Preparatory exercises to eliminate the most common faults in hurdles
Petřík, Pavel ; Jandová, Soňa (advisor) ; Kašpar, Ladislav (referee)
Diploma thesis is focused on the mistakes of hurdle running. Technical performance is very often ignored to the exclusion of training intensity and volume. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the technical faults and then describe preliminary exercises that will improve the technical performance of the different parts of hurdle running. In the theoretical part, the readers are introduced to information related to hurdle running (start, technique, rhythmic unit, etc.). In addition, the theoretical part introduces several aspects that lead to improving hurdling performance, such as strength, speed, and other skills. Lastly, the connection between psychology and sport is mentioned, where learning and temperament are mainly discussed. A very peripheral view of the philosophy of sport is mentioned in the thesis. Subsequently, we have taken pictures and analyzed them and named the most common mistakes in hurdling technique. We then applied preliminary exercises for 10 weeks and then took a second picture record. After the intervention program, we verified the athlete's progress. In most cases, the program worked as expected, only in one case the expected result did not occur. The last subchapter deals with the alternative use of obstacle courses in school physical education classes. The thesis then...
Preparation of applicants for admission procedures in physical education for the field of physical education and sport at the Faculty of Pedagogy of Charles University
Sedláčková, Lenka ; Hájková, Jana (advisor) ; Suchý, Jiří (referee)
The bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of the preparation of the students of the Faculty of Education of Charles University for the talent exams in physical education. The aim of the thesis is to find out how the students of Pedagogical Faculty of Charles University are prepared for the talent exams in physical education, whether they are prepared at all, for how long, or under what guidance and in what sports. In the theoretical part, the thesis deals with the introduction of the Framework Educational Programmes for Physical Education in different secondary schools and a comparison of their differences. Furthermore, it focuses on the description and characteristics of the physical education talent test at universities, including the different disciplines and sports that are included in the talent test. The theoretical section also concludes with an analysis of the role of physical abilities and skills as key determinants of sport performance and their impact on success in the talent test. In the practical part, a questionnaire survey among the students of the Pedagogical Faculty of Charles University in the field of physical education and sport in the first to fifth year is used to investigate whether the students are prepared for the talent exams, in what form and which sports they focused...
Training tracking using NFC technology
Blažík, Vojtěch ; Zachariášová, Marcela (referee) ; Strnadel, Josef (advisor)
This bachelor thesis describes the development of mobile application which uses NFC technology for training tracking and monitoring of gym equipment usage. The work summarizes the basic motivation and approaches to training and equipment tracking as well as NFC technology and mobile app development focused on the multiplatform framework Flutter. The resulting app is based on the client-server architecture with offline mode support and uses the identifiers of deployed NFC tags to identify the machine and exercises. The goal of this work is to show a functional system, which incorporates this technology in an unconventional way to achieve a higher user comfort.
A feedback profiling model for cybersecurity education and training
Lazarov, Willi ; Kuchař, Karel (referee) ; Martinásek, Zdeněk (advisor)
The need to educate users to some extent in cybersecurity is undeniable given the ever-increasing cyber threats. However, the approach to education and training cannot be simply generalized due to the different environments, technical backgrounds, and age groups of users. In addition, it is also important to proactively monitor, evaluate, and provide feedback to the individuals being taught or trained. The master's thesis addresses these challenges through the research and development of a feedback profiling model for effective cybersecurity education and training. The thesis first begins with a discussion of methods and techniques for cybersecurity education. Subsequently, the problem addressed is described in more detail, followed by the design of the proposed solution in the form of the profiling model with automatic feedback. The model, which consists of a profiling matrix, a profiling algorithm, and a learning curve, was first created and expressed mathematically without considering the properties of a particular cyber range platform and programming language, especially for easy replication, modification, and extension. Independently, the profiling model was implemented and subsequently integrated into the Brno University of Technology Cyber Arena (BUTCA) platform to validate the model on learning data from students of grammar schools, technical high schools, and universities. The resulting solution of this thesis brings to the cybersecurity field a new innovative approach to the evaluation of learned and trained users with an emphasis on individual feedback and continuous learning.
Využití neokovaných koní v parkurovém skákání
MIHALIKOVÁ, Eliška
It is not only in the Czech Republic that the barefoot trend is on the rise, i.e. the trend of horses without shoes, which are merely corrected. Several factors influence the decision whether or not to shoe a horse. Among the most important are the horse's work use and the surface the horse moves on, the condition of the hoof horn and economic considerations. In this study, the management and sport performance of 13 shod and 13 unshod park horses were compared. The horses were divided according to performance into 3 categories. In terms of training structure, a statistically significant difference (P0.05) was probably found only when comparing the time spent on field rides between shod and unshod horses of category Z and ZL. On average, shod horses spent 198 minutes per month in the field and unshod horses 100 minutes per month. There was no statistically significant difference between the amounts of jumping and riding work in either performance category. Furthermore, there was a statistically significant difference (rank P0.01) in the mean of all penalty points for ST*, T* and T** performance horses, with an average of 3.1 penalty points per unhooked horse and 5.58 penalty points per shod horse. Undocking had no effect on the sporting performance of the horse, therefore horse owners and riders need not worry about poorer results in sport and only shoe in the case of undocked horn.
Porovnání metod tréninku a přípravy koní pro vytrvalostní soutěže rozdílných stupňů výkonnosti
BERNARDOVÁ, Eliška
The aim of the bachelor thesis was to analyse the course of training and sport season of selected horses competing in various levels of endurance competitions. Three horses with differential performance were monitored. The following parameters of training were monitored on the selected horses: distance, speed, elevation, time and work in individual courses. Moreover, management, feeding regimen, the types of healthcare treatment and physiological parameters on selected horses were recorded.
Mobil system for monitoring of sports activity
Maleňák, Filip ; Čížek, Martin (referee) ; Rozman, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this master’s thesis is to analyse methods that are used for monitoring athlete’s activities and a description of current technical solutions with a focus on heart rate and respiratory rate monitoring. The presented solution shows the possibilities of using available open source SW and HW technologies and their implementation in the design of an integrated tool for monitoring sports activities with the iOS operating system.
Evaluation of backhand technique
Beneš, Jiří ; Kočíb, Tomáš (advisor) ; Pravečková, Petra (referee)
The bachelor thesis focuses on the evaluation of backhand technique in tennis. The backhand is one of the key skills in this sport and an accurate evaluation of this technique is essential to achieve success at the professional level. The aim of this evaluation is to analyse and assess various aspects of backhand technique, including fundamental elements, biomechanics and effectiveness. The evaluation begins with an analysis of the basic elements of backhand technique. This includes correct player stance, correct foot placement, correct hand position and accurate arm movement. These basic elements are key to the stability, control and power of the backhand stroke. The next part of the assessment deals with the biomechanics of the backhand stroke. The movement of the player's arm, shoulder and trunk are studied and how these factors affect the performance of the backhand. A thorough analysis of the biomechanics allows the identification of any errors in the player's technique and suggests improvements. The effectiveness of the backhand technique is another key aspect of the evaluation. Factors such as hitting power, control, ball rotation and accuracy are taken into account. These factors influence how a player handles backhand situations during a match and how effectively he can respond to...
