First, there is described the author's personal experience of bereavement and subsequently the internal positive changes related to posttraumatic growth are analyzed in this part. Second, written materials obtained from bereaved women are used and analyzed. We describe the process of coping with their traumatic loss and the potential positive changes that occurred after certain period of time. Using qualitative methods of research and technique of analysis, there have been proposed some possible areas of PTG after experiencing a bereavement.
