Petružela, Jan ; Tůma, Martin (advisor) ; Kočíb, Tomáš (referee)
Title: Rehearsal of shooting from the wing position in handball Objectives: The aim of the work was to build and verify the training model for practicing and perfecting the shooting technique from the the wing position in handball. Based on the comparison and evaluation of each videoclip (before and after the intervention) five players tested, we found that this training model is effective. Methods: Five respondents players will be filmed during the shooting from the wing position, then the players go through during the months June and July seven training units, in the length thirty minutes, focusing on the progress of technique. After the completion of the training units, players will be filmed again and the videoclips will be compared with the original assessman. Results: In monitored group, a programme we have created caused a qualitative improvement the skills of all players. Key words: Wing, training, performance, intervention programme
Insect wings vein analysis
Khodos, Anton ; Bída, Michal (advisor) ; Bošanský, Branislav (referee)
Insect wings are extremely important part of insect identification. Each wing possesses a number of longitudinal veins, which often have cross-connections called junctions and form closed cells on the membrane. Those wing features are unique inside most of the insect families. Therefore, entomologists use those features for insect identification. The purpose of this thesis is to develop software that will ease the process of extraction wing features from image. The software provides tools for manual and automatic extraction of wing features. Development also includes implementation of image processing algorithms: adaptive thresholding and Zhang-Suen thinning algorithm. Chosen solution is tested and the test results are analyzed and discussed. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Time minimization for vehicles passing a given trajectory
Suja, Jerguš ; Kůdela, Jakub (referee) ; Porteš, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with model building of automobile movement and it’s optimal speed in every single point of trajectory, whit aim on minimal lap time. It uses a real data, which was measured on Masaryk circuit in Brno. Contents of thesis are analysing effecting forces on vehicle’s dynamic and then building mathematic model. The main purpose is finding optimal speed characterization and compare with real data. Then, we modify model with adjustable wing and present advantage of this customization. Simulation was done by program MATLAB.
Design and functional morphology of insect wings
Jechová, Kateřina ; Prokop, Jakub (advisor) ; Janšta, Petr (referee)
Animal fly ability is undoubtedly one of the biggest innovation in evolution that allow animals to settle down another space on the Earth - the air. However, there are significant impacts on the other organisms during the evolution, too. The insect is single group of invertebrates with abilities to fly and because of that it became the most diversified group of organisms. There are a couple of theories about origin of the insect wings. Two major hypotheses considering the recent insects with their fossil record are widely known. Nevertheless, there is no direct clue to the first Pterygota due to the discontinuity of fossil record in the initial phase of their evolution The wing is very complex and unique structure throughout organisms. Insects became very good fliers during the evolution and wings are also used to protect of the body, carrying sensory organs, etc. Nevertheless, only very few insect species are well explored in term of flight and, an open theme for future studies. Aim of the present work is to describe the significance of the wing and to briefly review its morphological and design properties. Key words: Insecta, Pterygota, wing, venation, morphology, flight, evolution.
New Approaches in Numerical Aeroelasticity Applied in Aerodynamic Optimization of Elastic Wing
Museum of warfare
Dvouletý, Martin ; Pilgr, Milan (referee) ; Barnat, Jan (advisor)
The subject of the Bachelor thesis is the design and assesssment of the steel (load bearing) structure of the future museum of military equipment. The building, with passageway for the visitors, is going to serve museum for garaging medium and heavy equipment. The framework is constructed by connection of abutment pillars placed in the distance of 10 m and roof girders with haunches. Construction is designed to have mono-pitched roof created by 5,36 m long pillar and 6,4 m long pillar connected with girder. In the endwise direction the frames are in the distance of 6 m. The construction is specific by its plan. By its cranking at the end of the first wing under 45° angle there is created smaller interstice. At the end of the interstice is another 45° angle cranking connected to the second wing. Thanks to the cranking between the wings the first wing extends endwise and the second extends crosswise. Another specifics are gate constructions placed on the side of the higher pillars. The gate is intended for enterance and exit of the military equipment to be placed for an exposition in the museum. The framework is designed by norms ČSN EN for the ultimate and serviceability limit state. As the main material used for load-bearing elements was steel S355.
