Distinction in the sociological theory of Pierre Bourdieu

This thesis called Distinction in Sociological Theory of Pierre Bourdieu is mostly a theoretical writing focused on a description of the distinction mechanism.The main source of information is an almost identically called book written by the above mentioned french sociologist and antropologist, the mechanism of distinction is after a detailled introspection set into a larger context of Bourdieu's theory. In the beginning a few key notions are presented, inclusive of a short biography, introduction of certain sources of inspiration and, most important, the position of Bourdieu's theory within an almost classical dualism of paradigms. The next part describes in full detail some key theoretical notions on which a later understanding of Bourdieu's distinction is based. The mechanism itself is questionned with a particular stress on individual differences not having been captured in previous parts of the text. It is especially the importace of mental pair dualities within the a classifying mental operation and their social consequences, such as a proces of social inclusion, a creation of social identity a complementary running of social exclusion. The ontogenetical beginnings. The application of Merleau-Ponty's philosophy on early development psychology

This work wishes to present the possibilities of phenomenological interpretation of world and development of infant. It utilizes the philosophy of Maurice Merleau-Ponty for this goal. It analyzes the ground for phenomenological philosophy in psychology and presents in main features the philosophy of mentioned author. It shows contemporary psychological view on ontogenetical beginnings of perception and it reflects these psychological ideas from the position of Merleau-Ponty's philosophy. It stresses the necessity to clear up the character of infant's world at all, before we start to explain its individual aspects. In a key part, this work deals with philosophical interpretation of developmental "beginnings" and it postulate the early development as a "looking for home" in a world. At the beginning of this process, there are other people. In the conclusion this work discusses methodological consequences of this conception for ontogenetical psychology.

The impact of the Delaware effect upon European law

The Abstract DELAWARE EFFECT AND ITS INFLUENCE ON EUROPEAN LAW My thesis deals with Delaware effect in the United States and its effect on European law. The short introduction of my thesis contains the summary of the purpose of my thesis. The aim of my thesis is to compare the situation in the United States and in Europe in respect of incorporations of companies and to find out if the similar competition between corporate charters as it occurred in the United States can occur or has already occurred in Europe. After short introduction, I describe the beginnings of the competition between states in the USA to attract incorporations. Moreover, I describe the triumph of Delaware in this competition. Further, I describe the legal system of Delaware and its uniqueness with respect to corporation law. I characterize main theories concerning regulatory competition, I lay stress on Race to the Top and Race to the Bottom theory. In subsequent part of my thesis I compare the situation in the USA and Europe in respect of company's incorporation. I refer to main theories concerning incorporation, the Seat Theory and the Theory of Incorporation. Possibilities and Limits of Self-Sufficiency of a chosen Non-Profit Organization

The theoretical part describes every possibility of sponsorship of nongovernmental organizations with stress to the possibilities, which contribute to their self-sufficiency, further a sponsorship of churches from their beginning to the present times and its component is the detailed analysis of single financial sources of churches, too. There are mentioned examples of variety forms of the sponsorship of churches in some other countries for possibility of an international comparison. The final chapter of the theoretical part deals with the legal status of churches in the Czech Republic. In the practical part is The Czechoslovak Hussite Church introduced in its historical development from its beginning to the present, its contemporary organizational structure and there is also briefly described financial security of this church during its existence and there are analyzed its incomes belonging under the concept "self-sufficiency". At the end of the thesis there is description and the analysis of sources, which are used by the parish community of the Czechoslovak Hussite Church in Hradec Králové with proposals for its further possible acquisition of its full self-sufficiency.

Burnout, focusing on the burn-up for teachers

The thesis begins with specification and characteristics of chosen topic. The introduction covers description and comparison of definitions from various authors. Burn-out process is covered exactly here including its beginning and continuance. High detail is focused on prevention of this syndrome stressing social support, psychological hygiene and human relaxation. There is mentioned a list of several professions which are endangered by burn-out most notably describing the profession of teacher in the largest analysis. Each chapter also highlights the impact on concrete part of burn-out process and again provides high detail for the role of teacher. Phenomenon of stress is covered specifically mentioning its part how it can start burn-out process. The theoretical part of this thesis also covers ways how to detect presence of burn-out syndrome. Practical part compares level of vulnerability to burn-out between teachers on two different schools, where first school is based in the capital city of Prague and the second one in Middle Bohemia. The results from each school are described and analyzed separately at first and then compared together. The whole thesis ends with final thoughts based on compared outcomes from the practical part.

Nuclear powerplant Temelin from the scenic, estetic and cultorological point of view

This paper deals with nuclear power plant Temelín and its aesthetical, social, cultural and landscape context. The power plant is located in South Bohemia, Czech Republic). Theoretical part of this paper begins with definition of aesthetical paradigm. Influence of history and culture is stressed here. History of europe landscape painting and some important chapters of philosophy and aesthetic are mentioned. Next part deals with social, cultural and landscape changes of Czech rural areas and whole landscape in 20th century. It is focused mainly on South Bohemia and Vltavotýnsko region to show social and historical context of nuclear powr plant Temelín, its construction and influence. Practical part of this paper begins with geographical and demographica! descritpion of chosen locality. It is followed hy summary of power plants influence on the landscape. Paper sums up results of previous studie s and defmes methodology and theory of the qualitative research. Final part contains results and discussion. Results of aesthetica1 perception of nuclear power plant are discussed and put into wider context of changes of Czech countryside and landscape.

THE ANALYSIS OF THE ROMANIAN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT -- FROM THE BEGINNING OF THE TRANSFORMATION UNTIL THE INTEGRATION TO THE EUROPEAN UNION

Romania, as other Central and Eastern European countries, was after 1989 in the position to make the choice regarding its future development. Economists have added a new word to their vocabulary -- the economic transformation. The work focuses on the process of economic transformation in Romania after 1989. The first part deals with the main theoretical approaches to the process of transformation. The theoretical part is followed by the analysis of the most important economical indicators and other features of the Romanian economic transformation. The accession of Romania to the European Union is also stressed out. The conclusion of the work summarises the successes and failures of the transformation process in Romania.

Psychological factors influencing creation of working enviroment

Mater's thesis (hereinafter MT) is focused on working enviroment analysis in Adventura ltd. The main stress is put on practical aspects derivited from the teoretical background. MT is divided into 4 parts. In the beginning hypothesis is settled. The second part focus on theory for formulation of the teoretical starting point. The third pard consist of detailed analyses of the company enviroment. Recommendations for managament of the company are included in the final part.

Parkinson's disease (PD) is the second most common ageing-related neurodegenerative disorder after Alzheimer's disease and the prevalence in population is increasing. The characteristic movement disorder is caused by selective dopaminergic neurons loss, while the mechanism of this neurodegeneration is not well understood. Increasing evidence points out the key role of vicious cycle of microglial overactivation and oxidative stress, while the questions "where it begins" and "how to stop it" remain without clear answers. This thesis investigates implication of peripheral inflammation as a deteriorating circumstance and possible inductor of brain inflammation and progressive dopaminergic neurodegeneration. The teacher beginner

The final work deals with the personality of teachers and the basic stressors, which make their work more difficult and which can be one of the reasons of resignation. In the practical part author used the questionnaires to find the rate of the load for the beginning teachers. The work is based on the literature listed at the end and on the questionnaire survey, which was performed with 49 respondents. The final work provides suggestions how to reduce the stress, which is unfortunately a natural part of the teaching profession, or how to prevent it.
