Education focused on marriage and parenthood for children with mild mental retardation

Rigorous thesis processes the level of knowledges and skills of pupils with mild mental handicap in education of marriage and parenthood in Czech and Slovak Republic. The main aim was to map and specify the pupils' knowledge and skills in 8th and 9th class in the area of marriage and parenthood in Czech and Slovak Republic and to map their teachers' knowledge and attitudes in the same area of education. The another aim was to find out if the state, where pupils live, their age, gender and their family background can have the influence to their answers. We also find out, if there is any differences between teachers' answers from different states. Our thesis consists of four chapters. In first we allocated elementary characteristics of terms mental handicap, mental retardation, pupil with mild mental handicap and it's unbringing and education in Czech and Slovak republic. The music education in the waldorf school

V uplynulých letech jsem měla možnost podílet se na tvorbě školního vzdělávacího programu waldorfských škol. Během práce vystoupila jistá úskalí, která bylo třeba řešit. Kromě obtíží spojených s pochopením nové koncepce cílů, kompetencí a očekávaných výstupů, zahrnujících oblast průřezových témat, autoevaluace atd., kterými jistě prošla každá škola, se především na úrovni oborů a předmětů střetávala koncepce waldorfské pedagogiky s koncepcí Rámcového vzdělávacího programu pro základní vzdělávání (dále RVP ZV). V mnoha předmětech se ukázalo rozčlenění očekávaných výstupů do jednotlivých ročníků jako obtížné především proto, že nebylo možné jejich současný obsah, tak jak na waldorfských školách probíhá (a o němž jsou učitelé přesvědčeni, že je ideální), prostě včlenit do nově vzniklého programu. Je známo, že podle waldorfské pedagogiky žáci probírají mnohá témata v jiných ročnících než žáci základních škol majících jiné vzdělávací programy. Při třídění očekávaných výstupů v některých oblastech učitelé konstatovali, že znění samotných výstupů je natolik konkrétní, že více než co jiného připomíná pouze jinak formulované učivo. Liturgical qualifications of church organists:ideals and reality

Liturgy is the supreme expression of the Roman Catholic Church and that is the reason we must pursue it as well as we can ass it is mentioned in the Constitution on the Holy Liturgy Sancrosanctum concilium. Liturgical music and singing are an integral part of the Divine Service, it should be properly mastered by organists and other musicians who participate on the service. That is why I dedicate a substantial part of my work to the liturgy itself. The organists should also know regulations and directions under which liturgical music is performed. That is the purpose of the second part of my work. The results of the research described in the third part of the work show that the majority of organists perform their profession in a very good standard, that the quality of their work does not depend on the size of the community they live in. Nevertheless, those coming from smaller settlements might have more problems. They are mostly well qualified and educated musicians. They also try to be good Christians but their theological education is a bit worse. Litoměřice Diocese offers them further education in the form of regular courses and majority of them gladly participate and appreciate them. Ventilation values of elementary and middle school students during their physical education classes

Title: Ventilation values ofelementary and middle school students during their physical education classes. Dissertation goal: To find out volume ofventilation values of elementary and middle school students during their physical education classes. To accomplish tlůs goal we divided the work into three fazes: - laboratory endurance test of primary school students - measuring heart rate with sport-testers Polar Vantage NV during physical education classes - calculating the amount ofventilation during PE classes using heart rate results and laboratory endurance test results Process used in the project: To find out the amount ofventilations in primary school students during their physical education classes we used, laboratory endurance test and heart rate measuring test. We used regression line to obtain ventilation values during PE classes. Results: The results are concrete values of ventilation of thirty six students from two primary schools during their physical education classes. Average value of ventilation in the group ZŠ Petřiny 7.class is 1105 litters per PE-lesson, in the group ZŠ Petřiny 5. class is 1075 litters per PE-lesson, in the group ZŠ Mikulandská 7. class is 1596 litters per PE-lesson and in the group ZŠ Mikulandská 5.class is 1285 litters per PE-lesson. Music and words in the chamber cycles Lukáš Hurník

The emphasis of this thesis was put on a complex analysis of two cycles, which belong to the rather abundant vocal output of Lukáš Hurník. A second chapter became essential which explicitly discusses these aspects in detail. There were several factors which motivated me to choose this topic: musical and literary content and its parameters as well as the emerging views on pedagogical interpretation in a current school. However, I did not primarily follow the exact explication of these incitations, which would normally be conclusive for the chosen compositions. I also did not determine the exact educational level in which these compositions could be used. This offers numerous variable possibilities of usage, depending on which result of the analysis will be preferred by a particular educator, to which purpose and in what situation he decides to use this composition. The main interest was therefore to make sure, that certain impulses to this interpretation would be clearly evident in the results of these analyses but simultaneously would not claim to be dogmatically untouchable. This work is about contemporary vizuality and especialy about photography in art education process. I think that picture and photography today in art education concepts is very important and can to children help to decode many latent symbols and informations. My work will give some keys for understand very difficult problems, which are saved into reality. Look at the real scenes of world and at pictures is the same as walk through the photographic gate. This GATE contains many other wals which way the children can use. Photography can be one of many ways how transformed and think reality, how discover mysteries of life and how touch a part of real time. Children and vizuality is one big area for art and art-education at school, especialy on basic school. The influence of multicultural education on attitudes and prosocial behavior of the majority towards Gypsies

This dissertation focuses on the affiliation of the majority in the Czech Republic to Gypsies and on possible effects on their relationship. Especially, expressed ethnical attitudes and prosocial behavior of adolescents to Gypsies and effectiveness of the multicultural education are studied. The score of respondent' s ethnical attitudes were acquired by a distribution of the "Gypsy Scale" questionnaire. Frequency of helping behavior was measured in experimental situation in which the respondent could help either a member of one group or a member of another group. Data acquired from the "Gypsy Scale" questionnaire was computed by univariate analysis of variance (ANOV A). The occurrence or absence of helping behavior towards the members of majority group or members of Gypsy group was computed by chi square test. When speaking of testing the effect of multicultural education t - test was used. The results showed significant relation between expressed ethnical attitudes and both education and region. The fact that there was not confirmed relationship between help and ethnicity of the person in need was the major finding of the study.
