Parents' decision whether the compulsory school attendance will be postponed or not, should never become a formal matter, whereas parents can cause their children considerable difficulties in the future education and subsequent life just through their unadvised approach. My final thesis consists of four chapters and is divided into theoretical and empirical parts. The theoretical part is based on the theoretical resources and the general characteristics of pre-primary education, school counselling service departments, also from the experiences of senior staff of kindergartens in the field of compulsory school attendance. Pupil with special educational needs in the second primary school

This work deals with the problem, which is in my opinion becoming a hot issue. The number of children that get special needs education, is constantly increasing. The school in which they are educated, either draws up an individual educational plan (IEP below), or simply tolerates their work. It means these pupils are educated without an IEP, but the school and the teacher are aware of their special needs. It is not only the increasing number of pupils with learning disabilities and ADHD, but also with Asperger syndrome, speech disorders, physical disabilities, diabetes or epilepsy, and others. Depending on their problem also the amount of work with them is increasing. Firstly both the correct diagnosis and the setting of friendly educative environment are necessary. The work includes theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part clarifies the specific learning disorders, Asperger syndrome and developmental dysphasia. The practical part focuses on the work of pupils with specific learning disabilities, Asperger's syndrome and developmental dysphasia. Methodological cooperation of school counseling facilities in Mlada Boleslav with basic schools in which the pupils with special needs are integrated individually

The bachelor thesis focuses on the evaluation of the role of school counseling facilities and their cooperation with primary schools in the integration of disadvantaged pupils into regular classes, especially in connection with the creation and adjustments of an individual education plan for these pupils. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part describes the necessary supportive measures and content of consulting services for the education of pupils with special educational needs, benefits and content of activities of school counseling facilities. The theoretical part has been elaborated based on the study of scholarly literature. The practical part is devoted to a research aimed at finding forms and efficiency of cooperation of counseling facilities with primary schools integrating pupils with disabilities in Mlada Boleslav.

Possibilities of employing the profession of addictologist in pedagogical-psychological counselling centres: pilot study of the Ústí region

Background: The region of Ústí nad Labem has long been at the forefront of the prevalence of substance abuse; it is likewise specific for the occurrence of other negative social phenomena. The studies carried out in the region of Ústí nad Labem point to the fact that addictology issues are a current problem that deserves special attention as the target group of pedagogical-psychological counselling is children who consider themselves vulnerable to risky behaviour. The pedagogical- psychological counseling center is the main partner of schools and school facilities and the role of the prevention methodologist lies not only in the coordination of school prevention methodologists, but also in mapping the occurrence of risky behavior for the creation of remedial programs and risky behavior prevention programs. There is just one addictology clinic in the whole region, focusing on the target group of children and adolescents. The motive for the topic of the work was also the fact that the studies focused on the applicability of an addictologist in education have not yet been carried out in the Czech Republic. Attitudes of primary school teachers to inclusive education of children with mental disabilities

This diploma thesis deals with the issue of inclusive education of pupils with mental disabilities. The aim of the thesis is to find out what attitudes are occupied by primary school teachers and teachers of basic schools that are practical for the inclusive education of pupils with mental disabilities. The thesis is divided into the theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is focused on providing basic information about people with mental disabilities, the possibilities of their education and the interpretation of the concepts of integration and inclusion. Further, there is legislation on the education of pupils with special educational needs and a system of counseling services provided in schools and school counseling facilities. The practical part contains information acquired through the method of interview, whose aim is to find out the opinions and attitudes of teachers of basic schools and teachers of elementary schools that are practical for the inclusive education of pupils with mental disabilities.
