Recruitment agencies and their activities seen by job applicants

This thesis deals with the most common HR service which is usually outsourced - recruitment agencies. The first, theoretical part is to introduce the agenda and it consists of several chapters: outsourcing in HR (what do companies outsource and why), and furthermore recruiting agencies (what kind of agencies can be found in the Czech republic, their legal background, what kind of services do they offer), how can these agencies help agencies and job applicants, their pros and cons. The second part, which is based on interviews with job applicants, describes how people perceive recruitment agencies - what do they expect, what are their experiences, whether they use the service that agencies offer, what are their opinion about recruitment consultants etc. The research concludes with several suggestions for job applicants and for recruitment consultants. Job interview

The first part, theory, begins with job analysis. Then searching for applicants and selection of the employees follows. The key topic of the study is focused on the most frequent method of the employee selection - job interview. The advantages of this method are the possibility to assess the applicant's personality more thoroughly and also to check and supplement the information gained by other selection methods. On the other hand some of the disadvantages are the tendency to subjective assessment and the fact that the interview is comparatively time-consuming. In any case the job interview should be also done according to the ethic principles. There are a lot of types of the interview. Interviews differ for example by structure, by the number of applicants or by the formulation and purpose of the questions used during the interview. Each interview consists of the three following parts: preparation, course and evaluation. The practice reveals that the selection process is influenced not only by the setting of the personnel processes but also by the personal approach and expertise of the evaluators. Non-verbal communication as one of the criteria for taking on pedagogical staff

6 ABSTRACT: Knowledge of individual elements of non-verbal communication is of great contribution for verifying submitted information, opening possibilities to view personal characteristics of given individuals. These pieces of knowledge can be successfully used during job interviews for pre-school institutions. This is one of the criteria, which can help discover desired qualities of future teachers, which are necessary for good work simultaneously helping to discover undesirable and problematic qualities. This thesis aims at detecting which features of non-verbal communication are most preferred by headmasters of pre-school institutions in the process of talking on new teachers. Instructions, created on the basis of the questionnaire evaluation and personal interviews, explain the most significant elements of non-verbal communication. These instructions can be used to help during job interviews. Nonverbal communication during the job interview

The theme of this thesis in nonverbal communication during the job interview. The work is divided into two main parts. The theoretical part focuses on the description of the basic types of nonverbal means, embedding them in a particular situation - for job interviews and the differences in the use of nonverbal means for women and men. In the practical part are described and evaluated the questionnaires. On it's basis it was established the role of nonverbal communication in job acquiring, nonverbal communication differences between men and women and its impact on communication interaction. In the end of this theses the research results are compared with theoretical base.
Discrimination against women between the 20 to 30 years of their age when they are trying to find a job on the labor market in the Czech Republic between the years 2015 and 2016

The thesis deals with discrimination against women between the 20 to 30 years of their age when they are trying to find a job on the labor market. The aim of this paper is to determine whether there is some violation of women´s rights through requesting information unrelated to work performance. If so, what effect does such discriminatory conduct to obtain employment. The main task is to confirm or reject the hypothesis, which says: women who are subjected to discriminatory questions during the job interview are less successful in getting a job than women who are not discriminated. Necessary data are collected through quantitative sociological research, which examines the experiences of female respondents participating in job interviews in the Czech Republic between the years 2015 and 2016. The results are compared to other gender statistics. Other partial objectives are to approach gender strategy in the Operational Programme Employment 2014-2020, unequal pay and approach the problem of reconciling work and private life. The result is a confirmation of the hypothesis and also I find ratio discriminated women who were mostly asked discriminatory questions about their personal status and planned pregnancy.

Importance of Non-verbal Communication in the Company

This thesis is dedicated to the importance of non-verbal communication in the company. Non-verbal communication is used constantly and usually unconsciously. This type of communication is affected by these factors: culture, age, gender and character. The work focuses on all fields of non-verbal communication and analyzes what is essential for a job interview, meeting or meeting with client. This work determines the type of corporate culture and finds out what impression the company employees give to the clients. Mistakes which employees make during the communication in the company are mentioned. The main aim of this thesis is to assess how the manager use their communication skills and describe the communication process between empolyeeses. The research is carried out by means of a questionnaire, observation and interview with the personnel manager.
Recruitment of the workers to a company

The bachelor thesis is dealing with recruitment of the workers to a company. The main aim is to describe, characterize, analyze and assess process of recruitment as a whole. This thesis is divided into four chapters. The first two chapters are theoretical ones and the third and four chapters represent a practical part. The first chapter includes human resources activities, the second one focuses on job advertisement, job description and job requirements, recruitment process and process of selection including methods of recruitment and methods of selection process. The third part describes recruitment process that is applied in a real company. The last chapter is my assessment and recommendation for the company on the basis of gained theoretical knowledge and my findings.
Nonverbal communication and its use in the organization

This thesis deals with the use of nonverbal communication in the organization. The aim is to assess the importance of nonverbal communication in employment relations in the organization, particularly at the time of recruitment and business meetings. The methodology of obtaining empirical information was based on descriptions of nonverbal communication by various authors in publications devoted to practice nonverbal communication. In this thesis was made a comparison of descriptions of different authors and were evaluated similarities and differences between them.
