TITLE: Development of phonemic hearing in kindergartens AUTHOR: Bc. Pavlina Matouskova DEPARTMENT: Department of Primary Education SUPERVISOR: PaedDr. Ehler, Ph.D. ABSTRACT The basic prerequisite for coping with educational skills, especially reading, is sufficient development of phonemic hearing in kindergarten. The improvement of the level of phonetic- phonological grade at preschool children can be provided with suitable equipment and methodology for teachers. The aim of the thesis is an analysis of phonemic hearing at children in the last year of preschool education and the related creation of own model of activities and aids. The level of phonemic hearing was carried among children from selected kindergartens. One of them focused on the development of phonemic hearing and worked with the proposed model and in the rest of the kindergartens the prevention of speech therapy was held in accordance with school curricula. Initial analysis was done at the beginning of the school year and comparing of results was done in the second half. The conclusion is an objective assessment of effectiveness of proposed actions in the practice. System of care for people with deafblindness in the Czech Republic

This thesis deals with deafblind people and their lives. The work investigates how the system of care for these people works in the Czech Republic and how the clients themselves are satisfied with this care. The introductory theoretical part provides basic information about dual sensory impairment, it explains the concept of "deafblindness", describes its classification, etiology and diagnosis. Attention is also given to several fundamental pillars of care of people with deafblindness, such as communication, education, social services, career success, socialization, aids, etc. Second part of this thesis consists of research that has been done using questionnaires with aim to determine how the care of the deafblind is implemented in the Czech Republic and how it is evaluated by particular clients. Survey results have provided personal reference of deafblind individuals about services, organizations and aids, about their frequency and availability. Issue of Integration of Foreign Pupils with Focusing on Their Origin Country

The aim of this thesis is to analyze and evaluate the current situation of the integration in the Czech education system focusing on the issues and specifics inclusion of foreign pupils and on consideration of the impact of pupils' country of origin on the process. The theoretical part of diploma thesis mentions the reasons for the integration of foreigners. Moreover, it highlights why and from where they are coming to the Czech Republic. It captures the current legislation and the rights of foreigners who want to settle permanently in the Czech Republic. Further, it shows the analysis of different ways of educating pupils with special needs, the placement of foreign pupils at Czech elementary schools and intercultural differences, which may have impact on pupils' integration. The practical part focuses on comparing the available theoretical knowledge and the everyday reality of Czech teachers who teach foreign pupils and can work on their daily practice. Based on the comparison of theoretical and practical knowledge the author explains the personal point of view on the integration of foreign pupils and suggests some ideas how to overcome mentioned shortcomings....

Preparation of engaged couples for marriage in selected vicariates HK Diocese

The diploma thesis shows the current state and level of marriage preparation of the engaged couples within the Hradec Kralove diocese border region. The thesis examines and evaluates the status of the preparations in four vicariates in connection with the related church documents. The particular vicariates together with the qualified personnel are introduced and number of marriages for the past ten years is listed for a reference. The thesis characterises four different types of engaged couples and introduces several types of preparations. The current state of the preparations in the region is surveyed and findings are presented in the thesis. Among the preparations guided by a priest the thesis describes additional tools and techniques complementing the preparations. The final part of the thesis is dedicated to these complementary preparation tools and techniques which are presented, compared and evaluated here. The diploma thesis notices preparation of engaged couples with respect to the formation of the future family, which is encouraged by the thesis.

Modern training equipmens for ice hockey

Title of work: Modern training equipmens for ice hockey Goal of work: Using standardized interviews to determine the frequency of use of modern hockey equipment abroad, then through a questionnaire survey, the frequency and the current status of the use of modern hockey equipment for ice hockey players aged 12-13 years in the Czech Republic. According to the findings recommend examples of training exercises that are suitable for the development of skills for players to prepare for the ice and off the ice. Method: Observation, indirect observation, document analysis, questionnaire survey, data analysis, standardized interview. Results: The results of the thesis we have shown that the frequency and condition using modern training aids for ice hockey in the Czech Republic compared to other countries at a low level. Some tools are used by us all. 40% of those surveyed teams in our equipment in use. On this basis, I recommend examples of training exercises with the use of modern equipment for ice hockey, and I brought a few suggestions on how to properly work with modern tools. Tittle: Current possibilities of swimming aids for more effective training in triathlon and swimming Objectives: The main reason of this paper is to map the swimming tools which are available at this time on the market and which are the most used in the swimming practice. The next goal of this paper is to introduce the particular tools and briefly describe their attributes. In the conclusion we will make summary list of the tools and their usage in swimming and triathletes practice. Methods: The work is the nature of the search. Critically evaluates the actual status of the issue and provides a summary overview of swimming aids. Results: We found out that on the current market is many swimming tools which we can use for improvement in the swimming and for the better practice. We created overwiev of the swimming tools which we introduced as summary graph. We introduced every tool and we explained their description and their usage in every yearly practice cycle. Income Tax Determination According to Materials and Information

This diploma thesis is focused on the procedure of the tax administrator in case of non-fulfillment of the prescribed duties imposed on the taxpayer during the proving and the subsequent transition to the tax determination according to instruments. The introductory part defines the basic theoretical concepts of tax administration and the way in which tax is determined. The analytical part is devoted to the current jurisprudence of the Supreme Administrative Court focused on the issue of tax determination according to instruments. The result is a proposal of the methodical procedure of the tax administrator for tax assessment according to instruments is compiled, which is subsequently applied on model examples.

Specific developmental disordersmof scholasticskills and their reeducation

The thesis describes specific learning disabilities in general with the main accent on dyslexia, dysgraphia and dysortographia. It states causes and displays of SLD and their reflec- tion in children's mental well and the life of their families. It also deals with general reeduca- tion methods of learning disabilities and specific methods of dyslexia, dysgraphia and dysortographia remedy including outline of tools needed for reeducation. It presents care sys- tem for children with SLD in Czech Republic or who may be involved in care and education of these individuals. There are following methods used for the research in the practical part of the thesis: analysis of documentation, observation, interview and processing of casuistries. The research took place in two institutions, which deal with care about children with SLDs. It is the goal of the practical part of the bachelor thesis to present two institutions working with children with SLD, analyze their remedy methods and assemble casuistries of two selected students.
