Industrial forms
Šromová, Hana ; Kornatovský, Jiří (advisor) ; Dvořák, Jaroslav (referee)
This text is a part of my years long art work. Industrial architecture and mechanical parts, fascination to functions of mechanisms and the aesthetics of industry are for years my hobby. These phenomens became fundamental for my art work. In this work I introduce my creative basis. Their main themes are fundamental changings of human's development. Subsequently I have searched for similar contents used in the artistic world. Particulary I thought about the risks and dangers which the new technical age hides from our site. Technologie from a lot of points of view abbreviates our lives but on the other hand it is also a risk for people who do not esteem the values of our environment, nature and do not think much of their own ephemerality. The didactic part of my work I spent upon playfulness which is for all children natural. Mechanisms, constructions and technologies enable the creation of an abstract world and fantastic beings. The topic of "Industries" offers a rich scale of inspiring ideas for work with children. At the same time we save the concepts of how to combine the cultural and nature's world. It is necessary to educate all in the spirit of living, staying playfull and sensetive at the same time.

Režňáková, Petra ; Smrž, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Starý, Josef (referee)
This study was performed in Rendez-Vous locality in Lednice-Valtice conservation area from October 2008 up to September 2009. The litter of two microhabitats were sampled - yew tree and Turkey oak. The extraction in Berlese-Tullgren termeclectors yielded 9043 soil mites which represented 26 oribatids species and 4 genera without species determination. The usual methods were applied for the comunity structure observation including numerical analysis. Moreover, the histological ways were used for the study of of the feeding habits of the dominant species (Gymnodamaeus bicostatus, Spatiodamaeus verticillipes, Platynothrus peltifer). The microhabitats were different from each other as regards their community structure as well as their dominant oribatid species as confirmed by the numerical analysis. The food offer of microhabitat and feeding selection of mites were substantial for the settlement of microhabitat. Microhabitats play just very important role in soil biology.

In my work, I emphasize the need to inform and educate parents in this area and put forward solutions in the form of the project "Educating Parents in Children's Drug Addiction Problems". The purpose of the project is to publish a handbook for parents titled "Do You Know About Drugs What Your Child Does?" The publication will provide parents with basic information about drug addiction. In addition to theoretical knowledge about drugs, parents will also be offered practical advice and guidance on how to prevent potential problems with drugs in their children, on how to react when they learn about the child's experimentation with drugs and, last, but not least, how to act in the situation when they find out that their child is already drug-addicted. Prior to writing the handbook, quantitative survey of parents has been undertaken to map the situation in the area of drug addiction prevention in families. The aim is to include the results of the survey in the handbook in such a way that, e.g., its text, in some parts, will give details to the explanation of the problematic phenomena exposed by the survey. The survey is one part of an entire...
