HR marketing in the non-profit sector - a case study of Med Students FOR Vaccination

This thesis HR Marketing in the Non-profit Sector - A Case Study of Med Students FOR Vaccination focuses on HR marketing in the non-profit sector, within the specific non-profit organisation Medici PRO Očkování (Med Students FOR Vaccination). Its aim is to find out how internal and external HR marketing of Med Students FOR Vaccination was perceived from the perspective of its former members and thus, through a combination of theoretical framework and practical research, to offer concrete recommendations for improving current practices and strategies and a comprehensive view of how HR marketing in the non-profit sector can help. The theoretical part of the thesis describes non-profit organisations, volunteering, volunteers and their motivations, and HR marketing, its divisions and its possible tools. In the practical part of the research a qualitative method of semi-structured in-depth interviews is used for data collection. Open coding is then used to analyse the data. The research results indicate that the areas of recruitment and orientation and care and support of volunteers are the least positively evaluated by respondents in the HR marketing of the organisation. The diploma thesis deals with the management of human resources and examines various aspects of personnel activities and approaches within a business company. The first part of the thesis is devoted to the theoretical foundations, which are specifically adapted and defined in the context of the selected topic. In the second part, a detailed analysis of human resources management in a specific business company is presented, which includes both quantitative and qualitative evaluation of existing personnel processes. The final part of the work contains the formulation of specific proposals and recommendations intended for the improvement of personnel management in the selected company. These proposals are based on a combination of practical findings and theoretical knowledge, and are designed to reflect and respond to current needs and the state of society. Overall, the diploma thesis is structured in such a way as to provide a comprehensive view of the issue of human resource management and to bring effective solutions for its improvement.

The diploma thesis is focused on the area of human resource management in the company, the theoretical background of the thesis describes human resource management, personnel activities, employee satisfaction and risk analysis. In the problem analysis, a selected company is examined, a survey of employee satisfaction with human resource management, SWOT analysis and risk analysis are conducted. In the design section, recommendations are proposed for the selected company based on the information found. These recommendations include increasing wages, implementing loyalty rewards, implementing sick days, increasing the Christmas contribution, setting lower bonuses for new employees, informing employees about benefits, setting up regular meetings between executives and manager, and taking advantage of digital recruiment opportunities.

This thesis examines the current state of employee satisfaction in a small business in relation to human resource management. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on definitions and explanations of key concepts such as work motivation, job satisfaction, engagement and dedication, which are necessary to understand the context of the issue. The analytical part of the thesis presents the results of a qualitative research conducted through interviews with employees to examine their satisfaction with their current management. Finally, based on the analysis of the interviews, the thesis provides specific recommendations for the company management on how to improve the working environment and increase employee satisfaction in the form of recommendations for possible changes and improvements in the current personnel management system.
Application of Dunningova-Kruger effect in interviewing and hiring

The aim of this work is to use the Dunning-Kruger effect, a cognitive bias in which individuals with limited expertise tend to overestimate their abilities, as a skill assessment tool in employee selection. The theoretical section examines and explains the Dunning-Kruger effect, discusses the original study, and provides additional examples of the Dunning-Kruger effect from other studies. It also delineates the theory related to personnel issues. In the practical section, specific areas of testing are researched, and an experiment is conducted on students who are given tests to determine their ability to correctly assess their knowledge and skills in the areas of social intelligence, English language, and logical reasoning. Based on the results, the difference between their performance on the tests and their self-assessment is examined. In the discussion and conclusion, the results are interpreted and recommendations are proposed to personnel managers. The findings show that the effect is most pronounced when estimating ability of social intelligence and English. Self-assessment of logic skills proved to be the most reliable.

The aim of my diploma thesis is to design changes in motivation system of selected company, which is based on analysis of the current motivation system. There is a theoretical background of given issue in theoretical part. The practical part is focused on the analysis and evaluation of the motivation system of the company. One part of the analysis is also questionnaire. In conclusion of the thesis are developed designs of the changes of non-financial benefits based on data collection, which lead to increase the employee satisfaction.

Dotazníkové šetření odhaluje silné a slabé stránky týkající se spokojenosti zaměstnanců a charakteristických rysů jejich práce. Navržené kroky na zlepšení poskytují možnost jak v budoucnu dosáhnout větší efektivity v oblasti řízení lidského kapitálu.
