Today organizations use sports events in suppor of public relations as way of communiaction to their target markets. The form of these events is gathering different directions. The aim of this work is to design a project representing sports event in support of PR. The project is built on the basis of theoretical methods derived from the literature devoted to the project and sports management and event management. Volunteer project as way to strenghten intergenerational relationships

The intergenerational relationships between the generation of young people and the generation of the elderly constitute the topic of this thesis. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the specifics of generations of young and old people, demographic trends and aspects that have been occuring with an increasing number of seniors. Misunderstanding and intergenerational conflicts belong among the negative consequences of an aging society. In order to prevent intergenerational conflicts, it is necessary to create conditions so that the members of different generations can get to know each other better and comprehend the lifestyle of a different generation. Due to the transformation of the contemporary family - with grandchildren not having an opportunity to be with their grandparents in close contact as much as it used to be in the past - it is necessary to look for new ways to interconnect the worlds of young and old people. A volunteer project focused on an informal intergenerational learning is one of the options. Using fairy tales during free time activities in after school club

This Bachelor's work deals with the utilization of the literary genre of fairytales, in free time activities in the after school club. In the theoretical cast, the basic concepts are stated: fairy tale, children's literature, reader literacy, characteristics of the young school age, free time activities in the after school club. In the practical part, there is a description of a project tested in practise in a section of the after school club. The aim of this work was not only to awaken the interest of the pupil in reading, but even to show, that fairy tales develop the personality of children, imagination and can help us during solving educational problems.
Personal, Professional and Social Qualities of a Project Manager

The MA thesis is divided to two basic parts. First of them is dealing with personal, social and professional knowledge of a project manager and the second one is mapping the education of soft skills at Czech universities where the subject of study "Information Studies and Librarianship" is taught. The theoretical part is devoted to project management. The attention is devoted to basic terms from project management's area, it represents the most well-known project methodologies, it defines particular roles of a project manager and most importantly the part is dealing with particular competences, which should be commanded by a project manager. The last chapter of theoretical part is devoted to an analysis of the three most well-known project methodologies. The practical part is mapping the situation at universities - namely which subjects they offer within the education of soft skills and how the teachers are working with the subject. Other activities of universities within the education and the development of soft skills are also given. Further the examples of subjects with the same topic taught at American universities are listed. The culture and art of Pardubice in a school project

in English: This thesis deals with a project in an after-school club in theory and subsequently the project "Culture and Arts Pardubice" is demonstrated in practice. The theoretical part deals with after-school clubs, their function and importance for parents and pupils. I mention organizational forms of work there and emphasize the project as a highly effective tool which is appreciated by pupils as well. The practical part is devoted to the project "Culture and Arts Pardubice", which I have implemented in the after-school club of the primary school Polabiny 1 - Pardubice.
Promoting the Tobacco Control Law No. 379/2005 in the City of Vsetín: a Pilot Project Based on the Cooperation of an NGO and the Local Department of the Czech Police Force

This paper outlines the development of a pilot project that involved cooperation between a civic association and the local police department in the area of promoting the tobacco control law no. 379/2005 in the city of Vsetín. In the theory chapter I describe the effects smoking of tobacco has on the human body with a particular attention to the effects on children. The next section is about the field project "Children Don't Smoke", which the NGO carried out in the city of Vsetín, and its specific stages. The following chapter details each stage: the planning meetings of the members of the NGO and the police force, the information campaign and the evaluation process. Finally, in the conclusion I summarize the experience of the NGO with the state administration in applying the law in the area of tobacco control.. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
