Cesta mužů a žen do komunální politiky Kutné Hory. Tato práce se zaměřuje na motivace a důvody, proč muži a ženy vstupují do komunální politiky středně velkého města, jakým je Kutná Hora. Důraz jsem kladla na otázky participace na politické reprezentaci obou pohlaví. S jakými překážkami se komunální politici/političky setkávají jak při vstupu do politiky, tak při aktivní participaci na politických funkcích. Představila jsem, jak komunální politika v České republice vypadá a jaké kompetence a povinnosti mají zastupitelé/zastupitelky města. V empirické části jsem představila vlastní výzkum a uvedla krátký exkurs do historie města Kutná Hora. Získané rozhovory s komunálními politiky a političkami jsem analyzovala prostřednictvím tří úrovní kódování. Vycházela jsem z diplomové práce Marcely Adamusové, která se zabývala dominačními technikami a porovnávala jsem své výsledky s jejími. The way men and women into municipal politics of Kutna Hora. This work focuses on the motivation and the reasons why men and women to enter municipal politics a medium-sized cities such as Kutna Hora. I put emphasis on issues of participation in the political representation of both sexes. What are the obstacles to municipal politicians to meet at the entrance to the policies and the active participation in political office. I introduced myself to municipal politics in the Czech Republic looks like and what powers and responsibilities councilors city. In the empirical part, I introduced our own research and put a short excursion into the history of Kutna Hora. Obtained through interviews with municipal politicians and politicians were analyzed through three levels of coding. I started from the thesis of Marcela Adamusová, which dealt with master suppression techniques techniques and compared my results with her.
