Current practice in reeducation of specific learning disabilities of pupils at primary schools in Kutna Hora

This diploma thesis deals with the issue of reeducation of specific learning disorders of pupils at elementary schools in Kutná Hora district. The goal of this paper is to gain insight into contemporary practice in SLD reeducation, more specifically to find out whose job it is to provide reeducation, what their qualification is, and how they are further educated on this issue. Another goal is to find out how reeducation is carried out at selected schools, what study materials and aids are used, and this paper will also attempt to compare the quality of special pedagogical care at urban and village schools. The paper is divided into two parts, theoretical and research part. Theoretical part is dedicated to specific learning disorders, especially general characteristics of specific learning disorders, diagnostics, reeducation, and also education and care of children with SLD. Research part then deals with research survey at selected schools with the usage of qualitative method.
Use of the Test of Visual Perception in Dynamic Assessment

The subject of this thesis "Possibilities of a visual perception test within dynamic diagnos- tics" is to find out how is it possible to work with preschool children by dynamically ori- ented approach with Visual perception test. The thesis contains theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is focused on explaining the foundations of dynamic diagnostics, development of children's visual perception and the possibilities of its diagnosis in the pre- school age. In the empirical part of the work are through case studies presented individual cases of children with whom research investigation was realised. The conclusion summa- ries the recommendations for the intervention phase of dynamic diagnostics using Visual perception test. Data were collected using participant observation, interviews with the chil- dren, product analysis and by standardised test.
Specificity of education social disadvantaged child

TITLE: Specificity of education social disadvantaged child SUMMARY: This thesis deals with familiarity and experience of teachers and the principal of special education stream with the integration of socially disadvantaged pupils. The work deals with the reputation of so-called "Common Education" in the professional community of teachers, special education teachers and other educational staff. It also deals with experienced teachers with the integration of these pupils. It also dedicates level of awareness about who is a disciple of underprivileged knowledge and methods that can help this integration. Finally, the work deals with the familiarity of an amendment to the Education Act no. 82/2015 and knowledge of individual impacts on working with the student. Furthermore, the work deals with the degree of acceptance of compulsory attendance in the final year of nursery school and the abolition of preparatory classes. Also, the work deals with the possibilities that offers teachers plan educational support. Role of Preparatory Class in the Intervention for Specific Learning disabilities

The aim of the thesis "Role of preparatory classes in prevention of specific learning disabilities" is to compare intervention of kindergarten and elementary school preparratory classes during suspension of school attendance. It describes all the kinds of specific learning disabilities. It works out in detail diagnostics of specific learning disabilities risk factors from the special education perspective. It offers integral methodology for time undemanding orientational testing of specific learning disabilities risk factors for preschool children. This methodology was used for testing children with suspended school attendance at the start of a school year and in A March of the same school year. Assessment and Development of Visual Perception in Preschool Children

Thesis Assessment and Development of Visual Perception in Preschool Children responds to the need of broader selection of standardized tools designed for the assessment of actual development of visual perception in preschool children, especially in relation to the assessment of school readiness. The main aim of the thesis is standardization of a new assessment tool. Complementary aim is also to design and evaluate a new intervention program supporting development of selected areas of visual perception for children before and at the beginning of their school attendance. In its theoretical part thesis scrutinizes current findings in the area of visual perception and its relation to basic academic skills, especially reading. The explorative part of thesis presents standardization study based on classical model of Test theory consisting of convergent validity and reliability evaluation of proposed test and setting national norms for four age groups (from 5 to 7 years). Normative group covered 1234 participants.
Posibilities of Support for Teaching a Foreign Language to Pupils with Special Educational Needs at Younger School Age

Doctoral thesis titled Posibilities of support for teaching a foreign language to pupils with special educational needs at younger school age responds to the need to change the traditional approach in teaching a foreign language to pupils with specific difficulties. The aim is to map the use of a support program designed to support the curriculum in the English language to pupils with special educational needs of younger school age and on the basis of proven support program of applied within normal normal teaching hours to propose recommendations for practical language teaching. Theoretical bases of the current knowledge about specific learning difficulties young learners. Research is based on analysis of identified problem areas and analyzing pupils' acquired knowledge of the English language among pupils research sample, under which the pupils of the experimental group targeted presented support program, which includes elaborate didactic material aiming to promote the adoption of English curriculum. Analysis of the results of the output test of acquired knowledge pupils of the experimental group was focused on mapping the displacement achieved language skills, analyze the level of motivation and activities of pupils. Diagnostics of school readiness

This thesis deals with diagnosing school readiness at enrollment for compulsory school attendance. The paper defines the terms of school readiness, school maturity, enrollment for compulsory school attendance, school attendance postponement and acceptance of the child younger than six years. Another part describes the enrolment process for compulsory education in primary schools in Českobudějovicko. Three goals have been set: how teachers of selected primary schools in Českobudějovicko diagnose school readiness during enrollment for compulsory school attendance, what is their experience with school start postponement and early school starts (before 6 years), and to see if elementary schools cooperate with kindergartens in enrollment for compulsory school attendance. To achieve the goals was used qualitative research, an interrogation method, semi-structured interview technique. Through interviews with selected teachers coming from nine primary schools these objectives have been met. Elementary schools use different methods for diagnosing school maturity, but in most cases they diagnose the child in the fields recommended by literature. Role kindergarten in the diagnosis and the development of school readiness

In my thesis I focus on diagnosing school maturity of children and finding out possibilities of its development. In theoretical part I describe pre-school period as such, then I focus on pre- schools involved in the "Beginning together" program. Furthermore, I explain characteristics of school maturity and ways how to develop them, and finally I address Pedagogic - psychological diagnostics of school maturity. In practical part I researched into how pre- schools with the "Beginning together" program work with pre-school children and children with delayed school entry, I also researched if this program has any special procedures for development of school maturity.
