Teacher's authority by mental disability children

Diploma thesis deal with topic of teacher's authority, specifically by pupils with mild mental retardation. Authority is polysemous term so it is impossible to limit it only for one definition but it is necessary to look at it as a process which is formed in a long-term interaction - in this thesis namely between teachers and pupils. In the theoretical part I pay attention to the term authority in a historical and modern point of view and also contexts authority with phenomenons as for example media or discipline. Shortly I mention personality of pupils with mild mental retardation and teacher's personality. Attention is also paid to communication with pupils, solving problems at school and relationship teacher - pupil. In the practical part I condukt a survey of this phenomenon using qualitative method of halfstructured dialogues. In order to it could be objectively assessed perception of authority by pupils with mild mental retardation it is necessary to compare (their) results with pupils without mild mental retardation, with whom were led discussions too. The role of the primary school teacher in creating a school classroom climate and his/her impact on school success

This diploma thesis deals with the influence of the teacher's personality on the classroom climate and school success of pupils. The theoretical part deals with the three basic areas described in the individual chapters - the personality of the teacher, the classroom climate and its actors and components, and last but not least, school success. The topic of motivating pupils in teaching also corresponds to school success, especially at present. In the practical part, the thesis presents the results of qualitative research conducted in the third grade of primary school, which is very specific in its composition, the school itself includes a special program for exceptionally gifted students and currently also educates a large number of students with different mother tongue. In addition, students with specific learning disabilities also appear in the classroom. The three areas described in the theoretical part are mapped by the methods typical for qualitative research, participatory observation, through observation sheets of own production and inspired by scientific literature, and a semi-structured interview with the class teacher. Strategies for improving the class climate

The diploma thesis is divided into two parts. Practical part and theoretical part. The theoretical part is focused on the characteristics of the younger school age of pupils who are the subject of the practical part of the diploma thesis. Furthermore, the theoretical part deals with the personality of the teacher, who is one of the main co-creators of the class climate. Diagnostic tools are described here that are used to evaluate the climate of a given class. In the practical part, I use action research to verify which methods and forms of work have led to an improvement in the climate of my class. The Role of Teaching Practice in Development of Student of the Teachers Training for Primary School

The diploma thesis named Pedagogical practices and their tasks for primary school teachers' development deals with the topic of the pedagogical practices at colleges and universities. The thesis finds out the extent of students' being ready for carrying the practice out. The following task of the thesis is to describe what the students and beginner teachers think about the practice. The theoretical part is aimed at the pedagogical practice process and its connection with the primary teachers' education. Important part of the thesis is to compare the time extent of the practice at different colleges and universities. The practical part works with the qualitative research. The used methods for this part are questionnaire and interview. The pedagogical faculty students describe their experience with the pedagogical practices. The beginner teachers evaluate the level of the practices. Teacher professions from the point of view of pupils, parents and of teacher selected primary school

This diploma thesis brings information about the perception of the teaching profession by secondary school students, their parents, and teachers of a selected primary school. The aim of the work is to find out with the help of questionnaires, how pupils and their parents subjectively see and perceive teachers and how the teachers who teach pupils themselves see their profession as a teacher. In the theoretical part, I deal with the historical development of education and the teaching profession in our territory. I also deal with the characteristics of the teaching profession by clarifying the very concept, personality traits, and typology of the teacher's personality. This section also includes chapters on the competence of the teacher, his authority and motivation to choose the teaching profession. In the last part, I deal with the current form of the teaching profession in primary school, the requirements for the profession, and including selected problems of our education. In the practical part, I used a questionnaire survey to evaluate the data obtained by individual respondents among students, parents, and teachers and then I analyzed the data of individual groups of respondents and drew a conclusion. Combining moral, character and social education with multicultural education in a realization of a project focusing on Romany people

This thesis deals with the problems concerning cross-curricular subjects, in particular focusing on Multicultural Education and Moral, Character and Social Education, their defining in the Framework Education Programme for Elementary Education. Furthermore, it outlines the possibility of their interconnection in a concrete project with the topic of Romany. This thesis is based on the conviction of the importance of the transcultural approach to the Multicultural education in practise. It also deals with the character of a teacher mainly in the relation to the above mentioned cross-curricular subjects. The main objective of this thesis is the actual realisation of the project in two selected schools. The project has already been put forward in my bachelor thesis. I committed myself there to the realisation of the project in practise and for that purpose the project itself had to be adjusted, namely shortened due to its time demandingness. The actual evaluation of the project is also a part of the practical section of this thesis.
How to use drama elements in music education with preschool children

This Bachelor thesis focuses on the effective acquisition of musical and content features of a song in pre-school children. This thesis aims to prove that it is possible to reach easier acquisition of a song and primarily the natural comprehension of its meaning by the use of selected methods of drama education, in connection with vocal and music education. In the introduction chapters, the thesis deals with brief characteristics of a pre-school child and the personal and professional prerequisites of a teacher in relation to managing drama and music education in pre-school children. The chapter is focused on musical abilities of children, and further on the meaning of vocal education and least but not last, on the methods of drama education used in the practical part of this thesis. The last chapter deals with the methodology of the structure of a drama lesson, focused on the acquisition of a song in a kindergarten. The practical part contains the examples of use of drama education for the purpose of the acquisition of a song applied in practice. Further, the success of applied lessons is compared in a questionnaire. Analysis of a beginning teacher and his common problems in an educational process

Thesis "Beginning teacher - analysis of his personality, work and the most common problems in his work" deals with the personality of a beginning teacher, mentions the most common problems in his work and tries to find ideas for improving the situation. As the same times in analyses the selected components of his personality, which usually participates the lack of attention, especially in preparing future teachers, and which usually not mentioned in proper context. It focuses primary on the professional competence of teachers in relation to the student's core competencies as well as in other contexts. It also discusses the role of novice teachers in the context of the transformation of the Czech education system and also in the context of the Lisbon process. Analyses of key documents are included too. Great attention is paid to think about the different problematic areas concerning the work of novices teachers. In this context, the author focuses on the matter of authority and educational styles. It is based not only on the special literature but also on the sound, which took the form of numerous interview, surveys, questionnaires and observation. Symptoms, Causes and Overcoming Burnout among Teaching Staff

This thesis deals with burnout among teaching staff, its symptoms, causes and possibilities of overcoming. The theoretical part describes the teaching profes- sion and shows its strenuousness. It also focuses on the personality of teachers and their ethical principles. It describes the required core competencies of tea- chers and, equally important, the need for professional self-realization, which, if fulfilled, can help prevent burnout. The author analyzes the symptomatology of burnout syndrome, its causes, risk factors, stages and ways of prevention. The practical part examines the main factors influencing teachers' professional fulfillment, their place on an imaginary scale of personal preferences, and if the teachers perceived them negatively or positively. It also tries to determine whether there is a link between the professional and personal satisfaction of teachers as a possible prevention of burnout.
