Qualification of Athletes for Olympic Games

This work deals with the summarization of data about the conditions of qualification for particular sport branches and disciplines for the Olympic Games. The issues focus on the 2016 summer Olympics. The aim of the theoretic part is to briefly introduce the history of the Olympics, the division of controlling authorities of international Olympic movement and the contribution of Olympic Games. Further are mentioned Olympic sports and disciplines, qualification of athletes for XXXI. Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro in 2016, the attendance of athletes and the programme of the Olympics. The theoretic part ends with the chapter about evaluation of the sport performance. As for the processing of the result part, the analysis of the documents, published by individual international sport federations. The method of controlled conversation was used for problematic questions, which appear during writing this work. The result part presents qualification criterions for all athletes, which were integrated into the programme of XXXI. summer Olympic Games. The discussion deals with the approval of my hypothesis that there are groups of sports, which had the same qualification for the Olympics in 2016. In conclusion, particular groups of sports are commented and the purpose of my work is assessed.
Comparison of the operation of selected ice stadiums in Prague.

Title: Comparison of the operation of selected ice stadiums in Prague. Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to compare selected ice stadiums to each others by using analysis. Furthrmore, the thesis should show the opportunities and threats of teh selected ice stadiums. Methods: The case analysis was chosen as the main research method. In the preparation of this analysis other methods, such as intentional selection, document analysis and semi-structured interview were applied. Based on the results the SWOT analysis was developed. Through this method the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the selected ice stadiums. SLEPT analysis was used to recognize factors, that affects selected ice stadiums. Results: The analysis shows that every single ice stadium is able to assure enough clients. Some cooperate with nearby schools, others are linked with ice hockey club. Three of selected ice stadiums are able to make profit, two are able not to lose money and two were not willing to provide their econimic information. It was also recognized, that there is a huge need to reconstruct some parts in almost every single ice stadium. We could also see that it is important to reach some money from grants. The Analysis of Selected Swimming Pools in Prague

Title: The Analysis of Selected Swimming Pools in Prague Objectives: The aim of my thesis is to create an analysis of selected swimming pools and to compare them to each others. Furthermore, the thesis should show the threats and opportunities of the selected swimming pools. Methods: The case analysis was chosen as the main research method. In the preparation of this analysis other methods were applied, such as intentional selection, document analysis and semi-structured interview. Based on the results the SWOT analysis was developed. Through this method the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the selected swimming pools are shown. The final comparison of all the swimming pools was made using all the previously mentioned methods. Results: The analysis shows that we can label all the selected swimming pools in Prague as functional swimming pools. Functional swimming pools do not lose money, nor do they profit. However, it was proved that none of the chosen swimming pools would be able to function without getting some form of grants. The location of a swimming pool does not influence the number of visitors coming there. Every location has its advantages and disadvantages. Advertising regulation in Czech and international hockey

Title: Advertising regulation in Czech and international hockey. Objectives: : The main target of this bachelor's thesis is to determine the diversity between legal systems in the advertising regulation relating to clubs participating in the highest ice hockey competitions in three selected EU countries, namely the Czech Republic, the Slovak Republic and the Federal Republic of Germany. Methods: In this work was used qualitative method of analysis of documents, which is supplemented by structured interviews with experts from various clubs. Results: From the perspective of the legal regulation must clubs in these three countries comply the same rules. Advertising is regulated in the same way. Title: Sports event management - Princeton-Blairstown Center Objectives: The aim of this work is on the basis of the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats to propose particular arrangement that would improve organization of Princeton-Blairstown Center in following years. Methods: Case analysis was used as the main research method. In preparation of this analysis participant observation, document analysis, semi-structured and unstructured interviews were applied. On the basis of these methods SWOT analysis was developed, which shows the strengths and weaknesses Results: The analysis showed that the Princeton - Blairstown Center was very well organized event with small issues. The camp is associated organization to Princeton University, camp gains part of the funding from the university or its foundations. The advantages of Princeton - Blairstown Center are mainly a high ropes course, a unique environment and area and because of these advantages camp has increasing number of participants every year. For the following years, it is very important to keep a good relationship with the university, take care of the site, keep the lake in good condition, try to find sponsors and improve promotion of Princeton - Blairstown Center. The main topic of the diploma thesis "Subjective wellbeing: approaches and evaluation in EU-15 and in the Czech Republic" is the subjective wellbeing and its conceptualization, especially the importance of this concept in the field of measurement and assessment of the progress and of the development of societies, which are sustainable. The thesis analyses the documents, which are published in the countries of EU-15 to cover the topic of the national strategies for sustainable development. The analysis considers the extent of the relevance of these documents from the perspective of including the concept of subjective wellbeing (with happiness, quality of life, satisfaction) in the texts and it also examines the wellbeig indicators, which are implemented in these texts and which are relative to the factors with certain influence on the level of personal or social wellbeing. The analysis is interested in the study of Czech documents relevant to this topic as well (The Czech Republic's Strategic Framework for Sustainable Development and Progress report). Funding of sport from public budgets in Denmark in comparison with Czech Republic Goal: Main goal of this thesis is to make a complex view of funding of sport from public budgets in Denmark. Other goal is to set out the main differences between Czech and Danish model. Methods: In this thesis was used the analysis of documents to find out how is the sport funded in Denmark. Also was used the descriptive analysis to describe system of financial flows from public budgets to concrete programs, sport clubs and organizations. This system was subsequently compared with the Czech. Results: Main result of this thesis is the specific view of the funding of sport from public budgets in Denmark and setting out the main differences between Czech and Danish model of funding. Public procurement in the Czech Republic

My Bachelor Thesis Public procurement in the Czech Republic deals with evaluating of public contracts in Usti region in years 2012-2014. Region of Usti is substantially dependent upon national budget which is supported from the federal budget of European Union. In those years was procured 2 007 public contracts in volume of 30 461 289 566 bilion CZK. The primary aim of this work is analysis of procurement arrangements in Usti region, and evaluation of procured public contracts in angle of number, financial volume and structure of public contracts. Particular indicator in performanced period, are compared and changes are graphical illustrated. Volume of public contracts increased to 43 % from the total financial capacity. Number of procurement arrangement increased to 38 %. Implemented method to obtain aims are based on promulgation and procurement of public contracts. Additional aim to obtain is implemented analysis of Usti nad Labem city in 2014 for procurement arrangement. Largest contractee in 2014 settled in Usti nad Labem, was region of Usti, which submited 71 % public contracts in total financial volume, and greatest number of order entries with 70 arrangement of public contracts.
