Learning with Elements of Inquiry-based Science Education Focused on Invertebrate Animals of the School Garden for Pupils of the 2nd Grade of Primary School

The thesis delves into teaching with elements of inquiry-based education, with a focus on invertebrate animals in the school garden environment. The theoretical section addresses the instruction of invertebrate animals at the 2nd level of primary school, characterizing representatives commonly encountered by students in the school garden. Simultaneously, it identifies the potential of the school garden for natural science education. This section also describes activating teaching methods to be implemented in the proposed educational program. The practical part of the thesis thoroughly explores the design of an educational program with an emphasis on investigative elements. This program includes the production of tools for collecting and capturing invertebrate animals, such as creating insect hotels, beetle traps, and pitfall traps. This bachelor thesis deals with the comparison of the work of teaching assistants in different kindergarten classes where a child with developmental dysphasia is enrolled. The theoretical part of the thesis will focus on two main topics, namely the teaching assistant and developmental dysphasia. Developmental dysphasia is a speech disorder that kind of impaired communication skills. In the first part, the thesis will focus on the teaching assistant, his job description, forms of cooperation and communication with other teachers. The second part will describe the issue of impaired communication ability and closer specifications to developmental dysphasia. Types of developmental dysphasia and the child with developmental dysphasia in preschool age. The research is a case study of three teaching assistants in different kindergarten classes attended by children with developmental dysphasia. Training of Pupils' Reading Comprehension and Its Application in Mathematical Lexical Tasks Done Within the Czech Language Lessons in the Primary School

This diploma thesis is supporting material for working with word problems in Czech language and mathematics classes. In the theoretical part one can look at current problems related to word problem solving, methods that can be helpful for more successful pupil's word problem solving, the context of word problems in the Framework Educational Programme for Primary Education, the definition of the concept of word problem and its other phenomena in primary education and factors that influence successful word problem solving. The practical part focuses on methodological recommendations based on the interviews and research conducted. The interviews with teachers and the research investigations carried out in the first educational period are described in detail in this section. In the final part you can find sample preparations for Czech language lessons related to the word problems resulting from both parts of the work. The thesis entitled On-line teaching of pupils in the first year of primary school deals with the issue of on-line teaching of pupils in the first grades of primary school. The aim of the thesis is to compare this issue from the perspective of class teachers, parents and pupils who have received on-line teaching. In the theoretical part, the thesis deals with topics such as the characteristics of a pupil in the first year of primary school, both psychologically and physically. The general principles of working with a pupil in the first year of primary school are described. In addition, the methods and forms of work used in the regular school classroom for teaching reading and writing. The thesis also describes the basic topics such as online teaching, distance learning and the present form of teaching. The thesis also discusses programs and applications that are suitable for the online form of teaching in the first year of primary school. The practical part, using the research method of semi-structured interviews, deals with the risks and especially the benefits of online teaching in the first grades of primary school from the perspective of three different groups of respondents who have participated in the form of online teaching. The issue of gifted students in techer training

1 ABSTRACT The topic of gifted and exceptionally gifted children, students, and pupils has been receiving increasing attention in recent years. Both experts and the general public are addressing this issue. An individual approach to gifted students that respects their specific characteristics is crucial for their proper development and support of their potential, but it is difficult to achieve without quality teacher training. The aim of this work is to find out how the training of teachers for educating gifted and exceptionally gifted students is conducted and whether future teachers feel prepared to work with gifted students. In the theoretical part, the concept of giftedness and the characteristics of gifted students are defined. The possibilities of educating gifted students, including the legislative framework of this issue, are mentioned in connection with teachers' training. Furthermore, research and surveys related to teachers' readiness for educating gifted students are discussed in the theoretical part. Readiness of beginning teachers for prevention and solution of school bullying

This thesis discusses to what extent new teachers are equipped and prepared to prevent and deal with school bullying. The theoretical part aims to define used terms and explain what they entail. These terms include: new teachers, teacher typology, teacher training, bullying, stages of bullying, bullying prevention, and above all, steps to handle bullying. The practical part focuses on the conducted qualitative research, describing the chosen method, the process and its results. It offers answers to whether new teachers feel equipped and prepared to deal with and prevent school bullying or not. The main aim of the research is to find out how new teachers handle situations related to school bullying: which detection methods they use; with whom they cooperate; how they address these situations or how they would do so. Moreover, the thesis provides an insight into how prepared they feel, with their formal qualification and training, for these crisis situations.
Project teaching method as a way to develop civic competences in the 1st grade of elementary school

The thesis deals with describing and arguing the conditions under which pupils initiate their own shift within project teaching. This complexityallows pupils to engage effectivelyin their own education and to shift their own competencies, above all civic ones, as well as social and personnel ones. The first part of the thesis describes project teaching as a whole, including its definition, individual types, advantages and disadvantages. This is followed by the legal anchoring of project teaching and curricular documents involved in project teaching. There is also discussed the subject of the pupil and his education journey. It also follows part of the thesis describingthe various phases of project development,including motivation, preparation as well as evaluation criteria. The second, practical part, focuses on action research. First, it asks research questions of research and formulates a goal. Similarly,it establishes appropriate methods by which it obtains relevant data. The researchis divided into three consecutive phases. Title of the Bachelor's Thesis: Comparison of public and private education in kindergartens Abstract: The main goal of the work is to compare education in public and private kindergartens - by comparing school maturity and readiness of preschool children attending both public and private kindergartens. The theoretical framework of the work is based on the characteristics of children of preschool age, the legislative definition of kindergartens and the description of individual educational programs of different types of kindergartens. The aim of the research is to identify and analyze the needs in the field of human resource management within a small company, referred to as "Company XY". Another goal is the creation and definition of specific requirements for the HR position, which would be newly introduced within this company. The theoretical part of the diploma thesis defines the basic concepts related to HR and human resources management. It monitors the development of personnel work over time and changes in the approach and management of human resources. It relates the influence of a healthy organizational culture to the loyalty and commitment of employees and ultimately to the achievement of the organization's strategic goals. It summarizes individual personnel activities and the desired professional, general, digital and soft competencies of a personnel officer, as well as the specifics of personnel work in a small company.
