Comparison of competency models of headmasters at elementary schools in Prague 10

The thesis deals with the comparison of the competency models of headmaster of elementary schools in Prague 10. The theoretical part explains the basic terms as "competency", "key competency" and compares the definitions of different scientific sources. It describes their structure as well as the life cycle. Further on the thesis deals with the competency models in general and primarily with the models of the managers of the schools. The role of the competency model is highlighted as well as its reasons and its implementation. In the practical part the thesis deals with the qualitative investigation where the author compares the competency models that were created by shadowing and some other additional methods. The competencies were evaluated on base of the criteria of the competency model created by I. Lhotkova (2012). The output of the investigation is a case study in which the differences of the headmaster competencies in Prague 10, with similar conditions of leading the schools and with similar support from founders, are described. Big discrepancy in the competencies were not proved, on the other hand similar issues were detected.
Approach to evaluation of fruitfulness of the director of a school and ratings of successful school directors

The diploma Thesis stems from the finding that the human behaviour is a combined result of the push from outer environment and the human personality. The theoretical part of the study is based on the scientific literature, on documents dealing with the social standing of a school director in the society, and on the research studies dealing with the director's personality. It treats the characterisation of the personality, personal typology, properties and motivations. It brings information about the present-day concept of the success. Primarily, the attention is payed to the directors' competency a their roles in the management of the school. The research part of the diploma Thesis deals with the question of personal prerequisites and competencies, as they were found on the basis of quentionairies and data obtained from individual directors, who perform their leading role in the real environment of schools, and from the founders of these schools located on the territory of the capital of Prague. The main result of the Thesis is a summary of prerequisites needed to a successful school management from the point of view of the director's personality. Competency model for theatre acting profession

My thesis discusses competencies necessary for the profession of a stage actor and requirements and demands on such professionals. The aim of my thesis is creation of generic competency model of the profession of a stage actor, which could be useful to drama oriented theatre organizations in the Czech Republic. The thesis approaches the topic of competencies and competency approach in human resources and focuses on selected acting theories. On such theoretical foundations the competencies are identified through expert panel method and the generic competency model of acting profession is assembled. Beginning phase of career manager for non-formal education

This thesis deals with the beginning phase of career manager for organization non- formal education. The work examines the process that precedes the onset school manager to executive positions primarily in terms of motivation, expectations and subsequent reality. It describes the initial phase of his work in a new role in life from the perspective of the management of school facilities and other activities associated with this process . The work is mapped to what extent the entrance to the Director and his previous preparation reflects on the development of controlled organization and quality of education provided . It also describes how to correspond to the expectations of the individual manager of educational facilities with a daily reality in the context of changing conditions providing non-formal education, based on education legislation and the overall development of society in the approach to the use of leisure time. Educational needs of teachers in leisure education

The theme of the thesis is to identify the educational needs of teachers in leisure education. The theoretical part is focused on the identification and analysis of educational needs. It also focuses on staff training, their competencies and the use of competency approach to their education. The theoretical part concludes with a chapter on after-school education and the teachers' activities. The aim of the research is to identify the educational needs of these teachers and the specification of their competencies. The research section includes a survey carried out by the technique of unstructured written interviews. According to the analysis of the obtained information the competencies of teachers are specified and the competency model is created. The competency model can be used for the selection, evaluation and remuneration and other training of the teachers in after-school education. Identifying educational needs of teachers offers them themes and ideas for their professional training.
Local police and their powers in the field of supervision over the safety and uninterrupted traffic flow on highways

The competency of municipal police related to road safety This thesis deals with the competency of municipal police focused only on the issue of road safety surveillance. The main purpose of the study is to present basic orientation in particular authorizations to represent public law when enforcing road safety regulations. The study is composed of three main chapters devided in relevant subchapters, each of them dealing with different aspects of the administrative law. The first chapter briefly describes the origins of enacting the municipal police as a municipal body, pointing out the past difficulties, followed by the summary of the law regulation establishing the municipal police and controlling its activities by the municipal self-government. It also defines the municipal police as a part of the administrative law. In the main second chapter the single competencies are described, divided into subchapters by its source according to the Municipal police Act and the Road traffic Act. The permition to control speeding and testing the drunk drivers are most widely described, followed by the issue of towing vehicles.
