Tylš Adámková, Jana ; Soukupová, Tereza (advisor) ; Sotáková, Hana (referee) ; Preiss, Marek (referee)
The main topic of this dissertation is the usage of apperception techniques in diagnosing children aged 6 to 7 years, with an emphasis on the practice of School Psychology. The theoretical part focuses primarily on psychological diagnosis in School Psychology with the emphasis on apperception techniques, their benefits, and downfalls. The other focus is on the Thematic Apperception Test and Roberts-2, as well as selected assessment systems. The practical part is introduced by the research methodology. Both diagnostic methods were administered to 30 children aged 6 to 7 years, whose responses were assessed using standardized systems, and subsequently compared both quantitatively and qualitatively. The main finding is that the stories evoked by Roberts-2 cards exceeds the stories evoked by TAT cards in developmental quality, the latter of which the children find too overloading to produce an optimal reaction, with varied results in their adaptability. The dissertation also presents the specifics of administering these methods to children. Based on the data derived from 50 children, the Czech norms for Roberts-2 method for children aged 6 to 7 were created in their working stage, and than compared with the original American norms.
The influence of computer games on the behavior of primary school students
VALIČEK, Tomáš
The main aim of the bachelor thesis is to map children's experiences with playing computer games in selected primary schools at the local level. In order to complete the bachelor thesis, a study of literature and all the information available on the subject was required. The thesis is divided into two parts. One of the objectives of the theoretical part of the thesis is to explain the basic concepts related to computer games and to present their history. A sub-objective is to interpret, with the help of expert sources, studies and research investigations, whether playing computer games can have any effect on the development of children and adolescents. The main objective of this part of the thesis is to gather enough information to be able to assess whether the negative effects of gaming outweigh the positive ones. An equally important topic that I address in the theoretical part of the thesis is a glance at how violent content in games can be perceived by children and how it can be reduced or categorised. The goal of the practical part of the bachelor thesis is to check whether the theoretical knowledge corresponds to the reality in the first and second-grade pupils of two primary schools. The main ambition of the practical part of the thesis is to find out what feelings, changes and behavioural manifestations the pupils themselves report in connection with gaming. It investigates whether they acknowledge that violent computer games might possibly impact the development of violence towards their environment, and whether they feel their parents' control and supervision over the content of computer games. A sub-objective is to find out how much time they spend playing, at what age they start playing and what game genres they find most interesting. The results of the investigation serve as an overview of how children themselves evaluate computer gaming.

Poor posture in school-age children and possibilities of physiotherapeutical influence
NOVOTNÁ, Dominika
This bachelor's thesis deals with poor posture of school-age children and the possibilities of physiotherapeutic influence. Poor posture is becoming more and more topical and number of children with poor posture is increasing. One of the most common causes is the inappropriate lifestyle of today's children, when children spend most of the day sitting at school and then at home at the computer or television. The bachelor thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals with the anatomy of the musculoskeletal system, more precisely the spine, pelvis and legs. The next chapter describes correct and defective posture, how defective posture can be investigated and factors influencing poor posture. The last chapter of the theoretical part contains the characteristics of school age. The main goal of this bachelor's thesis is to design our own exercise unit for school-age children with poor posture, which is then used for exercise with three probands with poor posture. This exercise unit was processed into an educational brochure and attached to the bachelor's thesis. A partial goal of the work is the analysis of the most common causes of poor posture of children and another partial goal is to propose prevention of this problem. The practical part was carried out in the form of qualitative research. The research includes three school-age probands with whom the therapy was done according to my proposed exercise unit. The practical part contains anamnesis, initial kinesiological analysis and descriptions of individual therapies. The therapies took place from the beginning of February 2020 to the middle of April 2020, when a joint therapy took place every week and the rest of the week the probands had to train at home according to the exercise brochure and exercises they learned on the therapy. All patients have improved, so research shows that therapy for children with poor posture is beneficial, but probands must continue the learned exercise to improve their posture significantly. This work can be used as an educational material for children and parents, or in the clinical practice of physiotherapists.

Education of school-aged children to a healthy lifestyle
DROBERJAROVÁ, Pavla
Current situation: A healthy lifestyle at children and education about it are currently very important. Failure to do so often leads to various health problems. In the theoretical part, we focus on the division of school age, the concept of health literacy and health determinants. We also deal with the role of a nurse at a general practitioner for children and adolescents and education in the field of a HL. Objectives: 1. To find out the knowledge of school children about a HL. 2. To map the active participation of school-age children in a HL. 3. To map the share of nurses in GPChA in the education of a HL in school-age children. Methodology: Within the research part, a quantitative research survey was performed using non-standardized questionnaires and a qualitative research method was used semi-structured in-depth interviews. The questionnaires were designed for 2 groups of school-age children (younger and older), where 23 research questions were used. Interviews were conducted with nurses at the GPChA, who answered 21 questions. The research was done with children aged from 8 to 15 and nurses at GPChA in the Vysočina region. Research group: It consisted of 120 children (from 8 to 15 years) and 8 nurses in GPChA offices. Results: Research has shown that children's knowledge of a HL does not differ with age. The active participation of children in a HL differs between girls and boys. It showed that nurses at the GPChA participate very in children's raising to the HL. Thanks to frequent interviews of nurses with children and their parents, this situation can improve. Recommendations for practice: The results of the survey can be used for nurses working in the paediatrics ward, in GPChA offices, for children and their parents or pedagogical staff.
