The way men and women into municipal politics of Kutna Hora. This work focuses on the motivation and the reasons why men and women to enter municipal politics a medium-sized cities such as Kutna Hora. I put emphasis on issues of participation in the political representation of both sexes. What are the obstacles to municipal politicians to meet at the entrance to the policies and the active participation in political office. I introduced myself to municipal politics in the Czech Republic looks like and what powers and responsibilities councilors city. In the empirical part, I introduced our own research and put a short excursion into the history of Kutna Hora. Obtained through interviews with municipal politicians and politicians were analyzed through three levels of coding. I started from the thesis of Marcela Adamusová, which dealt with master suppression techniques techniques and compared my results with her. Final discourse combines author's theoretic knowledge with empiric perception of Bulgarian community. The main emphasis of thesis is represented by overreach of cultural territory and historical contacts to contemporary reception of different ethnic minority. Social capital in Adulthood: Socialization Influences of family enviroment

This diploma thesis Social Capital in Adulthood: Socialization Influences of Family Environment inquired into relation between environment in childhood and social capital in adulthood. At the very first part social capital was delimited according to Coleman's and Bourdieu's conceptualization. Selected characteristics of socialization environment were susequently described with emphasis on discerning of primary and secondary 5 socialization. In empirical part of the text parenting styles and joint activities of parents and children were operationalized. Five indicators of social capital in adulthood were subsequently prepared distinguishing its structural and cultural components. At the concluding part of the text five models of relations were built. As explaining variables were used family social capital, extracurricular activities and years of education. As explained variables were used five measured indicators of social capital: size of weak tie network, highest reachability of socioeconomic status, heterogeneity in the network of three closest friends. In cultural dimension of social capital were modelled influences on trust and tolerance. Analyses presented in empirical part of the text were created using data which came from sociological research Distinction and Values 2008 (SOÚ AV ČR, v.v.i.).

Language manaement of Huastecan Nahuatl in Mexico

Language management of Nahuatl in Mexico This thesis describes the current status of Nahuatl language, and disccus its functioning and position within the institutional structures of Mexican society, as well as language community in the municipality of Chicontepec in northeastern Mexico. Nahuatl is one of the best-known indigenous languages with wider distribution across the Mexico and according to the latest census, there are one and half million speakers of the language. The aim of this paper is to present the key moments of the relationship between Spanish and Nahuatl. The paper analyzes how to manage the problems associated with the language problems associated with Nahuatl and other indigenous languages from the second half of the twenty century to the present. On the basis of empirical data describes in detail the use of Nahuatl and the transmission within the selected families and communities in the bilingual Chicontepec. In four communities discussed the linguistic behavior of the population with emphasis on intergenerational language transmission. The Nahua community have experienced over the past 30 years, the linguistic dynamic changes that result in different language skills in different generations, genders and social groups. Zuzana Husarovičová Pastorační péče o adolescenty ve spirituální krizi Pastoral care of adolescents in spiritual crisis This doctoral thesis with the name "Pastoral care of adolescents in spiritual crisis" is intended for counsellors who have regularly contact with young people. Thesis is divided into theoretical part with four chapters and empirical part with two chapters. Between main contributions of this thesis belong view of youth pastoral care conditions in our Czech environment and also summary of relevant literature. The doctoral thesis defines four types of adolescent's spiritual crisis. This spiritual crisis has close connection to Erikson's identity crisis. The thesis also describes few principles of young people counselling with an emphasis on positive aspects of every crisis.

Effective Promotion and Public Relations in Non-profit Sector

Diploma thesis deals with non-profit organizations with regard to their effective presentation, promotion and public relations. Theoretical part generally characterizes non-profit organizations and non-profit sector in the Czech Republic. First part outlines brief historical context, legal regulations in the Czech Republic, their operation, classification and fundraising. Second part describes public relations in non-profit sector, instruments of this communication and how to make this communication as effective as possible. Empirical part demonstrates these theoretical findings on examples of two particular non-profit organizations operating in the sphere of health care and social-service work. These two non-profit organizations are being compared in reference to public relations and public awareness about these organizations activity. Emphasis is laid not only on communication methods but especially on ethic aspect of this communication. Diploma thesis objective is to evaluate position of two non-profit organizations in terms of promotion and public relations. Conclusion summarizes ascertained facts.

Olympic Games in Prague. Multicriterial feasibility assessment of three variants for the location of the central olympic park.

This thesis concerns the intention to stage the Olympic Games in Prague in the year 2016 or 2020. The theoretical part deals with proposed variants for location of the central Olympic park and their evaluation. The empirical part judges - with the help of a multicriterial analysis - three variants for the location of the central Olympic park. The analysis takes account of the most complex criteria, with an emphasis on protecting the environment in the given locality. There is a discussion of methods used and the selection of criteria for location of the park. The resulting evaluation of variants is compared and discussed with the decision of Prague City Hall on the selection of a locality in Letnany.

The Caucasian Jews

Diploma thesis "The Caucasian Jews"deals with the population of Jews in the area of Caucasus. The thesis is focused on the history with emphasis on the Khazar period and also deals with the issue of constituent Jewish groups to present situation, concentrated on the Mountain Jews. The diploma work concentrates all available sources and tries to create the comprehensive treatise focused on history and development of Jewish population. The beginning is focused on the rarities of the Caucasian region (e.g. very unusual ethnic and language structure) which affect whole population without reference to religion. The next part deals with history and the crucial point is the Khazar Empire and following development of regional Jewish population, including all Jewish groups. I also incorporated the results of the most recent genetic researches that are focused on the connection between Caucasian Jews and Ashkenazim. The last part is fully concentrated on history and folklore of the Mountain Jews that are the largest original group in the region.

Victor IV and his successors: Church politics during the Papal Schism (1159-1180)

This thesis focuses on the politics of Antipope Victor IV and his successors Paschal III, Calixtus III and Innocent III, who were the opponents of Alexander III since the schismatic elections of 1159. The aim is to analyse the political thinking and actions of the antipopes, with an emphasis on the political relations of Victor IV. The thesis is divided into six thematic sections. The first deals with the pre-election developments and the election of 1159 itself. The second considers their position in relation to Alexander III, while the third turns to the papal-imperial policy and examines the relationship between the antipopes and Emperor Frederick Barbarossa. The fourth section discusses the status and relations of the antipopes outside the Holy Roman Empire. The penultimate chapter examines the attitude of the imperial clergy to the pontificates of the antipopes as well as the obedience of the imperial monasteries, according to papal documents. The final chapter constructs biographies of the antipopes, focusing on the period before their pontificates.
