Czech Catholic Church and Social Justice

The work engages in what manner czech Catholic Church contributes realizing of social justice in Czech republic. It tries to describe social justice as a conception and refer to its failuring in Czech. Analysis value of czech society should indicate if there is common concern in development of social justice. Substantial part of work forms maping of Catholic Church{\crq}s social activities which are active in reparation of social justice breaking. Some steps which could prove influences of Catholic Church services are proposed.

Doping - the knowledge and attitudes of university students

Sport is an important part of today's society. It is leisure time's activity, entertainment, and prevention of health problems. Nowadays, the importance of sport is oriented mainly on performance and success. Under these conditions, doping substances may in some cases mean way to success. Knowledge of doping substances among athletes is very important in order to prevent positive doping and all its consequences. It is therefore important to consistently inform both adults and young athletes about this issue, and emphasise the prevention of this problem at the same time. The main goal is to map the current knowledge, attitudes and foreknowledge of students of physical education courses about doping problems. The data obtained was compared with previous reviews.

Body and gender of women who had undergone aesthetic plastic surgery

Objective: In our research we would have like to involve gender belief system and conceive their attitude against in detail gender-man, gender-women, personal gender identity in population of business women, who had undergone aesthetic plastic surgery. Next we assumed to understand the body formed by society and describe their Physical self. Methods: Empirical research, first exploring to know and catch up information about chirurgical surgeries. Questionnaire focused on Physical and gender self were used. Results: Their gender self was mostly masculine in case of androgyny. Body dissatisfaction and body distortion were parts to represent their Physical self. We could identify few bad body image distortions including. They wished having ideal feminine, mysterious, agile, beautiful and right body. Being on diet, using cosmetics and plastic surgeries were common in changing bodies shapes rather then sports activities. Views of mother and maternity

Thesis deals with depicting of mother and her maternity in children's art display of schoolchildren visiting first grade of primary school and focuses attention on possible changeovers in position of mother in current society. The aim of the paper was pointed to work out and check the methodology of research up, which could bring up-to-date information about investigation. The theoretical part concentrates on contemporary knowledge about mother and maternity from the point of view of child's evolution period, social psychology, fine art and gender. The research part brings findings about nowadays changes in image of schoolchildren of primary school about position of mother in society and problems about depicting it in art lessons. The outcome of research lead to teaching practice as didactical way out for making a new point of view of teacher at thematic unit "Mother" and its special place in system of other teaching methods.

Modern women's narrative writing in Islamic countries (Iran - Saudi Arabia)

The aim of the thesis Modern Women's Narrative Writing in Islamic Countries (Iran - Saudi Arabia) is to compare the situation of women writers on the Iranian and Saudi literary stages, to give an overview of the literary activities of the women fiction writers from both countries, to track down thematic motifs in the chosen writers' works, and to compare the authors' approaches to particular motifs. In order that the view of the situation in both societies is complete, the thesis includes also a brief historical/political development of both states in the time relevant for the modern literary output, that is the 19th and 20th centuries till today. The second chapter serves the same purpose as the first one, it describes and compares the women's situation in the Iranian and Saudi societies, and the local women's movements, for there has always been a link between women's literary activities and their emancipatory efforts.

Art and society in the views of William Morris

V predkladanej práci by sme chceli priniest' vrámci daného priestoru čo najkomplexnejší obraz myšlienok britského básnika, designéra a sociálneho kritika Williama Morrisa (1834 - 1896), so zvláštnym d6razom na jeho názory týkajúce sa role umerua v živote spoločnosti. Rozhodli sme sa tak preto, že život a dielo Williama Morrisa považujeme za výnimočne vytrvalý a originálny sp6sob reakcie na negatíva spoločenského a kultúrneho vývoja doby nadšenej z možností, ktoré nedokázala využit'. Celým živo tom Williama Morrisa sa tiahne jednotn)T motív reflexie spoločenskej situácie v industrializujúcej sa Británii 19. storoba. Zastávame názor, že mnohé z jeho nespočetných aktivít boli nielen odrazom jeho viacstranného nadarua, no i d6kazom neobyčajne senzitívneho a pohotového vnímania okolitej skutočnosti a schopnosti premietnut' svoje myšlienky do konrétnych krokov.

Integration of persons with disabilities into the society and their possibilities on the labour market

Diplomová práce a její empirická část byla postavena na dvou základních hypotézách. První hypotézu "Občané, kterým byl přiznán invalidní důchod a účastní se aktivit pořádaných Svazem tělesně postižených v ČR, jsou motivováni pracovat" se podařilo potvrdit. Podle odpovědí z dotazníků většina dotázaných, tedy konkrétně 67% má zájem pracovat. Vždy záleží na individuální situaci daného člověka. Samotná výše invalidního důchodu nemá velký vliv na rozhodnutí, zda osoby se zdravotním postižením chtějí pracovat nebo n e . K rozhodnutí, zda se tito lidé budou chtít v budoucnost uplatnit na pracovním trhu dochází již v ordinaci posudkového lékaře. Pokud lékař zvolí vhodnou metodu sdělení informací o zdravotním stavu a doporučí individuální plán ucelené rehabilitace je člověk se zdravotním postižením na dobré cestě k opětovnému zapojení do pracovního procesu. Neméně důležitá je i spolupráce s místním Úřadem práce. Stále zažitá praxe nenabízet rekvalifikační kurzy lidem s plným invalidním důchodem se rozhodně musí změnit. Pokud je člověku přiznán plný invalidní důchod je na něj stále pohlíženo jako na osobu práce neschopnou. Zároveň snaha najít práci pro osoby se zdravotním postižením za každou cenu se též míjí s účinkem. Lidé se zdravotním postižením nemusí nutně pracovat, oni se potřebují cítit užiteční, prospěšní...

Comparison of CSR activities of companies on the czech market and their contribution to society

The paper focuses on evaluation of corporate social responsibility in Starbucks and Tchibo. To fulfil this aim is used the analysis of CSR activities of companies mentioned above. The indispensable part of this paper is also research in form of a questionnaire, that investigates the public awareness of sustainable activities and it´s attitude to this issue. In the first part of this paper can be found a theoretical introduction to the problem, two following chapters are focused on Starbucks and Tchibo. The last part of the paper is dedicated to the questionnaire.
