How Educators of a Selected Elementary School Perceive Their Work in Respect to Their Former Ideals?

The diploma thesis deals with the question of how different pedagogical staff (teachers, school club educators, and teaching assistants) of a selected primary school perceive and experience their work in contrast with the ideas they had about the pedagogical profession. The core of the thesis is qualitative research (interviews with eleven respondents). The introduction presents the researcher's personal view of the subject before carrying out the research. The methodology and the course of the research are described in more detail in the second chapter. Next, the research findings are presented. The following topics were identified in the respondents' narrative: the feeling of lack of preparedness, (non)sharing of materials and aids, attitudes towards parents, colleagues and pupils.

Dotazníkové šetření odhaluje silné a slabé stránky týkající se spokojenosti zaměstnanců a charakteristických rysů jejich práce. Navržené kroky na zlepšení poskytují možnost jak v budoucnu dosáhnout větší efektivity v oblasti řízení lidského kapitálu.
Position of the assistant teacher in distance learning for pupils with special educational needs at elementary school

The topic of this diploma thesis is the position of teaching assistant at elementary school during distance learning through the covid-19 pandemic. The thesis is describing the role of a teaching assistant in distance learning at pupils with special educational needs at elementary school. The aim of the thesis is a research project which is focusing on the position of teaching assistant for pupils with special educational needs during distance learning. The diploma thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part consists three main chapters. In the first chapter is describing support pupils with special educational needs in education. This chapter is also focused on legislation and inclusive support, advisory services, support measures and options of education and pupils with special educational needs. The second chapter is called Assistant the pedagogue and his role in education. This part has four subsections. The first subsection is about defining teaching assistant, his qualifications, didactic methods and forms and assistant's cooperation with the students, parents and the pedagogues. The role of assistant teacher at the first level of primary schools

The diploma thesis deals with the topic of the role of a teacher's assistant in teaching at the 1st grade of primary schools. The theoretical part defines the basic concepts related to the issue of assistantship, namely integration and inclusion. It is very important to mention these concepts, as they are an integral part of this topic and are necessary for understanding the meaning of the assistant's work. The next chapter deals directly with the topic of assistantship. The practical part is based on a qualitative method, namely an interview. The aim is to find out from individual interviews what opinion teachers and pedagogical assistants themselves have on the given issue. What is their real role in practice and what is their job description. Also interesting from the point of view of research is the cooperation and communication between two adults who participate in the educational process together. The practical part presents the results based on 16 interviews with teaching assistants and primary school teachers. At the same time, one's own experience with the position of a teacher's assistant is interpreted here.
Role of social worker in a hospital

The diploma thesis is focused on the main activities of the social workers at the hospitals in Prague, the regional hospitals, and one former district hospital. Within the theoretical section of the abstract there are clearly defined fundamental concepts of social work in health care and its historical transformation. The chapters consist of four sections: ethics code, the quality of social work at the hospital, valid legislation, as well as interdisciplinary collaboration within the hospital. The theoretical part focuses on job description, competencies, skills or personality characteristics of the social worker in the hospital. The last section describes social work in the hospitals by different target groups with whom the social workers can come into contact. The empirical part of this diploma thesis is acquired by the semistructured interviews. The main research question tries to find out the role of the social worker at the hospital. Responsibilities of a form master at a contemporary lower secondary school

The diploma thesis deals with the definition of the responsibilities of a form master at a lower secondary school. The aim is to describe which activities should constitute the responsibilities of a form master at a lower secondary school, which activities form masters actually carry out, how their responsibilities are defined, and the way the form masters are informed about what they are expected to do. The theoretical part provides an overview of what can be found about form masters' work and their responsibilities in the specialized literature. In the practical part, documents issued by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports and the Czech School Inspectorate were scrutinised using the method document analysis. The analysis has shown that these documents do not contain any lucid definition of a form master and nor do they provide any list of their responsibilities. The second research method used in this thesis is a structured interview with four form masters working at different lower secondary schools. The nurse's work in the surgery of practitioner for children and adolescents

This bachalor dissertation is engaged in job description of a position of nurse in general practitio-ner´s office for children and youth. With a view to ascertain nurse´s job description several nurses were addressed and their opinions were accounted. This work also reflects mothers´ satisfactionwith the nurse working in general practitioner´s office. The theoretical part of this work is oriented on historical development of pediatry, education of nurses to the present days, communication with child, and job description of a nurse in general practitioner´s office. It is also engaged in roles which nurse meets during her working day. Two aims form the empiric part: to ascertain the job description of nurse, and to ascertain mother´s satisfaction with nurse´ s work. Technic of semistructural interview was chosen. Informations were processed in pen-paper method and with the help of open coding were divided into certain subcathegories. Sixteen cathegories were created altogether. In the first part of research work with nurses nine cathegories were created and in the second part of research with mothers seven cathegories were created. This work helps to build up an image of job description of nurse in general practitional´s office for children and youth. It also helps to show all the roles which are nurse´s duties. More than that, it gives evidence not only about nurses´ satisfaction but even about satisfaction of mothers and children.
