Junková, Lucie
The bachelor thesis deals with the topics of career coaching and consulting focused on high school students in the Czech Republic. The main aspects of the thesis are the mentioned terms, which are described in relation to the framework programs of high schools, then the theoretical basis of coaching and career consulting related to the topics of motivation and indecision are presented. The aim of the thesis is to draft a methodological framework including the topics of career coaching and consulting as support for young people in their entry into the labour market. This draft was tested with a pilot group of students. A questionnaire survey was constructed from the information obtained from the methodological procedure. The data set was then analysed using statistical tools. The structured interviews reflected the results from the questionnaire survey, where certain issues were explored in more depth. The results provide a source of recommendations and suggestions for discussion related to the entry of high school graduates into the labour market.

Libová, Gabriela ; Stracený, Josef (advisor) ; Fapšo, Marek (referee)
The main goal of the work was to find out what attitude students of high schools in Prague have towards political events in the Czech Republic. In the theoretical part, I focused, among other things, on questionnaire surveys processed by the organization Jeden svět na školách and on the image of the young generation portrayed in the media. I suggested several options for making the classes of political science more attractive and better motivate students to be interested in the topic. In the practical part, I used the questionnaire method and compared the obtained data with my hypotheses. Other methods were analysis, and comparison of sources and obtained data.

Pospíšilová, Tereza ; Zavadilová, Tereza (advisor) ; Koudelková, Petra (referee)
The bachelor thesis "Communication of Pope Francis from the Perspective of High School Students" aims to map the view of selected religious high school students on the communication of Pope Francis and the Catholic Church as such. In particular, the research focuses on the way young people perceive the Pope's communication, whether they perceive differences between Pope Francis' communication and the communication of the Catholic Church, and whether the topics Pope Francis emphasizes in his communication are important for today's young generation. The analysis of the data collected from the interviews is conducted through open coding. The analytical part of the thesis is preceded by a theoretical introduction to the current state of the Catholic Church as well as an insight into the history of the papacy and its role in society. The theoretical part also discusses church communication in general, describing the tools it uses and the target groups the church focuses on today. Finally, a brief biography of Pope Francis and the form of communication used during his pontificate is also described here.
The Knowledge and Attitudes of High School Students as Future Car Drivers of Vehicles about Collisions with Large Mammals in the Czech Republic
Tábořík, Lukáš ; Andreska, Jan (advisor) ; Hanel, Lubomír (referee)
The diploma thesis deals with the knowledge and attitudes of secondary school students as future drivers towards motor vehicle collisions with larger mammals in the Czech Republic. Collisions with forest wildlife is topical and important, both for nature and for the safety of future and current drivers. Paying attention to this issue in the teaching of science, biology or health education is considered by the author to be essential for the future safety of students. This thesis examines the knowledge and attitudes of students in two schools. One of these schools are the gymnasium, secondary vocational school and primary school (EDUCAnet) Prague and the other is the gymnasium and secondary vocational school of economics (GaSOŠE) Sedlčany. The research instrument chosen is a questionnaire created by the author for the purpose of this thesis. The results are obtained and interpreted from 192 students. After the evaluation of the questionnaire survey, we know that the students have quite a fair knowledge of the means against running into animals on the road and they are aware of the consequences of high-speed driving on the impacts of a collision with wildlife. Based on the results of the survey, gaps in knowledge, accident prevention and drivers' reactions to imminent danger are identified....

Cooking trend at home plays an important role, even when talking about boom in eating at restaurants and fast foods. Regardless of household income, students are used to really eat most often at home (breakfast and dinner) and at school (lunch). As for eating habits, respondents, from the vast majority, do not pay any attention to this process. And even if the results of the research showed that a large majority of students think they eat healthily, then less than half of them is not satisfied with own weight. Household income therefore has no significant effect on the eating habits in selected high school students. According to the...

Title: Experiments supporting the teaching of thermodynamics at high school level Author: Petr Kácovský Department: Department of Physics Education Supervisor: doc. RNDr. Zdeněk Drozd, Ph.D., Department of Physics Education Abstract: This doctoral thesis is aimed at chosen aspects of teaching of thermodynamics on high school. The thesis can be divided into two main parts: The research part deals with investigation of typical students' conceptual difficulties in the field of thermal phenomena and its primary goal is to identify the most distinctive misconceptions of observed population. More than 500 students were questioned using a conceptual test both as pretest and posttest; approximately half of them also participated in the retention test which took part two years after pretest. The results of the conceptual test are connected with data obtained on the basis of the simultaneously conducted research of students' attitudes. The developmental part of the thesis - partly inspired by previous misconception research - deals with arranging, documentation and testing of experiments relevant to teaching of thermodynamics. In total, 46 experiments were arranged, students-tested and published in the electronic Collection of Physics Experiments. These experiments are primarily intended for teachers as inspiration...
