Distance learning at the pupils with learning disabilities

The diploma thesis deals with the education of pupils with specific learning disabilities. The theoretical part deals with the definitions of specific learning disabilities, the needs of students and the possibilities of re-education of individual disorders. There are defined degrees and types of support, legislation that regulates the education of students with special needs, but also other opportunities for their education. The practical part deals with case studies or observations of students with SPU, then a questionnaire survey, which seeks to answer the question of how teachers worked with students with SPU at the time of distance learning, whether they succeeded educational goals and also with what difficulties pupils struggled. The questionnaire survey is supplemented by structured interviews with teachers who participated in the education of students during distance learning.
Class management at the 1st and 2nd year of a primary school in non-standard conditions.

The diploma thesis is focused on the topic of managing classes at the first and second level of elementary school in non standard conditions. Specifically, the COVID-19 pandemic. The restrictions which prohibited physical attendance of children in schools required a change in teaching and a necessity to by flexible in reacting to the crisis measures. Distance learning was a new form of learning for teachers, the pupils and their parents alike. The theoretical portion explains views on guidance of the classroom, discusses the school classroom and the specifics of the first and second level of elementary school. Managing a classroom is a demanding field and there is no general united guide to a functional approach. The teacher perfects themselves through experience and decides on their own what strategies to use. The last chapter of the theoretical portion describes the pandemic and characterizes distance learning. Teacher's experience with individualized teaching in distance education

In a time of emergency measures due to the coronavirus pandemic, teachers have been forced to transition into distance education without prior experience and training, thus facing a significant professional challenge. Every teacher has dealt with this change differently and was given the opportunity to reflect their own teaching approach. The main aim of this thesis is to describe how distance education has transformed the approach of various types of teachers to the individual needs of students, in other words, to individualized teaching. In the theoretical part, selected approaches to the typology of teachers and their teaching styles will be described, using available professional publications. The importance of individualization as one of the key principles of current education will be justified. The ways in which a primary school teacher can respond to the individual needs of pupils in teaching will be summarized. The characteristic features of distance education, its advantages and limits will be described. Evalution and self-evulation of students in primary schools.

This diploma thesis deals with the evaluation and self-evaluation of pupils at primary school with a special focus on evaluation in distance learning. The theoretical part uses scientific literature to define the concept of school evaluation of students. It analyzes various types and forms of valuation as well as their impact on the pupil and his or her motivation for further schoolwork. Special attention is focused on the self-evaluation of younger school-age pupils and on the ability of these pupils to evaluate their school performance. It reflects the development of student self-evaluation since 1989. This thesis also indicates to the advantages and disadvantages associated with this method of evaluation and presents various strategies by which a teacher can motivate students to self-assess and lead the students to quality self- reflection. The empirical part has the character of mixed research. It monitors how pupils in selected schools are assessed during distance learning and whether they are guided to self- assessment. Experience with online teaching at lower secondary school

The work deals with the experience of online teaching at the lower secondary school in the English language subject. This is a qualitative research investigation carried out by semi- structured interviews with English language teachers. The work contains authentic testimonies of respondents, experiences and their experience of distance learning in the autumn and winter of 2020. It presents profiles of individual respondents with their quotes. It also discusses the resulting topics such as online teaching in the general sense, where it describes what online teaching means to teachers as a concept, what they imagine underneath, etc. It lists the main circumstances that may have influenced online teaching, from a teacher's point of view. The work is provided with a theoretical framework that mainly approximates the role of communication in online teaching, the motivation of pupils to learn and also presents the results of other research investigations already carried out into distance learning. The main research questions are: how teachers experienced online teaching; what positive and negative aspects were brought about by online teaching in the eyes of teachers; what behavioural or attitude changes were shown by pupils in the online environment in the eyes of the teacher. The diploma thesis deals with the cooperation of school and family during distance and online teaching. It discusses how parents approach cooperation and how it is perceived by teachers. The theoretical part describes the reasons for cooperation and the factors that negatively affect it. It presents rules for cooperation. It presents its typical forms and presents arguments for their implementation. It presents programs that support the cooperation of school and family. It characterizes distance learning and its types. It provides recommendations for teachers and possible forms of online cooperation. The diploma thesis deals with the topic of communication with parents during distance learning. It views this issue from the perspective of teachers and families. It summarizes the specifics of this unusual situation and provides recommendations on how to better manage it. The theoretical part is based on literature and it explains the importance of communication between teachers and parents. The main actors are characterized in this part. It summarizes the rules of respect and also talks about cooperation between both sides. It brings tips on how to involve parents in the education of their children. It deals with distance learning and its obstacles from the perspective of teachers and parents. The practical part focuses on the experience of first-level teachers. Forms and methods of cooperation with parents focusing on teaching the first grade pupils

The diploma thesis entitled Forms and methods of cooperation with parents is focused on distance learning in the 1st year of elementary school. It represents a method of teaching that was established in March 2020 in connection with the covid-19 pandemics. During the new school year 2020/21, this form de facto became the main educational form. The aim of the diploma thesis is to describe the positives and difficulties of distance learning and its specifics in a broader context, especially in terms of methods and forms applied within the cooperation with the family. It is a dynamic material that monitors a longer period of time, and so in connection with the circumstances, the main topic has changed. The work was expanded in a sense of describing the progress in the way of education during the re-closing of schools, thus reflecting the satisfaction or dissatisfaction of parents with the teaching forms and, except for the first year, it also describes the major part of the second year. The theoretical part is focused on three key areas. First, it characterizes distance education, then focuses on the period of entry of the first-graders and, aims to establish suitable ways of communication between the school, family and pupils.
