Anthropology of autism - is autistic behavior a suitable model for the evolution of the symbolic behavior of anatomically modern humans?
Babuská, Anna ; Brůžek, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Blažek, Vladimír (referee)
My bachelor thesis is trying to answer the question inspired by articles on autism as a precursor of modern behavior and by articles evaluating the possibility of autists being authors of palaeolithic parietal art. The work presents information about parietal art and about autism, and leads to the conclusion that autists influenced modern human behavior during its evolution, and they could be authors of some paintings or sets of paintings of parietal art.
