Competences of a soft skills trainer working in the private sector

This diploma thesis deals with the competence model of a soft skills trainer working in the private sector. It looks into the specifics of adult education with emphasis on the presentation of barriers when educating adults. Furthermore, this work discusses adult education specifics while focusing on the differences from the education of children and youth. This diploma work focuses on a trainer's personality requirements, his competences, and it presents expectations related to the trainer. A soft skills trainer's competence model is drawn up on the basis of theory presented and research carried out. The research focuses on three groups of participants to educational process - representatives of an educational organization as a trainer's employer, ordering party of an educational event as a trainer's customer and trainers themselves.
Growth of teachers and the participation of management in art schools (related to the curricular reform)

The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the teaching profession in primary schools of art in the 21st century in the context of curricular reform. It addresses not only the readiness of teachers to changes that the curriculum documents bring, but at the same time solves position management (role of directors) in this process. Concretizes the development of the teaching profession from the perspective of management in art schools. The research part of the thesis analyzes the selected documents school curricula, defines the content development for teachers through the training of teachers and emerging approaches of directors in this process. Dissertation will complete the topic by the recommendations of advanced training teachers for the management of teachers in art schools. Assessment for selection and development of employees: Competency model for entry-level salespeople in services

This thesis focuses on the proper use of various assessment methods for selection and development of employees in various positions within an organization. The selection and use of assessment methods have been tailored to practical requirements for each position in the organization with regard to their specificities. This current thesis elaborates on the assessment for technical, administrative, managerial jobs with special emphasis being put on the assessment for sales positions. Within the strategic assessment programmes the thesis deals with assessing the potential of individuals and the prediction of future behavior which is of great importance for the organization's future success. An Integrated Model of Potencial is specifically mentioned in this chapter and its practical use is suggested. In the second, empirical part of the thesis an attempt has been made to create a specific competency model for entry-level services salespeople and proposals for its practical use have been outlined. Exploit of the teachers' potentiality in the development of the school

The work deals with problems of the personal activities of the school management. It engages in different manners of the monitoring teachers'qualifications provided by the head- master, further on it deals with methods of registration of the qualificational level and implementation possibilities of the teacher's personal development plan which is based on the identificational potenciality in the process of the development of the primary school. The autor delimitates the term qualification, characterizes the qualifying model and gives examples of the teacher's qualificational models, sketches possibilities of the identification teacher's qualifications and an evaluation of their level by the head-master, as well.The author aims on characterization of the potentiality and consequently on teacher's potentiality. In connection with the development of the school she outlines the plan of the teacher's personal development. The method of the management based on qualifications is given as the example. The author concludes own research from given theoretical pieces of knowledge. Based on the questionnaire research she compares manners of monitoring teachers'qualifications by head - masters and finds out as these qualifications are exploited in the development of the school.
Cluster analysis of final thesis dealing with the term competence

7 ABSTRACT: This thesis analyzes the final thesis, bachelor's and master's ones defended at The School Management Centre Department of the Education Faculty of Charles University in Prague for the period from 2010 until 2012. This thesis deals with cluster analysis theses dealing with the term competence, particularly in the area of school leadership, that leaders and managers of schools. Theses researches of adequate extent i.e. eight bachelor's and three master's theses, will also focus on competence in the field of personnel management at schools. A qualitative method will be used for the thesis work, which will be conducted content analysis of the text and its interpretation, whose main tool is an effective methodological comparison. It is necessary to observe the principle of objectivity. The final theses will not be evaluated otherwise objectively compared. The thesis work is indicating any differences between claims that have not been investigated. The comparison will focus on the tools to determine ways of grasping the subject, the author styles, etc. The resulting model presents a comparison of research expertise of final university thesis dealing with common theme competence in the field of school leadership, summary knowledge of the topic. Managerial competence of managers of kindergartens in the Czech Republic

This final thesis deals with the topic of Managerial competence of managers of kindergartens in the Czech Republic. It is based on the current needs of kindergartens to describe the issue of managerial competencies for each management position in this type of school, especially with accordance to their further education and evaluation. Aim of this diploma work is to analyze and identify the key managerial competencies that are substantial and significant for individual performance management functions in kindergartens. Its first part is focused on the explanation of the theoretical approaches. The research part presents some of the findings on the issue of competence, offers a competency model for managerial positions in the nursery schools, and helps to explain the current educational needs of their managers. Final part of this work suggests recommendations to the founders, directors and other executive workers of nursery schools or educational centers for lifelong learning.
Comparison of Competencies of School Canteen Managers With or Without Legal Personality

This final paper focuses on the comparison of competencies of school canteen managers with or without legal personality. It comes out of the literature research. It specifies the term "competence" and it lists basic competencies of school canteen managers. The paper introduces the analysis of a questionnaire outcomes that focused on managing, social and personality competencies of school canteen managers. The comparison of competencies of school canteen managers with or without legal personality is based on the theory and the questionnaire results. This final paper outcome is a tool for the professional development of school canteen managers. It is also a tool for the school headmasters and school facility founders to carry out evaluation, to motivate and hire new school canteen employees.
Social Skills of Middle Management School

Resumé Summary The thesis Social Competence of Middle School Management concerns with school management. It is dealing with its division into three levels according a model of business management. The main focus is on competence models, its application in education environment with attention to social competence in middle school management. The thesis comes from a theory of business management and from English school system experience. The key source is a book A. Gold Management of current school. The theoretical part is dealing also with competence model, a definition of the term competence and mainly with social competences. The competence models in school management are utilizable in selective procedure concerning filling key management vacancies. The competence model of the specific position is also a tool for a feedback and evaluation. The outcome of the questionnaire confirmed the statement, that a simple transfer of the business management division into school environment is not convenient. Furthermore, it was shown, that the most disputable position for inclusion into management level is the deputy headmaster. Competence of a personnel officer

The competencies of the personnel officer have been researched many times recently. It is rather complicated to establish the competencies of professionals in the area of personnel procedure, it is necessary to consider type and size of the organization, where the l personnel officer acts, the organization's culture, strategy, position of the personnel manager, etc. The authorities and responsibility for decision making, concerning personnel consequences, are more and more deputed to the line executive staff. They have the decisive power during the selective procedure; they are responsible for performance rating and remuneration of the staff, they co-decide the leading of the career, etc. In this way the line executive staffs obtain responsibility not only for vocational activity, but also for the selective procedure. There is a movement from traditional, reactive and administrative role of the HR department to an active counselling role, where the elements of the traditional role of the HR department are deputed to the line managers.
