Hosnedlová, Štěpánka ; Kubíček, Tomáš (advisor) ; Mocná, Dagmar (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to examine the development of a literary character, Danny Smiřický, reoccuring in many of Josef Škvorecký's novels and representing both the role of a storyteller and a protagonist. The work mainly focuses on the way Danny Smiřický's character was constructed, describes his personality, life fates, relations to other characters and in this light, also, to observe changes the Czech society was undergoing throughout the twentieth century. Attention is drawn to the specific language used by Danny and his peers which acts, in a remarkable way, as a means of authenticity. It also largely helps to convey the generational testimony. For the analysis, selected literary texts written by Škvorecký are used, in which Danny appears and which follow in a chronological order. The work specifically analyzes the novel's Cowards, Swell season, and Tank battalion. Danny Smiřický is often considered an autobiographical character, in other words, the alter ego of the author. This is where the importance of the character comes from. KEYWORDS Danny Smiřický, Josef Škvorecký, literary character, characteristic, autobiographical elements

HIBLBAUEROVÁ, Tereza
This bachelor's thesis examines the specific nutritional needs of individuals engaged in strength sports. It explores the importance of macronutrients and micronutrients, as well as the appropriate selection of supplementation to enhance performance and support recovery. In the theoretical part of the thesis, the energy balance, recommended ratio of energy substrates, and hydration are explained. Furthermore, the thesis delves into the role of dietary supplements commonly used by strength athletes. Their effectiveness and safety are assessed to guide athletes in making informed decisions regarding their use. The thesis aims to analyze the diet and overall lifestyle of individuals engaged in strength sports. The research section was conducted using a qualitative method. Data collection was carried out through semi-structured interviews with 11 informants. The first part focused primarily on the dietary habits of athletes and the variety of their diets. It also evaluated the athletes' knowledge of nutrition and the validity of the sources of this information. In the second part, I analyzed the meal plans provided by the athletes. From the results of the study, it is evident that athletes have a basic understanding of nutrition. Almost all informants have a suitable representation of macronutrients in their diet. They prioritize adequate protein intake. However, the overall energy intake was often insufficient. While meal regularity was satisfactory for almost all informants, the meal plans of some informants were not very diverse. Almost all informants mentioned including protein powder in their meal plans. The conclusions of the thesis emphasize the significance of individualized nutrition plans tailored to the specific individual and their training goals.

I also discuss the topic of sensorimotor stimulation, history, performance, tools, deep stabilization system and balance. The practical part of the study was developed by means of qualitative research in which three patients with diagnosed osteoporosis. Data collection was in the form of case studies, the components of which included anamnesis, input and output kinesiological analyses (containing several tests), posturograph and podoscope examinations. In addition, there is a description of the therapies that took place about 9 weeks. I have set three goals for my work. To chart the issues of people with osteoporosis. Then to build an exercise routine on unstable surfaces. Finally, to create an educational booklet with exercises for osteoporosis patients. My work will focus on the importance of an individual approach to the issues of people with osteoporosis. The work can be used in the clinical practice of physiotherapists or can be used for people who have been diagnosed with osteoporosis.
