Financial analysis of non-profit organizations in a competitive environment

The aim of the diploma thesis is to answer the question which factors influence the growth of financial capacities of non-profit organizations. To do this, I will use the methods of financial analysis and will also identify qualitative factors which, in my opinion, can influence the competitiveness of the nursery. My resources will be annual reports and co-operation with nursery managers. For the final determination of the factors that affect, I will use the questionnaire survey of parents.

The development of Czech-German cooperation in pre-schools: the road to its origins, the current situation and possible future

The proposed thesis 'The development of Czech-German cooperation in pre-schools: the road to its origins, the current situation and possible future' focuses primarily on the preschool education and its connection with the Czech-German cooperation. Initially, the goal is to briefly present the common Czech-German history and the key events that resulted in the cooperation between both countries. After a brief sidestep into history author introduces preschool education in Europe to achieve a better understanding of the context of this thesis. Education, especially the preschool one, is gaining importance and is currently a debated topic on multinational levels. This chapter should explain the importance of pre-school education for the mutual Czech-German cooperation. Within this chapter author will also introduce and compare the educational systems of both participating countries. The last and most extensive chapter introduces the activities of the Czech-German Youth Exchange Coordination Centre Tandem in detail and the insight into its activities form the main goal of this thesis.

Quality of sports services in institutions for children aged 3-6 years (preschool education)

Title: Quality sports services in institutions intended for children aged 3-6 years (preschool education) Objectives: The main objective of this bachelor thesis is to determine the quality and satisfaction of parents with sports services provided in institutions for preschool children and proposals for its improvement. Methods: Marketing research was carried out using a modified SERVQUAL questionnaire in the written form. This questionnaire was given to the teachers of each class in the kindergartens and then was passed to the parents of children. Results: The results of this thesis show that neither of the two nurseries does provide services with which the parents were fully satisfied. After the comparison of the two nursery schools, the kindergarten in Holešovice came out with better results than the institution in Spořilov. The biggest problem was attribute of tangibles that was mainly due to the location of the both kindergarten buildings and premises for physical activity. Title: The quality of sport-related services in institutions designed for children aged 3-6 years (pre-school education). Objectives The quality of objective of this work is to determine the quality of sport-related services in day-care centers in the Czech Republic. Methods: This marketing research is going to be conducted using standardized methods of SERVQUAL in the form of a written questionnaire, which is going to be left to the principals of selected day-care centers who will further hand it to the parents of the children. Results: The results of this marketing research show that neither of the two nurseries provides such good sport services so that the parents were fully satisfied. The day-care center of Matjuchinova in Zbraslav presented itself with the better results. The results of the second institution - the day-care center of Psáry - turned out very badly and many of the local provided sports services can be described as poor. Family policy of the Great Coalition in Germany (2005 - 2009)

The Federal Republic of Germany is among the countries with the lowest birthrates in Europe; Germany's total fertility rate has fluctuated between 1.3 and 1.4 children per woman since the 1970s. Presented thesis "Family policy of the grand coalition in the FRG 2005- 2009" deals with measures taken by the Federal Ministry of Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth, headed by Ursula von der Leyen, and their impact on the birthrate and other indicators such as the employment rate among mothers and the risk of poverty. In this period of time, the concept of family policy was changed towards the Scandinavian model, which supports Work-Life-Balance. The effects of the introduction of year-long income- dependent parental benefits, which are extended by two months when the parents alternate in care, are analyzed in this thesis. The second researched measure is the massive support of the expansion of child care opportunities for children under three years of age. The thesis shows that the total fertility rate has not shown any significant change; nevertheless, the decrease in specific fertility rate among highly educated women was halted and the employment rate among mothers increased. The effects will only be able to be complexly assessed after a longer period of time.

Work satisfaction of nursery school teachers

The work focuses on the selection and further study of factors concerning work satisfaction of kindergarten teachers. The theoretical part of the final bachelor's thesis presents findings from literature review concerning definitions, signs, determinants and theories of work satisfaction and related subjects. Consequently the work concentrates on the analysis of real life assets related to kindergarten teachers' work performance. A questionnaire survey in the practical part of this work identifies the most explanatory factors of work satisfaction. Another focus is on the importance of other variables influencing the general work satisfaction of kindergarten teachers. Levels of current work satisfaction of kindergarten teachers are then compared among the three regions within the Czech republic. The survey results together with theoretical findings may provide more detailed point of view under the given conditions as well as serve to managers with topics for consideration and resposible approach to this subject. Planning of school capacity in the Central Bohemia Region

Planning of school capacity in the Central Bohemia Region Abstract The objective of this thesis is to show the connection among demographic trends and the development of the educational system in the Central Bohemia Region from a quantitative point of view. This thesis focuses on repletion of school facilities, availability of education at pre-primary and basic levels and the possibility to estimate the basic parameters of the education system in future years. The first part addresses issues of methodology and the education system in general and theoretical level. It focused on the literature and data sources on the subject, describing the educational system in the Czech Republic and the development of educational legislation, explaining the methodology used in the second part of the thesis. The second part deals with specific application to data from the Central Bohemia Region. This section shows the numbers of children in nursery schools, pupils in basic schools and repletion of school facilities found in the districts of the Central Bohemia Region. The spatial distribution of school facilities is shown by proportional symbol technique. Nursery schools in Tabor in the years 1948 - 2010

Subject of the thesis named Nursery Schools in the Town of Tabor between 1948 - 2010 is to describe the historical development of nursery schools in Tabor. The main goal of the thesis is to research development of Tabor's nursery schools. The thesis is divided into ten chapters. These concerns with the history and characteristic of the town Tabor, preschool institutions and its development in Bohemia, school system in Tabor, nursery schools in Tabor till 1945 and after 1945, history of four oldest nursery schools in Tabor, criteria of public holidays and children's healthcare in four oldest nursery schools in Tabor and comparison on base of chronicles. The thesis is a historical study and analysis ensuing from primary sources. There is used a historical method and primary documents and comparative methods in the thesis. The issue is research of the nursery school development in Tabor between 1948 and 2010.

Jaroslav Kalous, Ph.D. ABSTRACT: This thesis deals with the differences in the management of the school director of foreign nationality and the director of the Czech nationality. Also searches answers to the question whether the difference in the management of private and public schools. Author relies on literature, documents dealing with education abroad, studies of other work and practical experience. The elaborated study is supported by research, which was supposed to answer pre-defined questions and confirm or disprove the hypothesis. This research could be of beneficial to Directors of these types of school, who on the basis of the findings may reflect the facts given above, and use some of the results for their practice and to improve the quality of their work and their school.
