Key Ideas of Franz Pöggeler's Andragogical Concept

This bachelor thesis deals with the key andragogical ideas of Franz Pöggeler. Pöggeler was an important German adult educator in the second half of the 20th century and he is considered to be one of the founders of andragogy as an independent scientific discipline. The thesis is primarily based on Pöggeler's major andragogical work, Erwachsenenbildung: Einführung in die Andragogik (Adult Education: Introduction to Andragogy), which was published in 1974. The aim of the thesis is to interpret and organise Pöggeler's key andragogical ideas and to provide an integrated view of his andragogical concept in the context of his era. The thesis also includes a critical assessment of Pöggeler's andragogical ideas. The Use of a Project for Free-Time Activity

Většina lidí si pod pojmem učení představí činnost, která je sama o sobě nepříjemná a na jejímž konci budou něco znát, umět. Využitím projektů se dá značně zvýšit motivace jedince, což následně proces učení velmi usnadní. Projektová metoda, je jedním ze způsobů práce, které jsou v moderním školství velmi populární, avšak počátky jejího používání spadají až na začátek 20. století. Školství ale není jedinou oblastí, kde se zmíněná metoda dá s úspěchem využít, je však oblastí, kde se její používání stalo v současnosti módním trendem. V pedagogice volného času je, díky jiným cílům a celkově jinému způsobu práce, než ve školství, využívání projektů stálým jevem. Projekty umožňují spojení více oblastí lidského poznání dohromady, ukazují použití poznatků v praxi. Při jejich realizaci by měl pedagog vyloučit jakoukoli improvizaci. Měl by včas připravit všechny potřebné věci, vypracovat časový plán, přesná a jednoznačná pravidla, určit výchovně - vzdělávací cíl, úkoly, způsob hodnocení. Pravidla práce je důležité vysvětlit jasně a přehledně, pokud možno s názorným příkladem. Je žádoucí si ukázkou ověřit, že všichni všemu rozuměli.

The new fathers phenomenon

Klíčovou sociální institucí je rodina. I přes množství svých současných podob je stále nezpochybnitelně místem primárních sociálních vztahů, tvořících oporu identity sociálního jedince. Každý jedinec je, po různě velkou část svého života, členem alespoň jedné rodiny, jejíž konstelace1 se s postupem času mění. Probíhá v ní socializace, proces v němž se reprodukují základní hodnoty společnosti. S tím se v rodině ale reprodukuj í l stereotypy, očekávání a interpretační schémata vztahů v rodině. Stejně jako všechny ostatní sociální instituce se l rodina pod vlivem různých sociálních změn mění, nebo je ovlivňuje. S tím se mění i ustálené vztahy, očekávání a tradice spj até s rodinným životem. Mění se také sociální postavení jednotlivých členů rodiny - muže, ženy a dítěte. V souvislosti s feministickou vlnou zájmu o problémy žen v soudobých společnostech se poslední dobou objevuje čím dál častěji požadavek rovnoměrné pozornosti problematice proměn mužství a otcovství.

Protein import into mitochondria and peroxisomes of parasitic protists

The presented thesis includes three related projects, that are linked by a common interest in the evolution of eukaryotic organelles and machineries that import proteins into these compartments. The first project considers the possibility of peroxisomes (eukaryotic organelles known in aerobic organisms) being conserved in two related anaerobic protists: a free-living amoeba Mastigamoeba balamuthi and a parasite Entamoeba histolytica. The most important hint for the presence of peroxisomes was the discovery of proteins that are homologous to known components of the peroxisomal protein import machinery. The second project aims to characterize the unknown protein translocase of the inner membrane (TIM) in the mitosomes (extremely reduced mitochondria) of an anaerobic protozoan Giardia intestinalis. We have discovered an important subunit of the mitosomal translocase (Tim44), which usually tethers the Hsp70/PAM (presequence translocase-associated motor) complex to the TIM translocon. The last project shows that the protein translocase of the outer mitochondrial membrane in trypanosomatids is related to a typical eukaryotic channel Tom40. This finding is important because the absence of Tom40 was previously considered an ancestral feature of trypanosomatids.

The thesis aims to provide basic information and a holistic overview of securities, especially their adjustment in the legislation. The thesis is based on the current wording of the legislation which are especially Act no. 89/2012 Coll. according the New Civil Code. The first part of the thesis is about the basic distribution of the securities and is characterized in detail the issue of securities legislation. Subsequently is described capital market functioning in the framework of the standard market economy. The practical part is devoted to collecting data from the lay public and experts. The aim of the survey is if the capital market is properly treated after a change in legislation. The method is a statistical evaluation. The thesis also shows how practically proceed in the beginnings of securities trading on the Internet.

FDI flows are described as a result of investment incetives, economic situation, political situation and atractivity of countries. The main aim is to compare countries FDI flows based on this characteristics.

Formation of the Israeli political elites, 1919-1949

The submitted dissertation seeks to analyze the political process associated with the origins of the lsraeli polity during the British Mandate over Palestine. Particular attention is given to the political turmoil within two rival blocks: the Zionist Labor movement and the Revisionist movement. The structure of the dissertation reflects the fact that Haim Weizmann, the longserving president of the Zionist Organization, and his then dominant General Zionists were sidelined at the turn of 1920s and 1930s by the two activist trends of Zionist politics that came to dominate Israeli society from that time forward. Modeling Risk of a Credit Portfolio

Úvěrové riziko je ve finančním sektoru stále největším zdrojem rizika a jeho špatné měření a řízení může vést k obrovským ztrátám. Tato diplomová práce se zabývá metodami modelování (měření) velikosti úvěrového rizika na portfoliové bázi. První část se zabývá regulatorním přístupem k měření úvěrového rizika, který vychází z posledních regulatorních opatření známých pod názvem Basel II. Věnuje se zejména pokročilejšímu IRB (Internal Rating Based) přístupu. Druhá část je věnována modelu CreditMetrics společnosti J.P. Morgan. Výsledky obou přístupů jsou demonstrovány na korporátním úvěrovém portfoliu jedné z největších českých bank (České spořitelny, a.s.). Veškerá potřebná data, výpočty a výsledky jsou uložena na přiloženém CD.

The implementation process of operative procedures in NGO

The period we live in, is characterised by many changes - changes of economical, political and social life. These changes involve all the subjects of the national economy, including the non - governmental organisations. If these organisations want to work effectively, they have to learn, how the changes can be used for their own profit. At the same time, they have to notify own internal risk factors. There for they can learn management of changes, which has specific tools, above all the human-sources utilisation leading to the realisation of defined objectives. This thesis deals both, the theoretical issues of management of changes and its practical aspects. The practical work is based on describing the process of the formation and application new labour-procedures in NGO called Diecezni charita Plzeň. The process starts by identification of problems, determination of tools and aims. It goes on the initiation of the labor-procedures and finally concludes by the evaluation of the process.

Design of a small water reservoir

The Master´s thesis is elaborated in a study small reservoirs. It is a container with a homogeneous dam with associated security object. The technical design solution tank based on the ČSN 75 2410 "Small water reservoirs". Water reservoir will serve as an ecological and landscaping features in the landscape. Will increase the biodiversity of the landscape and contribute to the ecological stability of the territory. The littoral zone of the reservoir area will serve in the future as a habitat for a variety of organisms. Accompanying vegetation serve to integrate small water tank to the ecological corridor.
