Education as a tool for learning about national cultural monument of Buchlov Castle

The thesis is focused on the interconnection of education and knowledge of the history presented in the environment of national cultural monuments. The main aim is clarification the concept of education and introduce it as one of the tools for the interpretation of cultural heritage. It is divided into theoretical and practical part. The first part of this thesis describes the main educational principles and possibilities of using education in practice applied to monuments. On the basis of examples of implemented educational programs on selected monuments, the extracted data are in principle used to compile an educational program in the environment of the national cultural monument - Buchlov Castle. Through the presentation of a real historical event, an educational syntax is designed in the form of a story, which mediates the knowledge of life in a certain historical period. In the practical part is included the connection between the wider history and historical events of Buchlov Castle. All of information are used and combined into an educational program presenting knowledge of the late Middle Ages and the Renaissance period. Health Education Curriculum in Elementary Schools and the Possibility of its Realization

The thesis is focused on health education and area of sex education in elementary schools. Work gives a picture of the current state of teaching of health education and determines the extent to which schools meet the requirements of health promotion. The theoretical part describes the historical development of health education curriculum in primary schools since the early twentieth century to the present. It deals with areas of sex education, its purpose, subject and content. The practical part deals with the integration of Health Education in schools, through the analysis of educational programs and survey.
Bilingual schools and European projects

The theme of this dissertation thesis is the relation of bilingual education and educational projects aimed at European issues. The research part was conducted at bilingual upper secondary schools in the Czech Republic, Germany and Great Britain (Wales). In the thesis the themes such as European politics, intercultural dialogue, international peace, human rights, humanitarian aid and language education are primarily included into European issues. The empirical research was deliberately realized at bilingual schools, where the instruction is delivered throught the medium of two languages. With regard to this fact a frequent participation at educational projects with European focus (European projects) was anticipated at these schools. European projects are often interconnected with the laguage studies. In recent years education projects have been an important part of the curriculum in Czech, German and British environment and they play a vital role in education context. The projects enrich the bilingual instruction from both methodical and content perspective and enable launching cooperation between schools and other partner institutions. Museum educational programmes for National Pedagogical Museum of J. A. Comenius in Prague

The main aim of the Diploma Theses is to prepare, verify in practice and evaluate museum educational programme for pupils from 12 to 18 (junior schools and secondary schools) which is devoted to the changes in schooling in 20th century. The aim is to introduce to pupils historical facts by the means of three educational programmes and interactive elements in the exhibition. Pupils work with topics covering World War II, 50s and so called normalization period. Throughout the educational process they will use period realia from the above mentioned periods, such as schoolbooks, educational boards and educational aids from the collection of Comenius National Pedagogical Museum and Library in Prague. Programmes supporting the development of children under three years old

The thesis is focused on the current possibilities of day care for children under three years and a deeper analysis of educational programmes supporting the development of children aged between two and three years in the capital city of Prague. The theoretical part summarizes the child care options in this age group, in terms of past and current offers in the Czech Republic, and covers the system of early intervention in selected European countries. With regard to the research objective, the work focuses on the child's needs, specific developmental areas and related educational programs that promote the development of the child's personality. For research, qualitative and quantitative methods are used - the methods of observation and questionnaires. The research is an analysis of the availability of interactive programmes for children, but also the potential of teachers to participate in the preparation, implementation and content of the programmes with regard to their experience and knowledge gained in working with young children. Christian Kindergarten

In my thesis I deal with the position of the Christian kindergarten in the system of pre-school education in the Czech Republic . I describe the historical development of the kindergarten as an institution. The development of pre-school children is assessed in terms of education, psychology and religion. Family and teacher are the basic partners in the lifelong patterns of shaping the personality of every child. The Christian kindergarten meets the same objectives as other pre-school facilities which are based on The Framework Education Programme. The difference between the Christian kindergarten and ordinary kindergarten is their founder and the Educational Programme which is oriented and adapted to the requirements of Christian education of pre-school children. The Christian kindergarten has a logical place and tradition in the system of pre-school education.

The content of the practical part is a survey amongst children's parents of their opinion about educational process including PC as educational tool.
