Obrazová databáze navržená pro rychlé a robustní vyhledávání snímků
Horáček, Ondřej ; Flusser, Jan
The task of the paper is to find originals of modified images, tipicallz stolen and republished on the web. Our problem is specific in terms of the database size millions of photos), demanded speed of the search (seconds), and unknown image modifications (loss of quality, radiometric degradation, etc.). The proposed method is based on image preprocess for normalization, retrieval of candidates from image index, and the candidate verification. Based on wide experiments, it was shown that the success rate of the search depends on the level of image modification.

Searching for Electrochemical Reduction Mechanism of Azidophenyl DNA Labels
Daňhel, Aleš ; Trošanová, Zuzana ; Balintová, Jana ; Hocek, Michal ; Fojta, Miroslav
This contribution brings new information to sporadic scientific results concerned to electrochemical reduction of aromatic azides. Selected compounds used as perspective DNA labels or their structural constituents such as, 4-azidophenyltrifluoroboronic acid, 4-azidophenyl modified deoxycytidine and next probable analogous compounds and/or products of their reduction, were voltammetrically studied and compared to each other in order to reveal a mechanism of their electrochemical reduction at mercury electrodes in aqueous media. Preliminary results obtained by cyclic voltammetry at mercury and carbon based electrodes and by mass spectrometry of the products isolated from batch electrolysis on mercury pool by preparative chromatography are discussed.

The final part is dedicated to movement planning, especially to calibrated antenna weighting influence on device’s movement characteristics, test results implementation into the observation program and arm movement planning considering the homogeneous calibration measurement layout.

Mobile Business Intelligence
Křižka, Radek ; Pour, Jan (advisor) ; Basl, Josef (referee)
Business Intelligence (BI) has now become a core part to many businesses due to the benefits it brings -- the ability to access data in a common format from multiple sources and making decisions that help organization to move closer to its goals. Many workers today spend most of their time away from their office and can't easily access corporate data. The use of the Internet on mobile devices has changed the way people consume information. Embracing mobile computing means having the ability to access information anywhere, anytime and as a result consumers can make decisions faster. Thesis is focused on mobile Business Intelligence and the aim is to provide o comprehensive overview of this area, examine market trends, define critical success factors for implementation projects, and introduce mobile BI platform QlikView. Furthermore it explains the differences between traditional and mobile BI, explores benefits and drawbacks of these tools and the challenges that must be addressed. The reader will learn what types of employees and tasks are suited for mobile BI programs and outlined critical success factors might be valuable information for any company planning implementation of mobile BI tools.

Machek, Jakub ; Štaif, Jiří (advisor) ; Mocná, Dagmar (referee) ; Holubec, Stanislav (referee)
- Jakub Machek Prague Illustrated Courier. The Prague Penny-press as a Window into the World of Common Men. This work is dedicated to early sensational pictorial press (Pražský Illustrovaný Kurýr and its less successful predecessors) and its urban readers, as an example of the rising Fin de siècle popular culture in the Czech lands and its significance for revealing fundamental social and political changes that took place at the turn of the 20th century. During this era, even the members of lower social classes broadened their economical and cultural potency and thus capacity to absorb the development of new common culture generated by the rapid industrialization and urbanization. Production and reception of emerging popular press is analysed as a marker of the new modern urban experience and its social influences. Global pattern of successful mass daily press was, however, modified for Prague audience, its specific local beliefs, values and desires, distinctively different from those of western urban centre dwellers.

Front end for software receiver
Slezák, Jakub ; Horský, Pavel (referee) ; Šrámek, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with a theoretical analysis of the basic parameters of receivers, input circuit architecture and signal digitization. According to the specified assignment it is outlined block scheme of front end for software receiver with specified components and the total bilance is calculated. Individual parts of the system are designed and realized. This is a set of four input filters for bandwidths: short waves up to 30 MHz, 87,5-108 MHz, 144-148 MHz and 174-230 MHz. The main point of design is a circuit containing a low-noise amplifiers, switches, and two amplifiers with adjustable amplification. Mainly are used integrated circuits from Analog Devices corporation. To control the various switches and adjustable amplifiers was designed a separate panel, which is connected to the main circuit via a cable. In the last phase was the whole system and its components subjected to measurements. Thanks to a number of mounted SMA connectors it is possible to measure different parts of the system and we are able to modify it partially.
