The bachelor's thesis refers to the official assignment of the management of the school Na Radosti in Žďár nad Sázavou. It is a democratic school where the teaching system is based on freedom of decision and non-archiving of individuals in the community. This school is now located in various locations in the city and needs a new quality space that meets current requirements and standards. The school with a capacity of about 100 pupils should create a pleasant space for teaching and support concentration. The demarcated plot of land directly encourages the direct connection of the school with nature, which is also required by the given system of teaching, as the teaching is also distributed to the outdoor areas.

Šebestík, Libor ; Hulíková Tesárková, Klára (advisor) ; Fialová, Ludmila (referee)
Application of (geo)demographic methods in education Abstract This master's thesis presents the possibilities of application of demographic, geodemographic and statistical methods on data published by the educational sector. The methods of demographic analysis are represented by the usage of rates, the concept of multistate demography (Markov chains) and the application of life tables. The enrollment ratio at particular levels of education, the average length of schooling and the number of dropouts from school grades are evaluated by these procedures. Markov chains which are based on the probabilities of transition between grades are also examined in terms of their use for forecasting purposes. These methods analyze the situation at the preschool, primary and secondary levels and are used on data from the annual Statistical Yearbooks on Education. In the field of geodemography, the so called preferential model of migration flows is presented. This model examines how applicants for tertiary education prefer or reject the regions of the Czech Republic for their tertiary education studies. The last method is the binary logistic regression which analyzes the inequalities in access to tertiary education. Both preferential model and logistic regression are based on data files on the admission process at...
Media and digital technologies in primary school education
Novák, Jakub ; Wolák, Radim (advisor) ; Lucký, Jakub (referee)
The end of the twentieth century is the beginning of significant development in the area of digital technologies. Modern technologies make our everyday life easier, they enable us to work more effectively, and they are a source of fun for all the age groups. Modern technologies have a great impact on us and our environment and thus they deserve our attention. Children, who are in everyday contact with modern technologies since the day they were born, are an especially sensitive group exposed to modern technologies. Thus this thesis aims to investigate whether Czech primary schools are aware of these digital changes in society and whether they react to these. In the theoretical part, an overview of the digital world (media, cyberspace, virtual reality) and the state of equipment at schools is being mapped. The research then focuses on using technologies in everyday life at schools. It concentrates on computer literacy of teachers at public elementary schools in Prague 7, their attitude to digital technologies, and their readiness to adapt to the fast pace of technological innovations.
