Book as part of leisure activities in the after-school club

This bachelor thesis concerns book reading as part of leisure activities in after-school care. The goal of it is to outline the infrastructure of family reading through interviews with after-school care students and to also suggest reading related activities - recitals, discussions, opinion sharing etc. around the selected book of Miloš Kratochvíl - Puntíčkáři. These activities were completed by the creation of lapbook. They were not only conducted but also their efficiency was reflected through observations, afore-mentioned interviews and an analysis of the students' creations. The theoretical portion of this thesis presents after-school care in its historical and contemporary context as well as it shows its functions and goals. Concepts such as reading and reading literacy, personal development, communication skills, free time, leisure time education and reading strategies for children and youth, are introduced here. In the practical portion, reading strategies were applied when working with the book Puntíkáři by Miloš Kratochvíl. One of the stories from the book is also accompanied by lapbook. Proposal for Improvement Communication in Firm

Abstract The thesis deals with effective interpersonal communication and communication with customers, which is one of the most important parts of marketing. The thesis is divided into three main sections – theoretical, analytical and practical. The theoretical part describes external and internal communication in corporate management. The analytical section describes the company Videoklinik Ltd. from perspective of its activities and by means of analysis identifies weaknesses in communication. In the practical part elements of communication are drawn and recommended to streamline system of communication within and outside the company thus to secure not only prosperity of the company but mainly its maintenance on the market.
Evaluation of Communication with Foreign Customers of TEMPISH Ltd. with Possible Improvement Proposals

The subject of this master’s thesis is communication with foreign customers in the company TEMPISH Ltd. The thesis is divided into two parts connected to each other and complements each other. It is the theoretical basis and its subsequent practical use. The theoretical part is focused on clarifying the concepts of communication, customer and their forms. In the practical part of the thesis communication with customers in the company TEMPISH Ltd. is characterized. This part also covers analysis of survey results. Based on the findings proposals to improve the current state of communication, especially with foreign customers, are described.

The diploma thesis concerns the internal communication in the company which I have selected. The theoretical part of the thesis describes generally the findings about communication and internal communication. The body focuses on an analysis of the internal communication within the selected company, using the questionnaire. The analysis includes recommendations based on the results of the survey, which could enhance the effectiveness of internal communication within the company structure.
Diagnostic of school maturity of children with impaired communication ability

This thesis deals with the issue of school readiness of children with speech difficulties in the preschool period. The theoretical part of the thesis describes in detail the areas of preschool child development, as well as communication of the preschool child, school maturity and readiness, and diagnosis of school maturity and readiness. In the practical part of the thesis, qualitative research is conducted using a diagnostic method to assess school maturity in children with impaired communication skills who are awaiting entry into primary school. Subsequently, individual speech and language therapy interventions are designed for those children who, based on the results of the assessment, are ready to enter primary school. The aim of the work is to contribute to a better understanding of the issue of school readiness of children with impaired communication skills and to provide practical tools to support the communication skills of these children in preparation for entry into primary school. The design of the speech therapy intervention serves as a complement to home practice before starting primary school. Conditions for Successful Implementation of CLIL Methodology in Primary School

in English: The aim of this thesis is to explore conditions that enable to implement CLIL methodologies in primary school. In the theoretical part, the CLIL method will be described as an innovative approach in teaching foreign language. We will focus on hard CLIL and teaching CLIL in non- language subjects. Further, we will analyse benefits and perils that can occur while teaching foreign language in non-language subjects. The empirical research will focus on conditions that enable to implement CLIL methodologies in primary school and make it sustainable.
Communication skills of children in the compulsory year of pre-school education

The bachelor's thesis is focused on speech therapy, it is devoted to the communication skills of children in the compulsory year of preschool education. The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to find out whether there are differences in the area of communication skills among children in the compulsory year of preschool education depending on the length of attendance at kindergarten. The theoretical part introduces the reader to upbringing and educating a child of preschool age and compulsory preschool education, which is closely related to this area. Furthermore, topics related to communication skills are elaborated in the thesis, individual concepts from the field of communication are defined, and the development of communication skills of the child starting primary education is elaborated on. The thesis also discusses speech therapy intervention in all its areas. The research part of the work monitors the communication skills of children in the compulsory year of preschool education, acertains the abilities of speech expression and communication skills of children in the compulsory year of preschool year, possible differences in speech expression and communication skills of children attending kindergarten from the age of 3 and children entering the compulsory preschool year from home environment....
Students' Argumentation Skills in the Topic of Tick-borne Diseases

ABSTRACK We consider argumentation skills to be a necessary attribute of effective communication in the present day for full application in both personal and social life. For this reason, these abilities are purposefully incorporated into education at primary and upper primary schools in the form of a key communicative competence. Pupils' argumentation skills can be developed through targeted teaching activities on appropriately chosen topics that encourage discussion. The purpose of this work was to map the skills of formulating one's own arguments in the topic of tick-borne diseases and the possibilities of their prevention among pupils in upper primary school. For this purpose, a complex task was constructed and presented to 369 pupils. Pupils' formulated arguments were evaluated according to their frequency, effectiveness and factual correctness. The pupils' argumentation skills were shown to be at a low level. It was found that the pupils' arguments were influenced by the grade and their personal attitude towards the topic under consideration. For the effective cultivation of this skill, we consider it desirable to pay systematic attention to it in primary and upper primary education through targeted activities.
