Narození dítěte s těžkým postižením změní dosavadní život celé rodiny v mnoha oblastech. Tématem práce je především, jakým způsobem se rodiče vyrovnávají se samotným faktem postižení jejich dítěte, v jakých oblastech rodinného života pociťují největší dopady, do jaké míry postižení ovlivní jejich výchovné přístupy k dítěti, co usnadňuje zvládání zátěže spojené s péčí o dítě s postižením, jakou roli hraje sociální okolí. Práce je zaměřena na vývoj a výchovu dítěte s postižením v rodině a specifika výchovy dítěte s poruchou autistického spektra, konkrétně s Aspergerovým syndromem. Práce popisuje celý proces vyrovnávání se jednotlivých členů rodiny s danou diagnózou, od prvních reakcí na ni, přes změny v jejich každodenním životě až po vyrovnávání se s tímto faktem. Birth of a child with heavy disabilities changes the current life of the whole family in many ways. This work focuses primarily on how the parents cope with the very fact of their child's disability, in what areas of family life they feel the greatest impact, the extent to which the disability affects child rearing practices, what facilitates the management burden associated with caring for a child with disabilities, and what role social environment plays. This work deal with issues of birth of a child with disabilities and ways of coping with this burden by parents and family. I focus on the development and education of children with disabilities in the family and the specifics of education of a child with Autism, specifically of Asperger syndrome. The aim is to show the whole process in which individual family members deal with the diagnosis, from the first reaction to it, changes in their daily lives to coming to terms with this fact.
