Teacher burnout syndrome in the context of helping professions

Pedagogical staff is one of the most burdened professions of stress and burnout syndrome. In order to eliminate the symptoms leading to the burnout syndrome, the correct and timely intervention of the manager, as the director, is necessary. The aim of this thesis is to describe in detail the burnout syndrome in assisting professions focusing on the teacher profession and on the basis of his own in-depth case study to identify the main causes of burnout syndrome in teachers and to propose preventive measures from a managerial point of view. Therefore, the work is the task of the investigation to draw up measures for the director, as the manager to lead them to eliminate this negative phenomenon at his workplace. The theoretical part also deals with stress and depression, which are concepts related to burnout syndrome. The phases of the burnout syndrome are described and analyzed in detail, and the theoretical part deals with the burnout syndrome in detail with the teacher. In the analytical part, questionnaire survey is presented in the general plane and questionnaire survey in the subjective plane. Kindergarten teachers cooperation restructure for academic lectures

The bachelor thesis Peer observations in kindergarten as a possible method of implementing changes is focused on mutual sitting in on a class that can be an important tool for improving teacher's professional growth. The aim of this work is to map and describe the current form of observations and mutual sitting in on a class in three kindergartens from the point of view of the headmaster and teachers. This bachelor thesis is of theoretical- empirical character. The theoretical part defines solved problems and used terms. It is important for every observer to know this information. It is the only way for the activity to be performed properly and for the observations to become benefits to the kindergartens. There is also expert publications research and valid legislation at the time of submission of work, i.e. June 2018, mentioned in the work. The empirical part includes preparation, implementation and conclusions of the research survey which consist of nine interviews. Three headmasters and six teachers working at common kindergartens were respondents of the research. Research shows their views, experience, opinions, perception and attitudes to the current form of sitting in on a class and mutual observations. This bachelor thesis deals with the roles of the leading pedagogues in contemporary Czech education. There are three very important roles assigned to them - the manager, the leader and the executor of the pedagogical process. The paper examines how much school leaders and deputy directors understand these roles, how they define them and how they perform them. The thesis contains a theoretical part with the definition of the terms and the author's view of the individual roles, the practical part includes a research survey among school directors and their deputy directors. At the end of the thesis there is a list of used and quoted sources and an annex to this paper.
Forms of Harmonization of Private and Work Live of the Sandwich Generation for Managers

The thesis deals with the modern phenomenon of the sandwich generation focusing on managers. First part focuses on knowledge related to demographic pressures. It also defines the role of children and senior carers in the context of social policy in the Czech Republic. Based on the initial findings of role conflict of carers and staff my research was realized and it deals with the identification of impacts of experienced situation on the individual, who simultaneously finds himself in the role of a manager and children or senior carer, in his personal and professional life. The participants of the qualitative research underwent semi- structured interviews in which thematic areas related to the causes and circumstances of their role as caregivers and chief executive were included. Data analysis showed the impacts of factors influencing harmonization on personal and professional lifes of executives in the sandwich generation. Leadership in nongovernmental nonprofit organizations

The thesis is focused on the topic of leadership in non­governmental non­profit organizations. The thesis is focused on specifics of process of leadership in non­governmental non-profit sector with the greatest emphasis on the difference in the approaches of leadership of paid staff and volunteers, these groups of people are a very important and typical part of NGO. The thesis presents the most commonly used theories of leadership in the organizations, as well as describes the importance of leadership in the NGO. A qualitative method of data obtaining is used in the empirical part of the thesis. It is possible to describe the course of the process of leadership in NGO from interviews with the leaders and its specifics can be pointed out.
