The personality of Czechoslovak rower Jan Jindra

This thesis focuses on the biography elaboration of the successful Czechoslovak rower Jan Jindra. In terms of content, the thesis is primarily focused on his personality, secondarily on a brief mapping of the three areas rowing history - in the world, Czech lands and Czechoslovakia and in South Bohemia. The section on history in the world primarily deals with rowing beginnings in England, the United States and Germany. The history of rowing is subsequently in the south of Bohemia and is targeted at a rowing club in Jindřichův Hradec, Tábor and Třeboň. In terms of time, the thesis is mainly focused on the 50s-70s, in which Jan Jindra spent the most successful years of his rowing career, in a broader context the period of the beginning of rowing in our country and in the world is covered. Excerpts from periodicals and literary memoirs can be found in the thesis too. The thesis is also supplemented with a large amount of period photographs and pictures.

Bachelor thesis pursues the marketing communication of inBalance club, particularly the sales promotion and advertising. First part focuses on the theoretical area of marketing communication, communication mix and mainly sales promotion and advertising. Analytical part is devoted to the status quo of inBalance club, competition analysis and marketing research. Based on extensive research, the final chapter presents own suggestions and recommendations that should lead to improvements of inBalance club's marketing communication.
Favorit Brno / cycling stadium - bicross track / architectural study - design / stage 2021/22

The diploma thesis extends the architectural study of the undergraduate project, which was focus on the topic of buildings with a sports content. The aim of this diploma thesis is design of specific stadium for track cycling competitions at the level of Olympic buildings. Design of building also contains the necessary operational and technical background of the construction. The main idea of the project was to create a building providing dignified areas for sports, spectators, multifunctional and, last but not least, a quality and functional architecture. It is also necessary to create club spaces for members of the Favorit Brno cycling club and also for visitors to sport events. The building consists of one main mass of the building, which is divided both, operationally and dispositionally into several units and floors. The main goal of the project was to create a simple velodrome mass that will be able to respond to the fragmented surrounding buildings and also create a comprehensive public space. Interior of the round stadium with a radial floor plan is sophisticatedly divided into tracts, which are served by a system of corridors. The race track itself is then located on the 2nd floor. An important factor of the design was also enough light, which is necessary to get into a large part of the massive building. The rough dimensions of the building are about 120 m in diameter and 21 m in height. The underground floor, which is used primarily for parking, reaches a depth of 3.8 m. The architectural study also includes the use for selected existing buildings, such as the building of the Favorit sports club, that will contains catering operation, important areas with energy of the building, as well as administrative and club premises. Methods: Qualitative research with unstructured interview with representative of leaders; quantitative research with questionnaire for players, parents and fans; analysis of competition; SWOT analysis. History of football club in Kostelec nad Labem

Objektive was to describe the history of the football club Kostelec nad Labem, now TJ Kostelec and the circumstnces under which it originated. Its origins and sport efforts from the beginning to the prezent. I work, besides the introductiion, dividend into two thematic areas: theoretical and practical. The first five chapters focus the theory, the sixth is practical. In the first two chapters set the goals, objectives and hypotheses. The third deals with the characteristis of football. The fourth chapter is devoted to the development of football in the world and in Czech republic. The fifth chapter is the most comprehensive and discusses the origins and history or the football club in that city and its current for mand activities. The six- chapter interview with a football witness, who is also coach youth. This sesction is considered the most important questions are directed and used to verify or reject hypotheses. The work is a compilation charakter and could beneficial both for people who deal with football, but also for those who would like to learn something about the fotmation of football clubs in this country and their beginning.

Title: The club development of american football in the Czech Republic In the first part of this thesis American football is introduced, explaining basic game principles and describing the game so that the reader can imagine what the sport is all about. The second part then focuses on examining the emergence of particular American football clubs in the Czech Republic. The whole period is divided into several stages, with a strong focus on finding a common denominator of individual events. The aim is to map American football in the Czech Republic since the establishment of the first club up to the present with emphasis on main themes and key periods. This diploma thesis maps the history of Basketball Club of Strakonice. It describes it's origin and further formation. In the introduction I have set the development of basketball in a global and also national context. In the second part I described basketball within it's regional form. The history is chronologically divided into consecutive periods. This work also contains rosters of player and trainers. I have also added specific archival data to support successes and failures of the team.
Contemporary Music Clubs in Prague

Author's precis The aim of this bachelor thesis is to survey the history and current situation of Prague music clubs and research the clubs in the Smíchov and Žižkov districts. The reader will be offered overall information about the location, interior, genre polarization and shortly described history of the clubs. We will also try to recognize the common and different signs of the clubs in the two districts. We will deal with the origin and history of the clubs and their development from broadside ballads and vaudevilles over musical chambers and cabarets of the old Prague to the music clubs of our times, since this information is also relevant to the topic. In the first part of the thesis we will deal with the definition of a music club and the history of these socio-cultural institutions in Prague. After the era of professionally composed broadside ballads and vaudevilles, their first real analogies seem to be Prague musical chambers and cabarets. Through the both wars and socialist era, we will get to the postrevolutionary Prague. In the second part, the practical research in the Prague music clubs is decribed. Title: Competitive Balance of the selected football leagues in Europe, their development and comparison. Goals: Determining the competitive balance in the six top European football competitions. This is a Czech Gambrinus liga, Dutch Eredivisie, German Bundesliga, Austrian Bundesliga, Ukrainian Premier liha Hungarian OTP liga, compare to competition and an outline of the development trend. Methods: The standard deviation of percentage wins, correlation coefficient, the presentation of results based on percentages, graphs, trends. Results: All results are presented in the analytical part of the work, verify predetermined hypotheses and are an important source of comparison for each event and outline trends.
