Sissak, Jiří ; Kursch, Martin (advisor) ; Krámský, David (referee)
This thesis explores the content and position of ethics in the digital literacy of secondary school teachers. Ethics plays a very important role in the overall adult literacy in the 21st century. Ethics is an essential part of the everyday life of a secondary school teacher, not only in online teaching conducted through digital technologies with social networking elements, but also in working with the information (data) that they encounter in the course of their job duties and in their daily lives The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on ethics in relation to digital literacy and the digital world. It analyses the notion of digital as such and, on its basis, the andragogical view of ethics and digital literacy. It defines the concepts of digital ethics and digital literacy in all interactions, both in a historical context in relation to the development of digital technologies and in relation to the digital identities of the contemporary citizen. The thesis explores the new concept of "digital identities-domains" in terms of the emergence of information (data) about the individual and the interaction of the individual with the digital world through digital identities. Diagnostic of preschool children early literacy
Seydlová, Marie ; Klenková, Jiřina (advisor) ; Horynová, Jana (referee)
This diploma thesis is especially pedagogical oriented, it is focused on matters of speech therapy. In theoretical part, there are described issues of intact speech development and language skills of children, and also early literacy and malfunction of communication skills of pre-school children. This work is comparing two types of pre-school education. One of them is classic pre-school, the second one is alternative Montessori pre-school. Empirical part was realized with MABEL test battery. MABEL is diagnostic battery for evaluation of early literacy and skills for development of early literacy. There were used tests of elision and isolation of phones, fast naming of colours and pictures, writing of easy words and phones composing. Research survey was placed in two pre-schools. Respondents were early aged children, who attend these schools. The main objective of this work was to find and compare early literacy of pre-school children. The results were compared to standards from diagnostic battery and they showed, that Montessori respondents got slightly higher score in comparison to children of classic pre-school. However, results are little bit disorted, because of low number of total respondents.

Mališová, Iva ; Miessler, Jan (advisor) ; Wolák, Radim (referee)
Thesis "Critical thinking of high school students - the method of verification of the news" focuses on the analysis of the media literacy of Czech high school students. The aim of the work was to find out how students validate information and whether they do so at all. I also focused on their critical thinking of the news and if they are able to recognize misinformation. I divided this thesis into two parts - theoretical part and the analysis. In the theoretical part, I focused on media concepts, issues of the digital media era and the inclusion of media education in the curriculum. I divided the research into two parts - quantitative and qualitative. In the first part of the research, I sent a questionnaire to the students from various high schools. I got 339 responses. Then I went deeper into the topic and did individual interviews with a sample of 11 students. The results of the questionnaire survey revealed that students are able to work with various sources of information, in most of them verify reports, and almost all can recognize misinformation. Due to the already conducted research of media literacy in the Czech Republic, I did not expect this positive result. However, in individual interviews in which I treated the respondents more in depth, the weaknesses of their media education became...
