Leadership in nongovernmental nonprofit organizations

The thesis is focused on the topic of leadership in non­governmental non­profit organizations. The thesis is focused on specifics of process of leadership in non­governmental non-profit sector with the greatest emphasis on the difference in the approaches of leadership of paid staff and volunteers, these groups of people are a very important and typical part of NGO. The thesis presents the most commonly used theories of leadership in the organizations, as well as describes the importance of leadership in the NGO. A qualitative method of data obtaining is used in the empirical part of the thesis. It is possible to describe the course of the process of leadership in NGO from interviews with the leaders and its specifics can be pointed out. Inclusive education from the perspective of a manager

The Bachelor's thesis "Inclusive education from the perspective of management staff" focuses on the approach and methods of management to inclusive education in high school. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part examines the development of inclusive education in the Czech republic and the theoretical application of inclusive education in czech schools from the point of view of management. The practical part contains interviews with the management staff of schools where inclusive education has been implemented and an analysis of these interviews.
Overload of social service managers (Sources of stress overload of social services managers for people with psychiatric diagnoses)

This thesis focuses on managing stress overload in social services of social rehabilition for clients with mental disorders. The goal is to clarify the resources of the overburdened of the social service managers from the view of the managers. This thesis is divided into teoretical and empirical part, in witchteh conducted research and its results are described. Teretical part defines mental disorders and discusses possible characterizations and manifestation of behaviour within people with mentaldiseases. Nongaverment nonprofit organization and their management are disorders. An important part of thesis is chapter dealing with stress overload with focus on social service managers. All chapters of the theoretival part are based on knowledges from literature. The empirical part focuses on the conducted research with discovered sources of overload of social service managers as a focal point. Research design comes from qualitative methods. In-depth interviews were conducted with several social service managers; based on these, the areas of stress in their profession were identified in three main parts, managers in general, specifical for particular social service and overload from concurrend and cumulation of previous domain. Conflicts at work and ways how to solve them

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of workplace conflicts. The goal of this work is to compare theory and practice to identify most frequent causes of interpersonal conflicts in school-type institutions, types of conflicts appearing in such institutions and what steps are taken to deal with such conflicts. Core of the work is dedicated to analysis of current situation in two schools of different size. The goal is also to analyze current situation in two different schools dealing with conflict issues. The schools involved differ mainly in their respective size. Initial part of the work will focus on theoretical knowledge of conflicts. The issue will be described from several viewpoints. Author of the work is interested in communication per se, and further deals with conflict formation, types, causes, effects, and solutions. Second line of the theoretical part is dealing with conflicts appearing in workspaces and ways to resolve them in particular. The work includes various recommendations to resolve conflicts. Comparing theoretical knowledge with gathered information allows for the methodical part to illustrate actual state of things in schools. Title: The phenomenon of managers in the context of the Czech labor market Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to identify differences in the scope of work of managers and workers in positions referred to as managerial. The analysis of the issue with managers in practice should provide a basis for what constitutes managerial work. Subsequent analysis of the demand for managerial work will document what is required of candidates for managerial positions. These findings should lead to the resolution of the situation regarding the phenomenon of managers in the Czech Republic. Methods: In this thesis a method of qualitative and quantitative data analysis is used. The qualitative analysis uses the technique of in-depth interview which focuses on ten selected managers from different management levels. Thereafter the issue is analysed from an academic expert point of view which helps to see the issue from a wider perspective. The quantitative data analysis is applied to research the jobs ads when entering the term "manager" to the jobs.cz server. Competences of senior academics at the educational organization

The thesis deals with the definition of the term competence and competency model of a senior academic at a university. The term "competence" can be understood as a set of knowledge, skills, abilities, habits, attitudes and values of a given individual that enable him/her to perform "with competence" in some area of his/her activity. It is also possible to describe in this way the ability of a person to act correctly in a certain situation based on the use of their own resources (abilities, skills, knowledge, etc.). The definitions of competencies of staff working in educational institutions are important not only in the curriculum, where the individual in the educational field affects the personal development of individuals or groups, but also in terms of staff hierarchy, including the definition of responsibilities and competences. The thesis defines such terms as executive and university; this type of schools can be further divided into public, state and private universities. Teacher burnout syndrome in the context of helping professions

Pedagogical staff is one of the most burdened professions of stress and burnout syndrome. In order to eliminate the symptoms leading to the burnout syndrome, the correct and timely intervention of the manager, as the director, is necessary. The aim of this thesis is to describe in detail the burnout syndrome in assisting professions focusing on the teacher profession and on the basis of his own in-depth case study to identify the main causes of burnout syndrome in teachers and to propose preventive measures from a managerial point of view. Therefore, the work is the task of the investigation to draw up measures for the director, as the manager to lead them to eliminate this negative phenomenon at his workplace. The theoretical part also deals with stress and depression, which are concepts related to burnout syndrome. The phases of the burnout syndrome are described and analyzed in detail, and the theoretical part deals with the burnout syndrome in detail with the teacher. Kindergarten teachers cooperation restructure for academic lectures

The bachelor thesis Peer observations in kindergarten as a possible method of implementing changes is focused on mutual sitting in on a class that can be an important tool for improving teacher's professional growth. The aim of this work is to map and describe the current form of observations and mutual sitting in on a class in three kindergartens from the point of view of the headmaster and teachers. This bachelor thesis is of theoretical- empirical character. The theoretical part defines solved problems and used terms. It is important for every observer to know this information. It is the only way for the activity to be performed properly and for the observations to become benefits to the kindergartens. There is also expert publications research and valid legislation at the time of submission of work, i.e. June 2018, mentioned in the work. The empirical part includes preparation, implementation and conclusions of the research survey which consist of nine interviews. Three headmasters and six teachers working at common kindergartens were respondents of the research. Research shows their views, experience, opinions, perception and attitudes to the current form of sitting in on a class and mutual observations.
