Generation Z' s attitude to shocking advertising

This bachelor thesis focuses on Generation Z and its attitude towards shock advertising. The theoretical part is firstly devoted to the definition of advertising and shock advertising. Next, it introduces Generation Z, its specifics and key attitudes. The practical part of the thesis describes the attitudinal research through in-depth interviews with ten respondents. Finally, the main findings from the research are presented in the form of eight key attitudes held by Generation Z towards shocking advertising.
Photography in media and its impact on perception of objective reality

This diploma thesis describes the way by which can photojournalism operate with the audience and how it is possible to influence a view of recipients about the world around us by photography. The thesis is devided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is based on accessibility of the Czech and foreign literature and in its beginning that represents what photojournalism is and what is its role in media. A part of the opening chapter is also a discussion of ethics in the photojournalism. Furthermore, there is explanation of the process of how a recipient perceives visual communication. One of the key components of this work is a summary of how experts from the fields of photography and media see the possibility of influencing the audience with photos in the media. There are explained the concepts of the terms visual agenda setting and visual gatekeeping. The ways by which media most often manipulate a recipient are described and there is outlined also the question of objectivity in photojournalism. The end of the theoretical part is devoted to a relatively popular topic of digital photo editing in the media. Children's understanding of social mobility at primary and secondary school

The present thesis deals with primary and secondary school pupilsʾunderstanding of vertical social mobility. The aim of the thesis is to analyze and compare how pupils understand the individual social factors introduced in the theoretical part oft he thesis. The first part ofthe thesis defines the theoretical concepts underlying vertical social mobility and related areas, constructivism and childrenʾs interpretations of the world. It also presents an overview of current research. The practical part consists in a qualitative analysis. The data forthe analysis are collected through individual in-depth interview with primary and secondary school pupils. The results of the analysis are then compared with previous studies, and linked to the curriculum for civic education and social sciences. Diagnosis of High School Students' Comprehension of Selected Sociological Topics

The dissertation is looking into the diagnostics of student's understanding of the principals of society organisation in relation to thecontentof sociologicalcivic curriculumeducation and socialbasisin secondary schools. The teoretical part delimits basic sociological terms, especially social stratification, social mobility and social status. Concept of didactical content knowledge and didactical theory of curricullum reconstruction is described to connect sociological approach to school education. Current research at this area are also presented. In the practical part was implementeda research inquiry, which used semistructured depth interview for data collection. The Gathered data wereprocessedqualitatively. The measure of hierarchy in society, the cause of social stratification and social mobility options, were primarily watched in the research inquiry. Where possible, student's answers were compared to previous research inquiry results.
Schizophrenia: Impact on quality of life

Veronika Konopásková Schizophrenia: Impact on quality of life Annotation The goal of the thesis is to understand the impact of schizophrenia on quality of life of the patient. Schizophrenia is defined and its most common forms and symptoms are presented. I describe the origin, course and prognosis of the disease. I focus on the concept of relapse and suicide risk in patients with schizophrenia. Treatise on the treatment is divided into psychosocial and biological methods. I deal with the concept of Quality of life in general and in connection with schizophrenia. I discuss the problem of stigmatization of the mentally ill patients. The example of three selected organizations (Baobab, ESET-HELP, DPS "Ondřejov") illustrates the wide range of psychosocial rehabilitation programs offered for mentally ill. To capture authentically all aspects of life with schizophrenia, I conducted three in-depth interviews with persons diagnosed with schizophrenia. Aplication of quality and quantity data outputs of research to be used for follow up marketing strategy in print medias

Diploma thesis entitled "Application of Qualitative and Quantitative Research Methods into Marketing Strategy of Print Medias" discusses employment of output research data accumulated on eye-tracking, in-depth interviewing and CAWI method of research. These research outcomes are further analyzed and implemented in the development process of the EURO Business Weekly strategy in the Czech publishing market. The final evaluation is based on a mutual comparison of results which were recorded by the EURO Business Weekly in the years 2005 and 2006.
Introverted teacher in the primary school

The thesis examines the personality of an introverted teacher at elementary school. In the theoretical part, it shows the profession of teacher through the professional competences and activities of which the profession of teacher consists. Following is a brief overview of personality theories, which aims towards a deeper understanding of the personality of man and a closer understanding of the concepts of introversion and extraversion. It also addresses the strengths and weaknesses of introversion and lists four types of introverted perception of the world. The empirical part examines how the introverted type express itself in the role of teacher and what are his strengths and weaknesses. Both men and women currently working as teachers at elementary school were approached for the research. An online personality questionnaire was used to identify the personality type of individual respondents. Method of in-depth interview was chosen for the data collection itself. Only respondents with an introverted personality type were selected for in-depth interviews. The results of the research brought a deeper understanding of the personality of the introverted teacher. Present czech neo-shamanism and it's impact on practitioner's lives

This work is devoted to neo-shamanism, the people who deal with it and its impact on their daily life. I focused on the "unprofessional shamans", i.e. such people who shamanism use for their needs or for the needs of their family and friends, but do not offer their services to the public, do not lead shamanic workshops, etc. In the context of my research, I attended several shamanic seminars and for data collection I used in-depth interviews with the people that these seminars also attending or have in the past attended. From these interviews emerged five categories that summarize my findings and which have the task to bring the readers perception of the world of these people. I focused on the circumstances that people to shamanism brought to what is on it intrigued, the largest share of the analytical section is devoted to some aspects of the current lives of my respondents and the role in them shamanism plays. One of the outputs is dedicated to nature, with which respondents receive information, which they at initial shamanic seminar received and at the end I added a few lines about the doubts that people sometimes feel towards it, what in the context of shamanic journeys they experience. Promotion of research and development by means of cluster brand building

The diploma thesis deals with promotion of research clusters by means of brand building. It focuses on a current situation of research clusters, research and development promotion and cluster branding. Primary data were collected by 2 qualitative research methods, focus group and in-depth interviews, which were carried out with representatives (n = 15) of 2 chosen target groups. The results are establishing research Stroke Brno cluster together with its branding strategy, cluster mapping and content analysis report summarizing the qualitative research results.
Blog jako nástroj propagace na B2C trhu

MOSEROVÁ, V. Blog as a promotion tool on the B2C market. Diploma thesis. Brno: Mendel University in Brno, 2017. The thesis deals with blog and vlogs and using them as a promotional tool on the consumers market. To determine the perception of the promotion of the products and services on blogs and also of the impact of the promotion on buying behavior, the questionnaire was used (n = 329). In-depth interviews with bloggers (n = 7) were also used to deepen the research. The results of primary and secondary research were compared. On the basis of the results, the recommendations were created for companies that would like to use blogs as another promotional tools.
