Eating disorder

This thesis summarizes the multifactorial causes of eating disorders in the context of current socio-cultural determinants, with a special focus on children and adolescents. The theoretical background for this thesis, as specified in the introduction, is a general overview of the possible causes, occurrence, course, prognosis, and diagnostic criteria of eating disorders, with an emphasis on younger school age and adolescent age. The central topic of my Bachelor's thesis is a questionnaire-based survey of the knowledge, recognition abilities, interventions, general attitudes towards the issue, and the implementation of primary prevention of eating disorders among members of the teaching staff in the sixth to ninth grades of normal elementary schools. The secondary objective of the thesis is to provide statistical data for the last five years due to the increase in the number and hospitalization rate of paediatric and adolescent patients with eating disorders at the Clinic of Paediatric Psychiatry and the incidence of these disorders in combination with a dual diagnosis. The comparative method and a questionnaire were used in this thesis.
Special educational support of clients of Home for Visually Impaired People Palata

The topic of this bachelor's thesis is comprehensive description and characteristics of special educational activities used at Home For Visually Impaired People Palata. Thesis consists of several chapters which initially deal with senior age issue, then the issue of elderly with vision impairment, and then the matter of spare time in context of quality of life of senior citizens. In the last section we find the characteristic of special educational activities at Palata, their specifics for seniors with vision impairment, and description of the process. The purpose of this thesis is to give a summary of special educational activities at Home For Visually Impaired People Palata, and thanks to analyses of these activities, observation and analysis of professional literature, to demonstrate the importance and need for these activities in facilities for the elderly. University education for teachers of children and pupils with a hearing handicap in the Czech Republic - a description of current state

(in English): Bachelor thesis entitled "Tercial education for teachers of children and pupils with a hearing handicap in the Czech Republic - a description of current state" will focus on teaching courses dealing with the education of persons with a hearing handicap. The work deals mainly with special-pedagogical disciplines whose graduates pursue with the education of individuals with a hearing handicap. The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. The first part contains a summary of the history of education for people with a hearing handicap, defines terms that occur at work, for example surdopedy or medical and socio-cultural approach to the problem of deafness. There is also a list of Czech legislation relating to education of persons with a hearing handicap. The practical part is further divided into two sections. In the first one, the information from curriculums and syllabi of relevant courses is summarized. Based on the analysis of syllabi, the form, the way and the content of teaching selected fields at specific universities is indicated. In the second section the results of the electronic questionnaire responses of surveyed fields are analyzed. Reflections of ideas to support children with disabilities in the thesis of František Čáda and Its overlap with the current special education

Anotation The aim of thesis is to measure the contribution of prominent professor František Čáda for the formation of Czech special education in the context of 20th century to the present overlap. The effort is based on archival materials processed to show František Čáda personal life, his public activity and importance for the development of Czech special education. The basis of the work consists of materials arising from the activities of František Čáda, correspondence, memoir literature, history and current knowledge of the published literature from the field pedopsychologie. Finally, the thesis uses the memories of a son František Čáda.
Upbringing and education of children with autism

The theme of this thesis is upbringing and education of children with autism. The text is divided into five parts. The first chapter is primarily devoted to the diagnosis. There are introduced the types of autism spectrum disorders and disorders, which can be associated with autism. Furthermore, I describe the typical symptoms of autism in social interaction, communication, imagination, and more. The following chapter deals with possible treatments and therapies and various educational methods, such as TEACCH program or applied behavioral analysis. The third part describes the possible ways of teaching and educating children with autism spectrum disorder. This extensive chapter informs about the types of educational facilities for children with autism and the importance of a special needs teacher and teacher's assistant. It also offers view of the family of a child with autism and a variety of educational strategies used in the home. The fourth chapter informs about organizations helping children with autism. The last part is devoted to case report of a boy who attends a special class for children with disabilities in kindergarten.
Specific developmental disordersmof scholasticskills and their reeducation

The thesis describes specific learning disabilities in general with the main accent on dyslexia, dysgraphia and dysortographia. It states causes and displays of SLD and their reflec- tion in children's mental well and the life of their families. It also deals with general reeduca- tion methods of learning disabilities and specific methods of dyslexia, dysgraphia and dysortographia remedy including outline of tools needed for reeducation. It presents care sys- tem for children with SLD in Czech Republic or who may be involved in care and education of these individuals. There are following methods used for the research in the practical part of the thesis: analysis of documentation, observation, interview and processing of casuistries. The research took place in two institutions, which deal with care about children with SLDs. It is the goal of the practical part of the bachelor thesis to present two institutions working with children with SLD, analyze their remedy methods and assemble casuistries of two selected students.
The comparison of Czech and Dutch educational systems

This thesis deals with comparing the educational system in the Netherlands and the Czech Republic. It focuses mainly on mapping the current systems, their organization, structure, but also includes excursion into the history of education in both countries. The practical part describes the current projects or the projects carried out in the past in education between the twin cities (Chrudim and Ede). The aim is to analyze both systems, their common features and differences.

Thesis focused on finding the conditions of successful inclusive education to the specific primary school. In the theoretical part defines the concepts related to an inclusive education, compares the various authors, the principles of inclusive, sees the inclusive education in the world and in the Czech Republic. Further mentions that the school climate is one of the most important conditions for successful inclusion. Compares the for and against inkluzivního training, its contribution to the school, and all participants in the educational process. Part of the research is focused on the readiness of the particular primary school to inclusive education.
Taring advantages of drama therapy in individuals

The first part of the bachelor's thesis deals with the mental retardation, determination, classification and etiology. It is emphasising importance of the education of the child with light mental disability, which is possible to be used in form of the therapeutic-formative intervention. The second part of the bachelor's thesis deals with the area of drama therapy that describes the therapeutic-formative approach. It refers to possibilities of application of the drama therapeutic techniques and exercises in area of treatment of the children with mild mental disablement. The third part of the bachelor's thesis focuses on the proposal of the drama therapeutic programme, which main contribution is development of the verbal and nonverbal communication abilities. There is a presentation of ten lessons of the drama therapy programme with focus on the prevention of problems in the communication.
