Záleský, František ; Dvořáková, Michaela (advisor) ; Fapšo, Marek (referee)
This master thesis deals with the issues of modern-day democracy and its didactic treatment of the way the school subject Social studies is taught at gymnázium schools. At first, the subject of democracy is discussed from many different angles, and those are compared to one another. Due to its didactic focus, the thesis partially uses school textbooks as a source. After that, great attention is given to four particular problems of the current democracy and a couple of different ways to view them. The discussed problems are inequality, education, populism, and epistemic disfiguration. Moreover, the thesis features an analysis of the approach to the subject in general education programs for gymnáziom schools. This analysis is followed up with another analysis, which deals with the treatment of the subject in the selected education programs at four different gymnázium schools, which are then compared to one another. In another subchapter, the thesis dissects the amount of attention that is paid to the problems of the current democracy in textbooks for secondary schools. These textbooks are then compared. It was discovered that general and school education programs lack a critical approach, definition of the problems, and their connection to the present day. The second part of the thesis includes...

Slivková, Barbora ; Kašpar, Ladislav (advisor) ; Suchý, Jiří (referee)
This thesis deals with the teaching of individual athletic disciplines in schools that do not have athletic facilities. The aim of the work was to compile a stack of athletic exercises that can be used for teaching by all teachers who do not have suitable facilities to teach athletics, but also by teachers who are looking for new ideas and inspiration for athletics-oriented physical education classes indoors and outdoors. The theoretical underpinning in the form of a description of school athletics and the techniques and didactics of basic athletics is followed by a research section. The research method was a non-standardized questionnaire survey, whose respondents were Prague physical education teachers at the second level of primary school, from whom, in addition to information about the availability of teaching aids and the teaching environment, it was also asked what exercises they use to teach athletics in limited conditions. These exercises, along with exercises from the literature and internet resources, became the content of a stack that was designed to contain exercises that can be used in a variety of settings to teach all of the different core athletic disciplines. How to work with film didactically in high school psychology teaching
MICHL EGRIOVÁ, Simona
This diploma thesis deals with the topic of how to do didactically work with films in the teaching of psychology at high schools. The thesis is divided into a theoretical part, which deals with the theoretical foundations of teaching psychology at high schools in the Czech Republic and abroad and it also deals with films as a didactic tool for teaching psychology and with selected mental disorders and mental illnesses. The goal of practical part was to create a specific methodology for teaching psychology at high schools using a film as a didactic tool on the topic of dissociative identity disorder, bipolar affective disorder and schizophrenia. One topic was taught in each lesson. To map what students already know about the topic, a questionnaire is designed to identify preconceptions in the field of psychology. In order to map what the students already know about the topic a questionnaire was created to find out preconceptions from the field of psychology. Students were given this questionnaire to fill in before and after class. The answers were then evaluated and compared. With the help of descriptive statistics, it was found out that all students (N=59) were better at answering questions of type "B" at the end of the lesson than they were with questions of type "A". For the "B" type of questions, there was an overall improvement in responses from 59,3 % (N=35) at the beginning of the lesson to 93,2 % (N=55) at the end of the lesson. In the case of question type "A", the success rate in the answers worsened from 74,6 % (N=44) before the lesson to 69,5 % (N=41) after the lesson. In the empirical part, an alteration of teaching is proposed after this finding.
