces realization of concrete example. Intention of this work is to find fields of frustration and find out whether transition programmes are focused on these fields to make their clients satisfied. That's why the exploration with the questionnaire was done. Its results show that the unemployment makes answerers unsatisfied the most. Because transition programmes are focused on searching for suitable jobs for their client, they should be support in it. But results show low education of answerers as well, but not dissatisfaction with this fact. To fortify chances to get suitable job clients should be more motivated to get higher...
Analysis of the concept of education Prison Service employees in the the Czech Republic

The presented dissertation focuses on the educational system o f the Czech Republic Prison service staff and on the proposal o f the new educational module called Penitentiary Pedagogy for special educationalists and trainers of the Prison Service o f the Czech Republic. This dissertation describes education, from compulsory entry education within the new staff Basic Preparation Entry program up to specialized courses in the Program o f Lifelong Education. These are established for all Prison service staff according to their official position. Currently the humanization trends are markedly preferred in the detention conception (including remand detention) within the Czech prison system. The inmate is treated not only according to the European Prison Rules principals, but also according to the professional ethic rules, human fairness and in particular access and use o f special pedagogy knowledge, special pedagogy diagnostics, forensic psychology and other related branches o f science. The staff must be excellently prepared to carry out their duties in such specific conditions in the prisons while complying with the above-mentioned new approach. Career counseling as a part of a general system of coanseling at High schools

Thesis Career Counseling, as a part of a general system of counseling at high schools, deals with diverse approaches towards professional preparation at high schools. Any help, with making a right decision of choosing a career or continuing in studies, is undoubtedly an important source for each person at high school and has been occupying this distinctive role in education. This thesis is trying to bring about the changing of the position of Career Counselor's within the school system, in a general system of counseling. The goal of this thesis is to cover the various subjects' conception of counselors at high schools and also trying to entitle their targets in connection with reality. At the end there will be given a description and clarification of three different high schools (each with different cultural and social-economic conditions) and their correspondences towards Career counseling in cooperation with the content analyses of the subjects' conceptions of Career counseling.
The teaching of foreign languages and the process of preparation of teachers of foreign languages in the period 1990-2012

This work focuses on changes in teaching foreign languages and on new requirements for education and training of foreign language teachers after 1989, including a brief survey of the history of foreign language teaching and the development of teacher training. It observes changes in the area of learning objectives, changes in the teacher - pupil relationship, changes in work methods. It deals with a new approach to the selection and use of teaching materials and the inclusion of new technologies in teaching. It discusses the implementation of both the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and the European Language Portfolio. The work presents in the form of interviews also personal experience with teaching foreign languages and possible ways to achieve the required qualification.

This thesis deals with professional preparation, evaluation of advantages and disadvantages of teaching profession, and professional perspectives. The aim of the work is a comprehensive study describing the professional preparation of future preschool teachers at the level of secondary and higher education, and the interpretation of data obtained by research. The thesis has a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part deals with the definition of basic concepts related to professional training, professional perspectives and teaching profession. The practical part is aimed at acquiring and interpreting attitudes, assessing the professional preparation and professional perspectives of pupils and students. A questionnaire was used to analyze the data obtained. Part of the work is also the interpretation of results, recommendations for practical training and overall conclusion. Transit programs implemented within a two-year practical school study

In my thesis I focused on the transition from school to work in people with mental disabilities. I describe the basic terminological definition of mental disability. Furthermore, the thesis describes the division and characteristics of individual levels of mental disability. This is followed by a description of the period of adolescence, which is closely related to this important shift in life, the vocational training of young people with mental disabilities, the transition from school to work itself and an important description of the transit program. The aim of the thesis is to focus on the course of work integration of people with mental disabilities. The target group therefore consists of those clients who are visiting the program now. The practical part of the thesis starts with stating the goals. In the following subchapters, the methodology chosen follows. According to an interview with employees and clients, I wrote the course of the transit program and focused on their benefit. I see the transit program as a specific program that has a valid place in open civil society.
