The role of personal assistant in education pupils with specific educational needs

The bachelor´s thesis deals with the role of a personal assistant in the education of pupils with specific educational needs in schools set under §16 par. 9 Act No. 561/2004. The main aim of this work was to analyse and describe the role of a personal assistant. The result was a starting point for two following questions. I found out how a personal assistant supports a pupil in studying and how the work of a personal assistant is rated by a personal assistant, a head of service, and a representative of school establishment. The results were achieved by studying scientific literature and qualitative research. The theoretical part of the bachelor´s thesis is focused on clarifying the concepts of a personal assistant, a teaching assistant, special educating, disability and explaining the concept of a person with special educational needs. The practical part provides information about specific organizations, in which I have done the research. The ARPIDA Centre, the Kaňka Centre, and Diakonie Rolnička. The research was conducted using qualitative strategy, and semi-structured interview method. The bachelor´s thesis can be a source of information, freely available in the academic library of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice. For example, for students in specialized fields, and also for general public. The bachelor´s thesis provides insight into the role of a personal assistant in the education of pupils with special educational needs. The result of the research shows that a personal assistant is an important and necessary element in the educational process of pupils with severe health or combined disabilities.

Acting in Alternative Theatre

This thesis describes the specific aspects of actors’ work in the productions
directed by Klára Hutečková. The actor shows how the collaboration developer
during the years of study at DAMU, noting that from the very beginning it
exceeded traditional concepts of acting as the creation of a character. The
collaboration culminated in 2015 with the graduation production To the
Lighthouse, up to the Page 73, which made use of experience gained in previous
works. They key part of the thesis id, therefore, analysis of this production,
focusing on the acting and defining three types of means of actors’ expression:
the character, between the character and the intermediary, the intermediary. In
the conclusion, those three types are applied to concrete examples from the
production.

Influence of an active teaching method of music lessons on selected second language ablities of primary age students

Music is integral to our lives, whether by listening to it, singing, or playing an instrument. In addition to this, music has effect on brain development and language learning. The aim of this thesis is close evaluation of relation between the development of musical and foreign language skills in case of primary age students. Through conducting an examination of the ability to gain foreign language skills using different ways of teaching musical education. 5th grade students who participated were divided into 3 groups. They differed in intensity and approach to music education. The first group had one singing lesson per week. The other two groups had as part of their lessons singing and also playing instruments such as flute and Orff instruments, and had movement education as part of their lessons. These two groups differed in intensity - 1 and 3 lessons per week. To note most of the students that had higher intensity of music education focused to music also in their after school activities. The three groups had the same amount of English lessons in all grades. Students were tested via Cambridge test "Movers" in listening, reading and writing. The concept of teaching the teachers first grade of elementary school and possibilities of its changes

The thesis discusses about the teacher's concept of teaching at teachers first grade of primary school and the possibilities of its transformation. In the theoretical part was to summarize the findings about which folders contains how the teacher's concept of teaching forms and which factors may cause changes in the teacher's concept of teaching. The aim of the empirical part of this thesis was to find out what the concepts of teaching have selected respondents. A partial aim of this study was to determine how the teacher's concept shaped and which factors affect the possible changes in the teacher's concept of teaching. Marketing communication of the alternative content in cinematic distribution

The bachelor thesis "Marketing communication of the alternative content in cinematic distributions" describes the phenomenon of alternative content - live cinematic streamings of opera, ballet, theatre shows, exhibitions tours, sports games and other events. Over a few years, these screenings became a regular part of Czech cinema's programme. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the concept of art marketing, its specifics and development. The next part of the thesis characterizes the history of the alternative content and the circumstances that enabled its introduction to the market. This part also outlines the specific kinds of alternative content screenings. The practical part of the thesis shortly introduces the Aerofilms company, the main distributor of the alternative content at the Czech market and it analyses the marketing communication of several alternative content screenings. Afterwards, the specifics, which are connected with the marketing communication of the alternative content are determined.

The influence of shared custody on the child's school success in primary school

The topic of this diploma thesis is the influence of joint custody on school successfulness of a child. In the theoretical part I describe a contemporary family and major functions of the family. I chart the situation of legislation in the Czech Republic, I deal with circumstances how the Czech courts make a decision about commiting children into parental care after a divorce of their parents and whether the number of children being involved in joint custody increases. I am really interested in the fact whether the courts make a decision based on the child needs. Following this part I focus on the definition of school successfulness of children and the behaviour of younger learners. I indicate the factors that could have an influence on school successfulness. In the practical part I present the results of my qualitative research. I explore the influence of joint custody into child school successfulness from the point of view of class teachers. I survey the behaviour of children who live in joint custody after the divorce of parents and I also take an interest into the fact whether the class teacher have noticed any features that could connect these children.

The thesis deals with the issue of legal regulation of compensation for damage caused by protected species of animals. It analyzes the most important legal sources relating to the protection of biodiversity and focuses on legal theory and practice of a highly interesting issue of legal status of animals. The thesis also clarifies alternative solutions for compensation for damages, including possible future legislation on this issue, and a brief comparison of the Czech legislation with the legislation of the Federal Republic of Germany.

Prague: The Faculty of Arts of Charles University, 2013. 82 pgs. The final thesis. This thesis deals with adolescent as offenders and their family environment and family relationships. The theoretical part of this work presents the importance of the family during adolescence as it related to specific factors which may have an impact on whether juveniles commit the offence or not. The importance of the family environment was the basis for the design, development and implementation of psychosocial program "Together". In the case of juveniles' committing crimes, the relationships between family members are even more at risk, which appears to be at risk for further development and upbringing. The aim of the program was to strengthen the juvenile's personality and relationships in their family. The purpose of the program activities, within a safe environment to allow juvenile offenders and their parents to share some important information from their life experiences to help with reflection.
