System of four-branch education for preschool children in Elementary School of Arts

This bachelor´s thesis is concerned with the education of pre-school children in Schools of Arts. It is focused on a four-branch system of schooling, which is so far not much widespread form of parallel education in all four branches taught in Schools of Arts – dance, music, dramatic and visual arts. The aim of my work is to prepare some materials and topics for this kind of teaching and thus to ease the work of teachers who would like to work this way but can be discouraged for example by the demands of preparing such a project.
Compared language skills of preschool age with the expected competencies

This dissertation deals with the language skills of the preschool children in comparison with the expected competences. The main aim of this dissertation is to discover the level of the preschool children language skills and to compare them with the expected competences. The additional aim is to ascertain the activities used by the pedagogues to evolve the language skills of the preschool children. The methods of the language skills development, the support of the communication and language skills in the nursery school and the factors influencing language skills are described on the base of the professional literature in the theoretic parts of this dissertation. The proposal of the solution for the pedagogue's work efficiency improvement and preschool children language skills quality improvement is composed on the base of the testing and the survey.
Educational mediation spiritual values of pre-school children through working with symbols

The aim of this bachelor work is to find a suitable way for sharing Christian values with preschool children. For dealing with this task we took into account the realm of values and the specifics of a child's psyche, as well as the pedagogical context itself. We came to the conclusion that the most suitable way for carrying out this task is by using symbols. Based on the findings we came to, we can declare that symbols are very close to a child's perception of the world. The results of this work enable a child´s psyche to be formed in an unforced manner.
Options to include children under three years to nursery schools in the Mělník region

The diploma thesis deals with the age category of children which are under three years old and their potential to be accepted to nursery schools in this region. The thesis generally summarizes all the current knowledge about that if is it possible to place the children of this age into pre-school institutions and under what conditions. Thesis also deals with providing care, upbringing and education of children under three years, the overall readiness of kindergartens to fulfill those demands and also opinions of pedagogical public. In the theoretical part the author explains legislative requirements of accepting the children under three years into nursery schools. The author also describes and characterizes the child development between second and third year of life. The thesis deals with the specific peculiarities of these children their adaptation and describes their possibilities to be accepted by kindergartens. The author looks into the possibility to be accepted in conditions of social needs of families and also in terms of education legislation. Methods of teaching preschool children in swimming school

9 RESUMÉ This thesis deals with teaching children swimming, especially its basic stages of mastering basic swimming skills and the basics of swimming. Lessons were drawn up on the basis of the lesson plan in a swimming school in two groups of preschool children. In one group the training began in a swimming pool with a deep floor and in the second group the training began in a swimming pool with a shallow floor. From the sixth lesson, both groups continued in the large pool with a deep floor. The aim of the pedagogical investigation was to evaluate and compare the differences in the achieved level of basic swimming skills. The main aim of this work was to determine which of the two teaching methods are more effective. We found that the group learning in a deep pool achieved higher scores and therefore better mastered basic swimming skills. For acquiring basic swimming skills it is more effective if swimming schools begin teaching preschool children in a swimming pool with a deep floor.
Institutions for preschool children with social and curtural disadvantages

The diploma thesis characterizes the institutions dealing with children with social and cultural disadvantages. Methods that have been used are structured interviews and data analysis. Implemented in four institutions dealing with children with social and cultural disadvantages and four teachers in kindergarten, where the children of the orphanage. Aim of this work was to determine, which institutions for children in distress occur preschool children, what reasons most often comes to the institution and the institution where most leaves. Detects changes, relating to the psychosocial needs of children, that occurred in a children's home in Dolních Pocernicích after 2002. Furthermore compares the differences between children from ordinary families and children from the orphanage attending the same kindergarten. Finally, work is understanding the institutions, that help children who have no such luck in life, such as children with loving parents.
Advent-calender full of stories - educational project in development of before-reader's skills of children at nursery school

5 Abstract The thesis is devoted to the development of before-reader's skills of preeschoolers, their ability to develop communication, listening and discussion with some methods of critical thinking. Theoretical part is focused on the development of reading and before-reader's literacy of preschoolers.It deals with a posibility to use some chosen methods of the program RWCT (Reading and Writing for Critical Thinking) at nursery school. It concentrates on the development of preschoolers in some areas important for their development of reader's literacy. In practical part there is presented the educational project of advent-calender full of stories, based on the work with texts. Based on stories it learns, if these chosen methods of the program RWCT can influence communication of preschoolers and their listening and discussion. The thesis presents results of the educational project took at the beginning and the end of my project. Free and controlled game and activities in pre-school education in terms of teachers

This thesis deals with free and controlled play activities in preschool education in terms of teachers. It focuses primarily on the game preschool children playing children spend most of their time is their most important activities for the advancement of their entire personality. The theoretical part is focused on defining the concept of game play and substance of the relationship and the importance of play of preschool children. It is focused on free and controlled the game and activities, and their ratio to the game in terms of teachers. The practical part is focused on the importance of teachers in the free and controlled the game and activities for children in kindergarten through observation. During the observation is focused on the description of children's activities, actions and attitudes of teachers towards free and controlled the game and activities, and children. The result is to highlight the important role of free and controlled the game in the life of preschool age, and especially access to teachers and their role in the open and controlled by children playing. Evolution of anthropometric indices in pre-school children

The diploma thesis is mainly focused on monitoring Rohrer's index (RI) at preschool children in age of 3, 4, 5, and 6. The work is solving the question of mutual relation between Rohrer's index, sickness rate, and spontaneous activity of preschool children. Furthermore, Body Mass Index (BMI) is listed as another anthropometric index. In fact, BMI shouldn't be used for this age group but it's mentioned for its general knowledge. The anthropometric research includes the measurement of preschool's children body height and weight. 240 children were measured in total. Each age group contains 60 kids from which are always 30 boys and 30 girls. In addition, there is evaluated children's half year of preschool attendance, sickness, and spontaneous physical activity. The research is dealing with the question if body weight or height can influence children's sickness rate. Moreover, there is solved the association between kids' anthropometric indexes and physical activity. The data were processed through Student's t- test and the independence test  2 . As it is stated by professionals, the research has proven that Rohrer's index is decreasing in relation to age.
