Society's attitude towards children and adolescents with behavioral disorders
ŠÍMOVÁ, Michaela
The bachelor's thesis deals with society's attitude towards children and adolescents with behavioral disorders. The work is divided into a theoretical part and a practical part. In the theoretical part, the characteristics of behavioral disorders, their classification, and the manifestations of behavioral disorders in children and adolescents at the present time are presented. Attention was also paid to risky behavior, antisocial behavior, factors influencing behavioral disorders, etiology and prevention of behavioral disorders, and the system of care for children and adolescents with behavioral disorders is also mentioned here. The last chapter already deals with the company's attitude. The practical part was carried out using a quantitative survey, using the questionnaire method. A total of 160 respondents took part in the survey. Three objectives were chosen for the bachelor thesis. The first goal was to find out how today's society perceives children and adolescents with behavioral disorders, or the clientele of institutions of institutional education. The second goal was to find out how these individuals are treated, i.e. if they are perceived as problematic or dangerous, or if society perceives them in a different light. The third goal was to find out if they also see the causes of their problems and can perceive them positively. Based on the results, it was found that society perceives children and adolescents with behavioral disorders most often as someone who often and in large quantities consumes alcohol and smokes cigarettes. The majority of respondents perceive individuals with behavioral disorders as fixable, and more than half perceive them as someone who is to blame for their disorder. The thought of individuals with behavioral disorders in society evokes mixed feelings in most. More than half of the respondents perceive these individuals as problematic, but not dangerous. The research also showed that society believes that the greatest influence on the emergence of disordered behavior is an unsatisfactory family environment and relationships with peers. Society has largely agreed that the most important factor in preventing the development of behavioral disorders is a suitable family environment. The vast majority of those interviewed also believe that children and young people with behavioral disorders in our country do not receive enough care and are not taken care of.
Realization of educational problem based on experimental apparatus with cam mechanism
Tomeček, Vojtěch ; Vrbka, Martin (referee) ; Vaverka, Michal (advisor)
Bachelor's thesis is focused on solving educational problem based on experimental apparatus with cam mechanism. The task of the educational problem is to teach students to analyse kinematic quantities of cam followers. The thesis contains general discourse on the topic of cam mechanisms and basic terms definition. This is followed by putting the device into service, eliminating its particular imperfections, analysis of kinematic quantities of various combinations of available cams and followers and definition of methodics of the educational problem. The educational problem itself follows the presentation and commentary of gained results. At last some recommendations for the future modifications of the experimental apparatus are given followed by foreshadow of its eventual future usage.
GPS data usability in mobile robot navigation problem
Novák, Pavel ; Věchet, Stanislav (referee) ; Krejsa, Jiří (advisor)
This work is focused on problems of the GPS/DGPS receiver precision used by mobile robot for navigation in outdoor environment. The first part deals with theoretical analysis of GPS, description of it´s functions, errors and their influence on measurements accuracy. Second part deals with practical measurements performed at two locations with different types of obstacles restricting the view to the sky and using the refining methods of measuring the DGPS or so-called differential GPS. The last part of study presents the measured results and its analysis.
The computational possibilities of Android devices for localization
Brychta, Josef ; Mlýnek, Petr (referee) ; Fujdiak, Radek (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with implementation of selected localization methods to Android devices. These methods were then measured and the results processed to optimization schemes.
Velocity pickup
Konečný, Jan ; Pikula, Stanislav (referee) ; Beneš, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with a proposal of a sensor for measuring relative oscillation of two interacting surfaces. The thesis describes two possible solutions with their advantages and disadvantages, and a patent research. The main part of this bachelor thesis concentrates on inductive position sensor – its attributes and practical proposal.
Application for Tracking Devices for Windows Phone OS
Pupák, Juraj ; Trchalík, Roman (referee) ; Očenášek, Pavel (advisor)
This application deals with recording of position about phone devices with help of system GPS. The application is implemented for platform Windows Phone 7.5. The Application allows to create profiles, which are evaluated with recorded positions. The evaluation is made through 2 points with Haversine formula. The theoretical part of thesis deals with technologies and GPS system, the practical part deals with design and implementation.
The MEMS sensors usability for position detection
Bobalík, Lukáš ; Sedláček, Jiří (referee) ; Žák, Jaromír (advisor)
Within this Master’s thesis, design and construction of a strapdown inertial navigation system based on MEMS sensors is described. The thesis includes theoretic analysis of physics behind determining the position of an object based on the object’s aceleration and changes in the object’s orientation in space. Included is also an overview of mathematical methods related to the position calculation.
Research of Localization Algorithms in Wireless Sensor Networks
Holešinský, Pavel ; Morávek, Patrik (referee) ; Šimek, Milan (advisor)
This diploma thesis is focused on research of localization algorithms. Each developed localization algorithms are generally application specific. Because of application requirements diversity, many variants of localization algorithms exist. In case of finding appropriate localization algorithm for concrete application usability, existence of real condition simulation environment is useful. Development of this simulation environment was made simultaneously with both localization algorithms. At first, survey of available localization technic was performed and their summary was listed. Further work was aimed on research of two localization algorithms. Both of them use triangulation mechanism to determine unknown node position. This mechanism is based on measurement of distance to three reference points with known position. It would seem that both algorithms are similar, but simulation shows their difference and presents their suitability for diverse conditions.
City apartment house Klíčova
Foltýnová, Michaela ; Mléčka, Jan (referee) ; Šindlar, Jiljí (advisor) ; Krupicová, Jana (advisor)
New city apartment house is located in the center of Brno, incorporated into older apartment buildings on the Klíčova street and partly on the Zvěřinova Street, near the Křenová street, Olomoucká street a Tržní street. It is a monolithic reinforced concrete skeleton, founded on piles, with five aboveground floors and one underground floor, finished by a flat roof. The house is separated by four entrances to units. Each of these units contains a specific type of flat and house is fully wheelchair accessible. In the house there is a underground parking, service areas and flats. Behind the house there is a recreational area for residents of the house. This house is interesting because of interior design and attractive location, especially thanks to the position in the city center, easy accessibility and pleasant surroundings near the river Svitava and a adjacent alley.
Utilization of multi-body simulation tools in subject Kinematics
Jediný, Lukáš ; Lošák, Petr (referee) ; Březina, Lukáš (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with the creating computer examples for teaching the subject of kinematics. It is a display of options in present multi-body simulation tools. Especially the simpler mechanisms, which have higher value for students than models of complex kinematic mechanisms, were modelled.
