Children's Songs in the context of the curriculum regarding Czech grammar-specific words

The topic of the thesis is the search for functional intercurricular links in the teaching of first grade students. Specifically, it deals with the use of the didactic potential of song in the teaching of Czech language in the context of learning grammar specific words. The theoretical part will outline the history of the folk song as a specific typological category of music in the context of artificial and non-artificial music, while focusing on the Czech songs with didactic overlap. Based on the authors experience and the literature researched for this thesis, the author will define the basic principles of song creation suitable for the didactic use at the first stage of primary school and describe the most effective ways of children's interpretation of the song and their possible pitfalls. The practical part of the thesis will offer a set of author's lyrics and recordings of simple and memorable songs processing the curriculum of the grammar specific words, and will also measure the functionality of the listed songs in a primary school class survey. Support Measures in the Education of Pupils with Special educational Needs

The diploma thesis covers the procedural aspects of the provision of support measures of levels II-V at primary schools in the Žďár nad Sázavou district. It also explores the practical aspects and the support that teachers receive from school counselling centres in order to apply the support measures in accordance with the issued recommendations. The three research questions are: How do the educators evaluate the support provided by school counselling centres? What are the perceived challenges and opportunities for improvement for the educators when working with the school counselling centres? What form of cooperation with the school counselling centres would be most helpful for the educators when implementing the support measures in school? The thesis is divided into two chapters. The first chapter deals with the theoretical background of the thesis. It defines the concepts of younger school age, support measures of levels II-V, pupils with special educational needs, school counselling centres and school counselling facilities. The second chapter is focused on the description of the results of the qualitative research conducted by the author of the thesis. Comparison of the physical fitness of registered athletes - elevs and the general population of children of the same age category in athletic quadruple

The bachelor's thesis deals with the comparison of the performance of registered athletes of the elevs category and children of the general population of fifth grade in athletic quadruple. The athletic quadruple consists of 60 metres run, long jump, 600 metres run and cricket ball throw. The main objective is to determine, how much specialization at an early age affects athletic performance. A sub-objective is to compare the performance of registered athletes and children of the general population using mathematical and statistical methods in each selected discipline. The performance measurements took place in the USK Provod club and at the Mírová elementary school in Ústí nad Labem. The total number of the research population is 40 children, 20 registered athletes and 20 children of the general population, 10 girls and 10 boys. The data from my research show that specialization and regular training at an early age were able to significantly influence the performance of registered athletes. The category of registered athletes performs better than the category of children of the general population in all the specified disciplines.
Partnership and client approach in collaboration of family and school

The use of a puppet when introducing a new group of pupils

The title of the diploma thesis is the use of a puppet in introducing a new group of pupils in the first grade of elementary school. The diploma thesis deals in the theoretical part with the function and potential of the puppet in its use in primary school classes, analyzes the various types of puppets, also focuses on puppeteers - what they should be, what they should know and control. He also deals with mise-en-scène and everything that belongs to it, in addition, a whole chapter deals with the senses of the puppet. The practical part was carried out through action research in a small-class school (1st and 2nd grade) and deals with two teaching blocks - one without the use of a puppet and the other with its use. The results show that thanks to the puppet, the pupils are able to focus more on the lesson, enjoy it more and, above all, communicate better with each other and get to know each other better. Furthermore, the thesis is accompanied by a quantitative research in the form of a structured questionnaire, which investigated the use of puppets in the classroom and teachers' attitudes towards puppets in general.
Preparedness of primary school teachers for cooperation with teacher assistant, their cooperation in practice

My master thesis focuses on a readiness of primary school teachers to cooperate with assistant teacher, as I consider this topic an important issue. An important factor of inclusion is quality cooperation between an assistant and a teacher. Theo-retical part of the thesis is divided into five sections. First section explains main terms of the inclusive approach in pedagogy. Second part focuses on educational programs in a primary school in which is the education of a pupil with a special edu-cational needs defined. Third part mentions various means of support. Fourth part defines a position of a teaching assistant. Fifth part is dedicated to the cooperation of a teacher and an assistant. Empirical part of the thesis presents the results of a research. An aim of the survey, for which was used an quantitative method (ques-tionnaire), was to find out whether teachers think that they are ready (and how) to cooperate with a teaching assistant and how they cooperate with each other.
Drama and educational lessons designed with primary school children

In my thesis I focus on the benefits of drama education for primary school pupils. In the introduction, I consider the theoretical basis of drama education, project teaching, their use and the impact on the child's personality. An important chapter of the theoretical part is the developmental specifics of first-grade children. Main part of the work is the design of educational lessons for all grades of primary school. The focus of the work is the elaboration of drama-educational lessons within one topic (St. Ursula - the patroness of Ursula's education). Every lesson is designed so that it corresponds to the developmental level of students in a particular year. The practical part contains action research and evaluation of the questionnaire, which will check the depth of students' knowledge before and after the project within the given topic. Further includes a questionnaire for feedback from teachers of individual classes. The implementation of the proposed project is supplemented by a description, self-reflection and comparison of work in individual years. The second part of the diploma thesis also includes a comparison of the used methods of drama education in terms of functionality, with regard to the age and developmental specifics of students of individual years. Peer Element in Prevention of Children's Injuries at Primary School

This diploma thesis engages in the issue of protection of children's health. It focuses on the prevention occurrence of accidents among children. The aim of this thesis is to refer to the importance of this topic and to realize the project, in which primary school pupils have an opportunity to reduce the rate of accidents actively. The theoretical part presents epidemiological data about childhood's accidents, warns of the specifics of psychomotor development of primary school children. In addition to inform about the methods of intervention and prevention levels and it gives an overview of organizations which engage in the protection of health. The practical part presents the results of a survey that addressed the teachers in point of view on idea of leadership in teaching by older primary school pupils. Then constitute the specific prevention project in which fifth grade pupils prepares a lesson on the subject of injury prevention for the second grade pupils. Conclusion the practical part includes modifying the original project and recommendations for teachers, based on the experience gained in implementing the project.
